CHAPTER 1

With the sky blue and clear,

The plane set off to America with a man dejectedly sitting at a corner on one sunny day. He looked so poor and wretched. He had a stinky smell on him that was difficult to ignore.

Many passengers were gazing at him with a disgusting face.

“Somebody help, there is an old man dying here.”

They heard a woman screaming on top of her voice. The flight attendant rushed to the scene and truly to the woman’s words he saw an old man lying on the ground motionless.

“ What happened?”

he asked the woman in a worried tone.

“ I don’t know what happened, he was fine just now. We were all chatting happily when he suddenly went down holding his chest”

she said shakily, almost at the verge of shedding tears.

“ Calm down Miss, everything is going to be alright,” the attendant comforted her.

He took his hands and felt his pulse.

“ We thank God he is still breathing,” he sighed in relief.

Churchill looked at the scene unveiling quietly studying their every move and analyzing the situation with the little he knew since he had some knowledge about health.

“Is there any doctor in this plane? The flight attendant announced rashly.

Churchill hesitated for a while but later stood up with the little courage he had left in him

” I can help “

he said almost in a whisper .

Everyone turned sharply to look at the one who just spoke but got disappointed seeing who spoke.

The flight attendant looked at him from his head downwards disgusted by his appearance.

“ Are you sure,”

the lady asked him with doubt.

“Yes I’m very sure I can help,”

he nodded.

“ You sure don’t look like a doctor”.

But he still decided to give him a chance since the situation was serious.

Just as Churchill was about to attend to the unconscious old man, he was stopped by the flight attendant.

“And what do you think you are doing with that dirty hand of yours”

the flight attendant said with the look of horror on her face.

“I can help him”

Churchill said agreeing out any emotion shown on his face.

The passengers on board were skeptical about what he was about to do.

“We wouldn’t be responsible for anything that happens to him,” said one passenger.

“Please he needs medical attention, and it seems he is the only person who can help him now”

The lady with the old man said with tears and worry on her face.

“Fine he can attend to him, but bear in mind if anything happens to him you two would be responsible for that,”

said the flight attendant.

The passengers approved with what she said.

Churchill attended to the man and after some time one could see life returning to him.

His contrition was finally stabilized.

The lady with the old man and all anticipating his failure signed in relief after seeing that he was finally okay.

No one wanted to be in a daring situation because of Churchill imposed behavior.

At the airport,

stood a middle-aged man Dr. Sergio who is a physician attendance in a famous hospital with some group of men in Black and other big shots in the country who have come to meet and welcome a great personality Mr. Welly whom they call the Lord.

He’s the CEO of SOLIDARIDAD company, which is well known in the country.

They were told that the Lord has gotten attacked on the plane. They were yet to confirm the type of attack.

The military men were moving around waiting patiently for the plane to land.

A call came in

“ the plane is about land”.

Right after the plane hit the ground all the great personalities, the group of men in black and the Dr. rushed to the plane with an ambulance.

They shouted

“ pave the way!

Pave the way! “

everyone moved away and allowed their personalities to move.

The people around were wondering what was going on.

Others were saying in a low tone to each other

“ is there any great personality in an ordinary plane?”

in a shocking mood.

They were all eager to see the great person who chose to board an ordinary plane over a VIP plane.

The plane finally landed and in a hurry one of the men in black carried the old man to the ambulance.

The passengers then realized that the old man wasn’t an ordinary person but a great man in the country.

Some of the passengers felt ashamed for looking down upon Mr. Churchill. They started to praise him

“ Thank you so much Sir for saving the life of this old man and us because if something had happened to this old man we would have been in a great problem. Also, we’re sorry for looking down on you “

. Mr. Churchill smiled and replied,

“You're welcome. We all thank God for saving this old man’s life.”

“ He’s still unconscious,”

said the military man, that carried him.

“We need to take him to the hospital for a check-up as soon as possible because there’s no equipment,” said Dr. Sergio.

Churchill sitting on the corner of the airport saw what was happening, walked to Dr. Sergio, and said

“ This man has less than an hour to live, allow me to save his life using acupuncture else in 10 minutes he will start to vomit blood and lose his life am very sure this acupuncture will sustain this old man’s life till you get to the hospital “.

“ Young man! ,

I don’t believe in this Chinese method or acupuncture thing you’re talking about. Remember this man here is a prominent person if anything should happen to him you will have to pay dearly with your life.”

Said Dr. Sergio in an angry tone.

Churchill turned to look at the granddaughter of the old man. He told her to allow him to use the acupuncture method to save the old man’s life.

He tried to explain things to her but she was confused about what to do, whether to go by Dr. Sergio’s word or Churchill’s.

Dr. Sergio asked,

“ Tell me, who are you? A doctor? A lifesaver?”. You cannot be any of them because you don’t look like any. What is best for you is to go back to your seat and enjoy the new environment.

Churchill turned back again to look at the old man’s granddaughter, Julia was still confused about the whole thing.

“ Thank you so much for your concern and help we appreciate it. Please let the Dr. do his job “ said Julia.

Churchill walked back to his seat without uttering a word.

Dr. Sergio advised that they send Mr. Welly to the hospital.

As they were about to leave the old man started to vomit blood.

They had no idea what was going on Dr. Sergio knew what will happen to him, if anything should happen to Mr. Welly.

He started panicking he called the hospital if they could help him with any first aid before they get to the hospital but was too late for such assistance.

He recalled what Churchill told him but felt ashamed to go back to him for help. He tried all he could but there was no change, the situation kept getting worse.

Julia remembered what Churchill told them about how to save her grandfather. She rushed to Churchill's seat

“ Please save my grandfather’s life “she cried.

I'm sorry I can't help you I don't want to pay with my life if anything happens to your grandfather.

"You remember what your Dr. said right"?

I’m a stranger in the country I have my reasons to be here I can’t afford to lose my life, Miss.

Julia continued to cry bitterly " he's my only source of happiness please help me I don't want to lose him".

Let Dr. Sergio do what he think is right, I can't help you, Miss." I'm sorry," he said.

Julia ran to Dr. Sergio and asked him to plead with Churchill to save his grandfather's life.

Dr. Sergio felt ashamed and followed Julia.

" I'm sorry for all I said earlier please save our Father's life" he cried.

Churchill after hearing this felt downhearted and agreed to use acupuncture to save the old man's life.

" I have heard you".
