Killian wanted to reject the VVIP Access card but he just got released today so he'll be needing a place to stay, at least for the night to pass away.

"Thanks." He simply pocket the Card and turned towards the door then paused turning half with one hand resting on the brass door handle. "Dr. Marcus Williams makes sure she's checked her vitals regularly. You don't need to administer any drugs to her anymore. She's perfectly fine. Do you hear me?"

The titled Physician who had been too confident and full of pride earlier nodded his head in submissive obedience.

"Yes, Master, yes Master.."

"Good." Killian finally turned with one last look at the room and walked out.

Killian arrived at the five Star hotel, granted access with the sleek black card that made the securities stoic expression shifted in reverence. He took the elevator to the VVIP penthouse that was inaccessible to people who could afford it. It is meant for the city movers, the most powerful of the powerful people in the city are the only people entitled into the space. It looked like a paradise dropped right from heaven to Earth though Killian looked at everything without much interest.

Sleek furniture and decorated walls that might have protective panels, expensive reinforced glass that could stop bullets for rich people who valued protection, floor-to-ceiling window that framed the city to the horizon leaving a night view that could take anyone's breath away just by sheer sight.

Killian looked around the place and dropped his bag on the couch. He pulled his clothe and stepped into the bathroom. The warm water Washed down his body, steam curling up from his body and filling the entire space, his eyes caught the misted reflecting mirror, staring at his perfect body— the thick abs, the protruding arm muscles and veins bulging beneath his skin and his perfect set of lower jaw. He looked entirely different from the man the Ashbourne family had washed insults upon two years ago. He had stopped being their puppet the moment they didn't keep their promise of visiting him in the prison and they'll pay for their lies and betrayal.

Killian Dante is Merciless to people who Rip the hands of their helper.

After he finished from the bathroom, he slipped on his plain cloth which had no single flecks of stain and decided to step out to relax his mind. He walked into the private Club of the hotel, stepping into the whispers of attendees in expensive clothes, the tables were veiled with Velvet linens, costly menus and wine afloat. Laughter and clinking of glasses echoed dull inside the lively room. Killian, never interested in any of the drama going on, slipped to an empty table at the corner and sat down.

He grabbed a wine bottle on the table and poured some into the glass. He set down the bottle and picked up the glass cup to drink when he saw a man flicking something from a small bottle the size of a finger into a class cup of wine at the table adjacent to him. He paused, his eyes narrowed. The surroundings were too occupied with their business to notice the perilous act going on. The man turned his back, her burly frame shrouding the act but not entirely. Killian saw him with clarity.

"What's he up to?" He muttered without the slightest shift in his expression, watching the man pocket the bottle in his suit pocket and straightened it, he sat down, grabbed his own clean bottle of wine and sipped it like nothing happened, his back facing Killian.

After a minute, a young beautiful lady walked inside. Her cloth is pristine white blazer that fitted her slim waist, her hips swaying lightly beneath the short white shirt and a black lace leggings covering her legs before hiding under her skirt. Her beauty seemed to shift the air and made everyone gawk, even the gentle beat of the music measured her elegant steps.

Killian thought Cassandra was beautiful but this woman in a league of her own creation; tall, slim, her entire frame meticulously carved by whatever goddess sculpted her for oppression, her skin glowing under the light like it was jellied in honey through the night. The men leered at her, the women stared at her with naked envy. Killian who was hardly impressed by anything was even momentarily captivated, not just by her beauty but that cold and commanding aura around her that made the men stiffen, not daring to take a chance on her.

"Oh, Dammit!" One man leered, his wine glass freezing on his lips. "her hip sway is shaking my brain."

The young woman sat across the man Killian adding a substance to a drink.

"Carelessness kills faster before poison." He hummed. It was none of Killian's business so he looked away, picked up his glass cup and sipped his wine yet he couldn't help but notice her; the way she laughed stiffly, the way her eyes darted away from the young man across from her who was trying his damned-best to engage her, maybe to get a laughter out from her, his laughter was too exaggerated, his gesture bypassing instinctive romance to predatory desperation and the woman looked like she was forced against her decision to be in a place like this.

Then she picked up the glass cup fast like she was already frustrated by the bored jokes. Killian set his own down, observing in a relaxed posture like he was unconcerned.

As the glass touched her lip, he rose to his feet, crossing to their table in gentle stride. He stopped the glass cup at her lips.

"Don't drink it." He said flatly. "That drink is poisoned."

Mr. Whitmore crossed the room to meet Killian, his footsteps heavy against the floor. "Did you just wish my daughter dead? And you— called me a murderer?!" His voice was dangerously low with anger rumbling just beneath the surface. Killian didn't speak. "Filicide! You accused me of Filicide, young man. You're in trouble!" The silence was deafening. The temperature in the room perceptibly below ten degrees. Close to the bed, a nurse dropped the instrument tray as shock gripped her. It clattered to the floor with the frequency that made ear ring and listening impossible. "What—" Dr. William found his voice after silence that lasted ten seconds, still breaking in shock. "— did you just say?" The shock was instantly replaced with Something else. Caution. As though everyone was standing on land mines they weren't aware was under their feet all along. Nurses stepped back with quiet steps in fear and caution. A junior doctor grabbed a syringe with trembling hands, gripping it like a weapon for defense rather than for its primary purpose.
