Gale-force winds lashed against Vedic’s face as he plummeted from the summit of the crumbling skyscraper. Glancing sideways, he saw Sanan maneuvering through the air, her black gown billowing like the wings of a bat. They weren't just falling; they were caught in the grip of an artificial gravitational pull generated by entities in the sky. Vedic reached out and snagged Sanan by the waist, pulling her flush against him amidst a swirling vortex of concrete debris.

"Hold on tight!" Vedic roared over the thunderous howl of the wind.

Sanan didn't look the least bit frightened. Instead, she leaned her head against Vedic’s chest with a defiant smirk. "Don't you dare let me fall alone, you idiot glitch. If we’re going down, at least make sure we stick the most ridiculous landing possible!"

Vedic let out a booming laugh. In the shadow of certain death, he had never felt more alive. He tapped into the final glitch capability remaining in his system. He didn't use it to fly, but rather to manipulate the very texture of the air around them. He transmuted the dense atmosphere into a cluster of giant, floating foam mattresses that hovered miraculously in their path.

"Check this out!" Vedic shouted.

Their bodies slammed into the improvised padding that had materialized out of thin air. They bounced off the foam and tumbled onto the balcony of a still-standing structure, right in the heart of the forbidden forest, an area choked with toxic mist. Hans, who had somehow beaten them there, was already standing on the terrace, holding a tray of steaming tea. He looked utterly out of place against the backdrop of the war raging in the heavens.

"You’re five seconds late," Hans remarked flatly, proffering a teacup. "I’ve been waiting for you since this morning."

Vedic scrambled to his feet, gasping for breath, and shot Hans a piercing glare. Ignoring the tea, he lunged forward and seized the collar of the man’s outfit, which had shifted from his clown persona back into a formal uniform. "Explain yourself, Hans! What’s the deal with that black pyramid? And why are thousands of monsters pouring out of it like they’re storming a mall?"

Hans merely gave an indifferent shrug. "It’s just routine maintenance. This world is cluttered with data junk, so the system owners decided to trigger a hard reset. You two are the most troublesome anomalies of the lot, so they dispatched an elite squad to forcibly reformat your minds."

Sanan stood beside Vedic, her face flushed with fury. She unsheathed her sword, which was once again radiating a brilliant light. "Brainwashing? I’ll lop off the head of anyone who even thinks about touching what’s inside my skull."

Suddenly, the surrounding forest began to shudder. The thick fog blanketing the area bled into a deep crimson. Faceless elite monsters clad in silver armor emerged from the shadows of the trees. They had no features, only flat masks emblazoned with flickering system insignias.

"Welcome to the Forbidden Forest Dungeon," Hans said, taking a casual sip of his tea. "This is where you’ll be confined until the cleanup process is complete. And quite frankly, these monsters have a real chip on their shoulder when it comes to people with bad manners."

Vedic stared at the monsters. Through his cosmic vision, he could read their stats. Their levels far exceeded anything he had ever encountered. Yet, at that same moment, he felt a strange prickling sensation on his skin. A system notification flashed in a brilliant gold he hadn't seen since they exited the simulation.

[SECRET MISSION: EXECUTE AN EROTIC UNION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BATTLEFIELD. REWARD: SYSTEM-DESTRUCTION POWER]

Vedic read the prompt and nearly choked on his own spit. He glanced at Sanan, who appeared to be reading the same message on her private interface. Her face instantly turned a deep shade of scarlet, caught somewhere between utter embarrassment and intense desire.

"This system literally has nothing better to do than humiliate us!" Sanan screamed at the sky.

Vedic let out a ridiculous chuckle. He stepped forward, allowing the monsters to close their circle around them. "Hey, didn’t you guys hear the system? We’re on a very important mission here. Could you give us five minutes?"

The monsters froze. They seemed bewildered by the conflicting system commands. It was the opening Vedic needed. He grabbed Sanan’s hand and pulled her body flush against his until there was no daylight between them. Without hesitation, he pressed his lips to hers in a demanding kiss, right in front of dozens of monsters who could only stand there, paralyzed and confused.

The energy generated by their kiss was staggering. A white radiance erupted from their skin, sweeping through the forest in a shockwave that reduced the surrounding trees to digital dust. The monsters were hurled in every direction like plastic toys caught in a hurricane.

Vedic broke the kiss, his breath coming in ragged gasps. He looked at the monsters, who were now sprawled across the ground in utterly helpless, comical positions. Some were even piled on top of one another in humiliating poses.

"That... actually worked?" Vedic asked, his voice laced with disbelief.

Sanan stared at her hands, which were now shimmering with a golden light. She looked deeply satisfied. "It’s true, then. This system is built on a foundation of truly nauseating logic. The more absurd the situation, the more power we gain."

Hans offered a slow, rhythmic applause behind them. "Impressive. Truly remarkable. I’ve never seen anyone resort to such intimacy to take down a system elite squad."

Vedic turned toward Hans with a cocky smirk. He walked up to the man and kicked the tea tray, shattering it into a million pieces. "Enough with the theatrics, Hans. Hand over the artifact you’ve got hidden in this forest, or you’re going to be the next pile of digital scrap."

Hans sighed, reaching into his coat pocket to produce an ancient wooden box bound by chains of light. "This is the key to the core of the black pyramid. But remember, once you open this, you won’t just be fighting the system. You’ll be fighting reality itself."

