Chapter 4847
Author: Lord Leaf
Charlie said, “I once heard my father’s old subordinate saying that back then when my parents died, they were besieged by a group of dead soldiers. After they succeeded, all of them bit the poison in their mouths and died on the spot. The method they used is the same as that of the group of dead soldiers that we met at the stadium. Although there is a span of twenty years between the two incidents, considering the fact that the other party is an organization that has lasted for hundreds of years

Charlie was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Quinn—she had been traveling around the world for her global tour and hadn't returned to Oskia for a while. She was also working very hard because she would be retiring from showbiz altogether, and this would be her farewell tour.Charlie answered her call cheerfully, "It's really been a while since you last called.""Hey, Charlie!" Quinn greeted him eagerly. "I'm boarding a flight back to Eastcliff as we speak.""Where are you right now?" Charlie asked in surprise."Lisbon!" Quinn replied. "It's the last foreign stop planned for my farewell tour, and then I'll be retiring after the last domestic stop!"Charlie asked, "Well, where's the final stop?""Eastcliff!" Quinn replied. "I thought about it a lot, but since the first was in Aurous Hill, I should have the last in Eastcliff. Aurous Hill is where you live, and Eastcliff is where we both grew up. That just makes it all the more meaningful!""That sounds great," Charlie chuck

The second was the bounty.Once it was confirmed that an individual was a sexual predator, the bounty would be issued online, just like how Matt had issued that bounty on Tanya previously. After that, it could be claimed by anyone as long as the kill was confirmed. The third was the rewards for assistance.Just like video games, a solo kill would see the bounty rewards claimed completely by one individual. However, if it were a joint effort, those who helped would be rewarded too, even if the person only helped by tripping the target off his feet in a chase. With how much money was being offered, they could at least afford over a hundred bounties, even if each cost a hundred million.Naturally, the fund should also reveal the principles on which they operated on.Once the tip was proven true, the list of crimes that the accused committed would be published right away.Naturally, after the evidence comes the bounty.Even if those predators had the power to ensure their own saf

Pat sighed in exasperation but had no choice but to leave. After Pat left, Greg smiled and nodded at Hank, "Congratulations on a full recovery, Sir. In my career, never have I seen any patient who recovered from any level of pancreatic cancer."Hank nodded, as he was delighted himself that his pancreatic cancer had simply vanished.Lying on his neck and kicking his feet in the air, he thought to himself that every penny spent was worth it, with such a miraculous cure.Still, he couldn't help feeling a little exasperated as he shook his leg and felt his junior dangling limply. His pancreas was cured, but whether he regained his manhood was another question. He would ask Greg or other specialists to examine what the deal was with that, but considering that Charlie was the one who had caused it, he could already foresee that none of them would be able to undo it.Worst of all, word would spread with people subsequently making him a joke, or the hospital might consider him a new aty

Then, he walked up to Hank, his face glowing with hope. "Sir, can you tell us about your treatment? I have been working as a doctor for so long, but I've never encountered such a miracle. Did Oskia perhaps have some breakthrough in the medical field?"Hank waved him off. "Don't even try—it's pointless. It cost me a whopping billion dollars, so how many others do you think can afford that?""A billion?!" Pat exclaimed in shock. "That treatment cost you... a billion?!""You got that right," Hank replied, cringing inwardly. It would cost him that much either way, whether he chose to cure his cancer or his impotence… Though at this point, curing his cancer made more sense.Dumbstruck, Pat blurted, "A billion dollars… You could just buy a hospital!"Pausing for a moment, he then pressed, "What is it that costs so much? Some state-of-the-art equipment, or some sort of special medicine?"Hank shot back. "Really? You're asking me?"Pat nodded. "Yes… Please recall, if you can, what trea

As requested, the technician tapped on Hank's previous full-body scan right away, enlarging the section over his pancreas as requested. With the contrasting agent, the scans before had shown that Hank's cancer had grown rapidly, causing the pancreatic head to swell.Pat stared at the scan, murmuring, "There's no mistake—the cancer was there, obvious and huge. How did it just disappear?!"Turning to the technician, he urged, "Quick! Switch to the new scans!"The technician quickly did so, but once again it was obvious—there was no abnormal tumor growth.Pat was left gaping, and he turned to the doctors around him, "Does this even make sense?""Nope," Greg was the one who answered, shaking his head. "Even an ink splotch would leave a smear, but the new images are squeaky clean."Turning to the technician, he asked, "Could it be a machine error?"The technician promptly shook his head. "No. We had system checks when we were notified earlier.""Well, that's strange…" Pat magnifi

However, the way Greg saw it, Oskian medicine could only offer palliative care in the face of terminal illness.Their doctors weren't even trying to cure their patients, but only to put them at ease for a comfortable death.Which was why Greg presumed that Hank would be getting cancer treatment back home, anyway. He had even called up the best oncologists and asked for referrals to discuss and formulate a plan of action with Hank after he returned.Soon, it was daybreak as Hank's private jet landed at JFK Airport.Instead of going to the hospital by car, he had a helicopter arranged and waiting, taking him straight to the hospital where the doctors were waiting just like last time.Pat Johnson, the dean, hurried to Hank as he got off. "Sir, I really don't think we need another round of tests. We should be formulating a plan of action immediately and starting your treatment right away!"Hank shook his head. "Take blood samples and check my CA199 levels right now, and we will go f

More like loosing money for no reason now

Just like you are entitled to your thoughts and others are too. Mind your business and let people share how they feel after spending their money and time on this. We simply want more for the author who we know is capable of great things. That’s what the comments sections is used for. Thanks!!!

Is this a rush chapter to get back in our good graces? Sure don’t look like much to me. To think after 6+ months that’s the best you can do will really help us move on from this story quick.

At least this part gets more interesting, we get to learn more about the undead and it’s structure, the New York excursion is almost over and we’re getting ready to go back across the pond.

Those never ending complainers should simply STOP reading.

By the end of the day, this comment section will have more in it than what is offered to read each day, what a joke. The author and the book app should be ashamed of themselves for treating us who pay money, we’ve invested so much, I want a refund if I can’t get more than this!

it is indeed bloody bullshit.. why not publish the whole story in its complete form so that the readers interest is sustained throughout... I'm seriously thinking of exiting this Novel Chanel when I complete this story and would never again resubscribe...

Bullshit bullshit and more bullshit

This is like never ending story
