The Grand Sect Tournament’s jade arena gleamed under the noonday sun. The previous battle still echoed in the minds of the sect.

Kai defeated Yan Lu, one of the inner sect’s famed prodigies. The whispers of disbelief had not settled when the announcer’s voice shook the mountain again.

“The next match… Kai Lin of the outer sect versus Lin Sha of the inner sect!”

The crowd erupted.

“Lin Sha?”

“Li Shen’s right hand! He’s the one who crushes opponents without mercy.”

Li Shen rose from his seat in a sharp and mocking voice.

“Kai Lin. You humiliated my sect brother Yan Lu, but now… I will erase you. Remember, trash, when Lin Sha fights, he doesn’t leave scraps behind.”
