Chapter 28

It has been two days since he'd taken Sandra and rest to the mall to buy clothes and the funeral was finally here. Adrian had woken up earlier than usual, he was in charge of arranging the seats people were going to be seated at and he also had to put black umbrellas at everyone's chair.

He was already at the funeral site arranging the chairs when Lady Barbara walked into the site in the morning. It was around six o'clock and he wondered why she was here. He however kept as silent as he could just doing his job and acting like he didn't see her.

It was best when he was invisible, she would pick on someone else instead but then when he glanced at her face there was a kind of subtlety to it that made him realize she wasn't here for trouble today. She walked past him and whispered a good morning and Adrian almost jumped out of his own body.
