Questions left Unanswered

Walker scoffed, shoved his hands into his pants pockets, he wasn’t so surprised that Adonis was this desperate. The rich always think everything is about money, although it’s fairly true, but not to him.

“I’m more loyal than you think, Adonis. Loyalty comes first,” Walker smiled and continued walking to the exit of the waiting room.

“You’re gonna lose your job, Walker, I promise you; I’ll see to that,” Adonis called out angrily, he dragged his tie down and folded his hands into a fist. If there was a table or something in front of him he’d have smashed it out of anger.

He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself, he had to hold on till Lilian woke up, she was going to tell him how she got pregnant, whether she lied or not.

He wanted to hear it, she was history already; but he had to know if she was really using him.
