Chapter 10

The way the sun shone is bearing warmth through out my body. But the sweat that pouring down my cheeks as I panting harder gives me an annoying premonition that I can't get out my system.

"Arsy," Haru's impatient and shivering voice rung my ears. "You sure? This place... I can't tell for sure but...scary!" his voice enough for me to hear, it's trying to not be heard by someone or something.

"Go back, will you? Stop...wasting your time with me!" I glare, then to his companion who giggled at the back, shook my head as if with disgust. "And you, too! Screw off!"

It's been awhile and my patience run out. It feel like I'm walking endlessly. The way to the forest stretch about, and I can't help but ponder if I'm being delusion or what.

Perhaps my lack of sleep this past few days?

"Arsy..." Haru stretch to a stop and look horrible around. "Have you hear the gossips? This place...is much scary at daylight!"

I groan to his complain. Though it feel like the shortcut gone, I'm not stupid enough to scream for defeat, or let myself drown for curiousity about some gossups.

This is strange. It happen just after this people of a familiar yet horrible fate follow me around. Who are they anyway? They know about me, and the way the brutes gigle in the back tells me they are beyond comfortable to my presence.

"Hm." Trying to figure out the shortcut, I craned my neck around and not wasting my time with people who I don't even remember about. It's strange that dried twigs scew off by the winds and now feel like incircled us while falling back and forth.

Now that I think about how strange it was, I didn't notice until the moment it build up.

"I...feel like draining, Arsy," Haru continued his pursuit, with his voice cringe me. It was with the tone that trying to seduce something or someone. "It's like how the gossips is all about-"

"Will you shut up?" I hide the frustration through the pleading of my voice.

The brutes laugh out loud that sent shocks waves through my heart. It's like they judge my whole being. My frustration skyrocketed because of that. Gritted my teeth, I sigh with a cold harrump.

Haru didn't even try to stop his minions and busy himself to look scared or something.

Whatever this man trying to do with his life!

"Is it so important, Arsy?" he suddenly sounds curious, gone the shivering of his voice.

"What?" I shaken to the coldness his eyes brought me, as if those of corpses that died a billion times.

"Clearly this place is where danger lurks about," his words distorted, barely able to reach my ears, "however you are unstoppable! The surrounding tells us something...or a warning, yet you won't budge?"

"You're sick!"

I shook my head and turn my back from him. The dried wigs turn to ash and dust hurling about that thrown into wild storm is what meets my eyes.

I stiffened, while Haru continue babbling beside me, and while his brutes of a companion continued laughing, the familiar presence fill and pressure the like of myself around.

"You horde of a sinner!" The voice sent the tempest and hurl the dust in unprecedented fashion.

I step back, my heart in a wild to the wrath I can feel with those words, as if a punishment just begun. Even I wish to enter the forest, it's becomes something of the past. Unreachable and stretch and stretch to prolong the path as if on the verge of collapse.

Not only that but my horror reach the highest heaven. Suddenly the stretch lead the brutes and Haru into the far ahead, leaving me panting and disturb by the sudden gust of winds.

It as if someone...just touch me and embrace my whole system!

"G-go away..." I barely said the words. The winds suffocate me, bring dust to surround me.

"-Arsy!" the only thing I hear from Haru until he gone for good. Or it was I am gone...from their sight?

It's least for my concern as I search for the way out. I can feel I'm being watch. From everywhere, the feeling of eyes and the presence lurking in the gust of winds shiver me.

"O Our Arsy," the whisper that gasp me. "The heaven is blind for punish you this way. Come, come..."

"No..." I shut my eyes, let my mind gone wild.

The whisper is the least of my concern, there at the distant is the shivering giggle...of the unknown.

"He's gone mad!" Exclaim that bring the gust of winds up and down. "Owo! I won! My bet is simply goes to the madness of wind!"

"You think so?" The cold snort stop the giggle in the mid air.

"What?" Even the blink of the eyes shifted the winds and goes side ways.

I barely able to see the ancientness of the place, and the way those people dress, it's scream old and far ahead of time. They are...primodial. Though it swayed about, it barely show their skin, only their neck up above that is white as cloud in its peaceful summer.

"What are you talking, you cold sneezing bastard!?" the shriek of a soft voice stop my heart from even beating.

The feeling of being watch only deepened as the gust of winds made the dust to stand as a wall to cover their very existence.

"Perhaps he trying to say it's not enough, and has to go all out?!" the confuse of another voice that only build the fear inside me.

"But...my wind go all out..."

I pants very hard, try to peek the sky, as if asking for air for the crisis of my heart.

"Yeah," the reply of shock that mix with awe or something, "you go...all out..."

Tears build up inside me, or it is a blood trying to do the opposite? As if my heart pouring its all for the chance of beating, the blood is there to support the pump.

"S-stop-" I cough the hard way, just as the pump of my heart resumed. Yet the giggle deepened, as if from below-ground, trick my mind from go wild..to freeze.

My knees shaken, as if give up of standing tall and wishing for the solid ground. The ground that melted just before my knees touch the solid ground, until it shallow and as if on decaying states, it's unable to catch my weakened being but embrace it.
