Chapter 8.

POV. The plot

He looked in disbelief at his father and hugged him.

"They had not been closed ever since he became a teenager and grew independent from the family.

"But in the unfamiliar surroundings of kedran, he felt a close familiarity with him. The past days had been crazy and he was gald to find a connection to his past.

He looked up to see his father's stunned face. Feeling awkward, he disengage his hands around him and began questioning him.

How are you here? There were supposed to send only Fatima, he asked.

“I thought you were dead, Fatima had be depressed and angry at me due to the argument we had when we last saw you.

"It was yesterday I heard from a informer that a certain Hassan was here from Earth, his father said with emotions in his voice.

“Informer? Hassan asked.

His father raised his fingers to his lips then cocked his ears to the side, obviously listening for movement outside.

"Hassan was surprised seen him dressed as a guard.

Echoing footsteps bounced of the walls of the underground lair they were and seemed to be coming towards them.

He backed up to the wall in fright wondering why Papa seemed relaxed with the developing event.

Two guards came into view, he quickly carried a metal rock from the ground, he resolved not to go down without a fight.

He was shocked when Papa shocked their hands in turn and greeted them with familiarity.

They removed their helmet slowly and held it in their hands.

They were both from Miky way system; he knew this because had seen some of the trainees from there with similar features though he did not recognize their planet.

“Papa what is this? He asked backing away slowly.

“Relax they're with us, his father said, extending his hands to him.

“With us? How I don't understand, explain.

“We're planning to escape kedran, we have people in high places who are planing to overthrow the Emperor and free us.

"I came to carry you and your sister from here, there is a place in the underground system where a lot of us are hiding anticipating the overthrow of the government, his father said with hope in his eyes as he gazed at him.

“How do we know we can trust them? He said, looking over at the two guards.

“Son, some of us also have kids here, I don't like working alone with people personally, but if it's gets me my daughter, then i will, one of the guard said gruffly while the other nodded and patted him on the back.

“We don't have much time, so let quickly go over the details, his father said, pulling out a map from his side.

He spread it on the floor and the other squat beside him to see it.

“This is a blueprint of the institute. As you can see they're many tunnels leading outside, but they're are being guarded.

Except this one beneath the girls dormitory building. It is accessible only if someone opens it from the inside. It is abounded so no one will notice it, his father said looking at him.

He turned to see the two guards also looking at him.

“What? Why are you all…his voice trailed off as it hit him. You want Fatima to open the door right?.

His father nodded grimly.

“No way, we're not involving her in this what if she gets caught? he said, shock his father was even considering the idea.

“We don't have anyone working for us in the female dormitory and I've carefully gone over the plan, she's my daughter; his father said defensively.

Sometimes the best plan fail, look at me being hunted for now, he said.

“You were careless, we'll fix your mistake. Tion here will make sure his seen before we go, that way they won't suspect the trainees.

"You've to lay low for now, no more ninja stunts his father said sternly.

“Find a way to deliver the message to your sister, we move the day after tomorrow at 8:pm.

Everything depends on her opening the door, so we go with the hope that she had already done so earlier that day.

He turned to the two guards behind him. This are Tion and Bogar, if you encounter any difficulty, go to them as discreet as possible.

"They're stationed at the main hall entrance. There's a camera they took so don't get friendly around them in the hall.

"We've gone over everything at our end, there's no time to discuss all that with you, just lay low for the main time and if Allah wills, we'll succeed; his father said.

He wrapped up the map and wrapped it inside, the two guards put on their helmet back on and prepared to leave.

“Wait, Hassan said, looking at Tion, I threw away my armour and sword so if you want to convince them you're the culprit, you'll have to do the same.

His father nodded in admiration.

“That was thoughtful of you, wait here for 5 minutes, when the guards see Tion, they'll deploy all the guards in pursuit of him. That will be your chance to go back to your dormitory be careful.
