A Talented Son-in-Law

"What the fuck are you doing!"

"I'm sorry, Sir. I promise this is the last mistake I made," Stefan answered. But instead of receiving forgiveness, Stefan is pushed around by his boss and the packages he's about to deliver fall apart.

Stefan recently became unfocused in his work as a courier. That's because there are a lot of internal problems between him and his wife. But Stefan knew that he shouldn't bring those problems to work.

"I'll cut your salary!"

"Please, don't cut my salary this month. I will pay for the losses, but it will be next month. Because this month I have a lot of needs," Stefan begged.

But his boss, who was known for being stingy and fierce, didn't listen to Stefan's request. He threw the envelope filled with Stefan's salary. "If you don't want to, then you can stop working and don't come here tomorrow."

Stefan only sighed. This was the job he got after being unemployed for six months after marrying his wife, Dasha.

Although a job as a courier wasn't something Stefan could be proud of in front of his wife who was a successful businesswoman, at least Stefan didn't ask his wife for money because he was quite self-aware.

Stefan lives in his wife's house, and he can't afford Dasha's very expensive needs. The only thing Stefan can do is not ask for money and do the housework after work.

There was no maid at his wife's house, so Stefan had to do all the housework. He didn't mind that because Stefan realized his wife had worked very hard.

Stefan counted the amount of money he received on this payday, and it was half less than it should have been. Though Stefan wanted to buy a gift for Dasha.

Today is Dasha's birthday and Stefan wants to give her a gift even though it's not too expensive. Stefan still believed that Dasha would appreciate whatever he gave her from his own efforts. Because so far Dasha has never wanted anything from Stefan.

Stefan looked at his watch. "In two hours she'll be home." So Stefan hurried to get all his work done.

There were a lot of packages being delivered today because of Christmas. And Stefan accidentally sent one package to the wrong address but he confirmed it. However, his boss still didn't accept it.

After making sure everything was in place, Stefan closed the shop. He rushed to the florist to buy his wife the red roses she loved so much.

"How much are these flowers?" Stefan asked the florist after his order was placed.

"65.9 Euro in total, Sir. This includes the beautiful pot."

"This flower is like Dasha, so pretty," he murmured. Stefan took his money out of his wallet. The amount in Stefan's wallet was pathetic. He didn't even know if it would be enough to buy a birthday cake.

So Stefan had to go around many shops until he found the right one to buy Dasha's birthday cake.

Stefan added decorations to the birthday cake when he got home. Not only that, Stefan also decorated the family room with some flowers in the yard.

Stefan also cooked Dasha's favorite food because it was a special day. So Stefan wanted to celebrate in earnest to make Dasha happy. He wanted to make sure that Dasha didn't feel like she lacked love because she left her parents' house and decided to live with Stefan.

All preparations complete, Stefan decided to take a shower and get ready to welcome Dasha. He also deliberately didn't tell Dasha about his early arrival from work.

Today Stefan wanted to make a romantic moment with Dasha. He wants to convince Dasha about having children. But Stefan will not insist if Dasha is not ready, he can wait any longer.

Stefan also decorated their room, changed the sheets, and prepared a wine. He also turned off the lights so she would think Stefan hadn't come home yet. Stefan couldn't wait to see Dasha's reaction to the surprise he had prepared.

Before going into the bathroom, Stefan put the ring he was going to give to Dasha as a birthday present into the drawer. "I hope you love it. Although this ring is not as expensive as the one you have, I hope you see my hard work in it. I want our relationship to last, Dasha. You're the only one who makes me stay here, only you."

A few minutes later, Stefan heard the sound of someone laughing, but it wasn't Dasha. So he turned off the faucet. He put on clothes quickly.

Stefan listened carefully until he finally figured out that it was a man's voice.

Stefan felt curious because there was no one in this house except him and Dasha. They never had guests because Dasha didn't like to receive guests at home. So Stefan thought it was a thief.

Stefan brought a baseball stick with him just in case. Stefan couldn't fight well, but he had to be ready to be Dasha's protector no matter what. Even if his life is at stake, Stefan will do it as long as Dasha is okay. His sincere love for Dasha is that genuine.

Stefan sneaks around and hears the man's voice getting louder. Then Stefan also began to hear Dasha's voice. Not the sound of laughter, but the sound of Dasha moaning.

Stefan's mind traveled far and wide. Stefan was very afraid that something would happen to Dasha. That's why he immediately broke out into the garage, where the sound was coming from.

Stefan immediately turned on the lights so he can see clearly the condition of the garage.

Instead of finding the villain who was trapping Dasha, Stefan found Dasha being intimate with a man in a car that was Stefan's wedding present to Dasha.

They looked deeply into each other's eyes. It broke Stefan's heart. He thought his wife is a loyal and faithful person, but what he saw in this moment, made him very disappointed.
