A Grand Secret

Chapter 3

Earth, a beautiful planet. The two deities sat and enjoyed a feast with their earthling friends. Recently they have defeated the 6th universe in the little tournament of destroyers Lord Champa, Lord Beerus' twin brother, brought up. That's where the Omni king made his appearance. Of course he scolded the two destroyers but he also gave Whis and his older sister, Vados, a message. 'The sleeping twin has awoken.' Zeno said in a riddle. The two siblings had no idea what that meant. Who is this 'twin'? It has been bothering them for quite some time now.

Lately Whis has been getting flashes and visions of a girl, his sister. As far as Whis has noticed, she resembles Korn and is about the same age as him. The visions would sometimes show her and his elder brother or him, Vados and his elder sister. Whis couldn't get her name, no matter how hard he treid. He would never get it. Vados said that she would also get visions of their 'sister' and the two thinks the 'sleeping twin' is her, it just has to be. Whis let out a sigh. This is puzzling and Korn is refusing to tell neither of the two anything. Kusu denied as well. Those two are definitely hiding something. "Whis, are you okay? You have been spacing out." Lord Beerus asked his attendant. "Apologies Lord Beerus. There's juts somethings on my mind." Whis smiled, a fake smile. That's what he got used to. That's one thing he learned and that's to pretend. Pretend everything will be fine, but in reality. It's not. He changed when he lost 6 of his siblings. It broke him, he was the closest to one. It frustrates him that he can't remember their name. Lord Beerus gave Whis a doubtful look. "It seems like my Lord has calmed down from your fight with Goku." Whis said, changing the topic. He found it amusing how Lord Beerus embrace himself. Lord Beerus growled, he definitely doesn't want to talk about it ever again. Whis only laughed at his destroyer

Monaka just left a few minutes ago, claiming he was busy. It's is for the best. If he had to stay any longer, Goku might just end up finding out the truth. Lord Beerus sighed, knowing Whis is more on the stubborn side and won't talk about it. "Hey Whis. I have been getting a lot of weird dreams lately." Lord Beerus brought up. The sun was already beginnings to set over the horizon, casting its beautiful orange glow. "And what's that about?" Whis asked. Interested. Vegeta and Goku also seemed interested with this topic. "I've been dreaming about a girl, identical to your older brother. It's always the same dream. I, Champa and a third destroyer would always be trained by the three of you. She seemed on a totally different level than you and Vados. I've suspected that the third destroyer is hers. She had a light blue dress with a silver staff and her hair teid up in a high ponytail. Her hair style looked like a mixture of Vados' and Korn's. The symbol was: ◆

And... and... I heard the other destroyers call her name." Lord Beerus said. Hesitant at the last part. This definitely got Whis' attention. "What was it?" Whis asked. Hoping it would help him solve this. Lord Beerus' description described her spot on. "I know it starts wit an 'A'. I couldn't hear what the destroyer said." Lord Beerus admitted. "What did this destroyer look like?" Goku asked, changing it from the needed topic. "I couldn't see the destroyer Goku, it's like the destroyer was wiped from my memories. All I saw was a shadowy figure and I knew it was a destroyer because of their attire and their devine ki." Lord Beerus said, annoyed at the poor saiyan. Whis was deep in though, trying to figure out her name. Maybe he and Vados should try and get more information from their older brother.

"Whis, your spacing out again." Lord Beerus commented boredly. Whis rolled his eyes at the cat. It was completely dark now. The stars were shining brightly. Whis always adored it to gaze at them. That's when a vision popped up. He and the girl, he should really give her a name. His elder sister, sat underneath the stars on Lord Beerus' planet. She pointed out constellation and their names. Just as fast the vision has came, it disappeared. Whis blinked in confusion for a moment then. "Apologies my lord." Whis replied to Beerus' unanswered comment. "Does it have to do with what Lord Beerus said or what that Zeno guy said?" Goku asked like the stupid idiot he is. Vegeta slapped him over the head. Whis for one split second lost his composure. Lord Beerus raised a brow at the shocked Angel. "Didn't anyone teach you not to eavesdrop!" Whis scolded him, making up for the opening in his defenses. "No. I heard what Grand Zeno said. What is this sleeping twin?" He asked. Lord Beerus gave his attendant a questionable look. Vegeta face palmed. "That couns as eavesdropping!" He shouted at the confused saiyan. Goku laughed nervously. Whis cleared his throat, the attention was now on him. "Vados and I suspect that the twin is my elder sister which we had many visions of. As far as we both had figured out, she's our eldest brother's twin." Whis said calmly.

"Wow. You had more siblings?" Goku asked. "Of course. We were once 18. I can't remember anything about them for some reason and my two eldest siblings refuses to say anything abou this visions we're having. They are definitely hiding something." Whis explained, he was in though again. "Lord Beerus said her name starts with an 'A'. That's another clue that could help." Vegeta said. "Your correct but there's too many people with a name starting with an 'A'. It'd not a reliable clue yet." Whis added. The other three nodded their head. "Annie?" Goku asked. Everyone looked at him as id he's on drugs. "Okay. Okay. Not the best guess." The saiyan admitted. A thick silence filled the air. "Lord Beerus, we should get going. It's almost time for your nap." Whis reminded the destroyer. At that moment Lord Beerus yawned. "See you two tomorrow. Farewell." Whis smiled to the saiyans. Lord Beerus palace his hand on the tall Angel's back and they blasted off.

Traveling through space, Whis thought of her name. The silence was comfortable between the two. After a moment as they went more to the heart of the Milky way. Whis senced an energy. It was devine. But not a kai or destroyer. He came to a halt and a star had his attention. Whis stared at it intensly, the star had a orange color. It definitely did look suspicious. "Whis. What's the matter now? I want to sleep!" Lord Beerus complained. "Apologies Lord Beerus. I thought I senced a devine energy." Whis said. "I senced it too." Lord Beerus said but was too tired to say anything else. That's when it popped in Whis' mind. The very thing he has wondered ever since the end of little tournament between the 6th and 7th universe. He remembered her name now...

"Akila." He said to himself. Suddenly he wondered why would his father and two older siblings hide this from them? Why did the Omni king give them this very confusing clue to figure it out? Is there a possibility that the three older Angels are hiding something to the rest? Could it be that Grand Minister, Korn and Kusu are hiding a secret they want no one to find out? This all makes no sence to him. Why would his family lie to him?
