The black smoke from the explosion hung thick in the cold air. Quinn ran through the falling dust and fire. His eyes were locked onto the large metal doors ahead. Captain Korr walked down the heavy metal walls of the Iron Peak. The cold wind blew snow into his face, but he did not care. He was angry. Preceptor Vane told him not to worry, but Korr was a soldier. He did not trust luck. He only trusted thick steel and sharp weapons."Move faster!" Captain Korr yelled at a group of workers in grey coats.The workers carried heavy iron plates. They pushed the plates against the small side doors of the fortress."Weld them shut!" Korr ordered.
