CHAPTER 116

Before ultimately deciding to speak once more, Aamon glanced at him for a considerable amount of time before finally deciding to speak.

“Your mouth keeps denying that despite how your body appears to betray you.” remarked Aamon.

The knowledge that Aamon appeared to have doubts about Rustan even up to this time caused an instant shudder to run down Rustan's spine.

In his mind, he had the impression that Aamon had surrounded him in a humiliating manner. As a result of his vigilant and icy blue gaze, Rustan felt a sensation of anxiety.

"Aamon, I was unaware that the arena was within the scope of your gazes or the parameters of your domain." Rustan, on the other hand, responded, so preventing Aamon from continuing his interrogation of him in the manner that was intended.

And because Rustan does, in fact, have a point, Aamon granted this opportunity for Rustan to be spared by taking a step back, entirely stopping his advances, and giving him the opportunity to move on.