Vedic took the box. As his fingers brushed its surface, a strange vibration rippled through his entire body. It felt as though the entire world around him was beginning to freeze in place.

Suddenly, from the shadows of the forest, a woman in familiar black armor emerged. It was the same woman who had brought down the building they were standing on earlier. She walked with an elegant stride, the sword in her hand radiating a very real aura of destruction.

"You will never make it there," the woman said, her voice ice-cold.

Vedic looked at the woman, then at Sanan. He knew the real battle was only just beginning. He prepared to open the box, but the moment he yanked on the chains of light, the entire forest vanished, replaced by a vast, pristine white void. The monsters, Hans, and even the woman were gone in an instant.

Only Vedic and Sanan remained in the center of the endless white room. A booming, heavy voice echoed from every direction, forcing them both to their knees under the weight of crushing gravity.

"Welcome to the isolation chamber," the voice boomed. "Here, there is no love, no lust, and no glitches. There is only obedience."

Sanan tried to stand, but her legs refused to move. She looked at Vedic with a gaze full of desperation. "Vedic, what’s happening? Why can’t I feel the energy?"

Vedic tried to summon the system, but only a single message appeared before his eyes.

[SYSTEM UNDERGOING TOTAL RECONSTRUCTION. PLEASE WAIT 99 YEARS.]

Vedic stared upward, toward the endless, featureless white sky.

He knew they had just been lured into a pocket of time with no way out. But before he could even think about giving up, he felt Sanan’s hand sliding around his waist.

"Vedic," Sanan whispered against the crushing weight of the gravity. "If we are going to be trapped here for ninety-nine years, we might as well make every second count."

Vedic looked at Sanan, who wore a mischievous smirk despite the agony etched on her face from the pressure. He realized that as long as Sanan was by his side, he would never truly surrender to any system. However, just as they were preparing to follow through with their plan, a door materialized in front of them.

The door creaked open slowly, and from within emerged someone they never expected to see. It was Vedic, but not the version of himself they had encountered before. This Vedic wore holy white robes and carried a massive ledger.

"Pardon the interruption," the man said politely. "But I am here to edit the script of your lives."

Vedic stared at the man, then glanced at the wooden box in his hand, which was now beginning to emit a blinding, brilliant blue light. He realized one thing: they were no longer dealing with a system; they were dealing with the scriptwriter of their own world.

"Who are you?" Vedic asked, his voice trembling violently.

The man offered a faint smile. "I am the one who decides whether this chapter ends right here or continues in a way that is far more humiliating for the both of you."

Vedic did not answer. He grabbed Sanan’s hand and prepared to leap into the blue light pouring from the wooden box, not caring where it might lead them. But as he went to jump, the man in the white robes grabbed his collar and held them firmly in place.

"It is not time yet," the man whispered into Vedic’s ear.

The man then snapped his fingers, and instantly the entire white room shattered like glass. The two of them were hurled outward, falling toward a world that was engulfed in flames, while the system notification before Vedic’s eyes changed into a terrifying message.

[WORLD RESET INITIATED: EXISTENCE DELETION PROCESS WILL COMPLETE IN 3 SECONDS]

Vedic looked at Sanan one last time before everything went dark, only to realize that Sanan’s hand was no longer in his grasp. Before him, the figure in the white robes had already vanished, leaving the two of them alone in the middle of a collapsing void spiraling toward total destruction.

The figure in the chair had a face identical to Vedic’s. The jawline was the same, the gaze was the same, and there was even the exact same small scar on his left eyebrow. The man crossed his legs casually, watching Vedic and Sanan with a smile that made their skin crawl. Sanan, usually fierce, stood frozen, her nails digging into Vedic's arm as she gripped him."What is the meaning of this?" Vedic asked, his voice trembling. He tried to step back, but his feet felt as though they were bolted to the cold marble floor. "I am Vedic. I'm the one standing here. So who are you? Are you some kind of clone from a system experiment?"The man laughed. His voice sounded like the smooth, grand friction of fine metal. He stood up slowly, smoothing out his black suit, an outfit that looked far too luxurious and out of place for such a chaotic world. "I'm no clone. I am the final result of everything you’ve been through. I am the Vedic from a timeline that successfully erased the boundaries between

"1!" The system's voice echoed through Vedic’s fading consciousness. Vedic refused to let himself just vanish. In the final second, as the light particles on his arm were nearly gone, he summoned every last bit of his remaining glitch energy. He didn't try to fight the system with brute force; instead, he manipulated the base code of the deletion command itself. With the touch of his few remaining fingers, he altered the "Delete" command to "Delay."A brilliant burst of purple digital energy exploded within the room. Hans, who had been smiling smugly, widened his eyes in shock. The device in his hand detonated, sending shards flying into his face. "What the hell did you do?" Hans screamed, his calm demeanor shattered. He looked ridiculous, his hair half-scorched from the small explosion.Vedic felt his body materialize again, though he was incredibly weak. He collapsed into the lap of Sanan, who was still half-naked from the nearly completed deletion process. Sanan was gasping for a

"This is the end," the Fixer repeated tonelessly. Her white blade pressed coldly against Vedic’s pulse.Vedic swallowed hard. The chill of the metal seeped into his nerves. He could feel Sanan holding his breath behind him. A heavy, suffocating silence settled over the ruined remains of the dungeon."The end of what?" Vedic asked, forcing a dry chuckle. "I was just starting to get comfortable with all this chaos. You’re a little late to the party, Lady in White."The woman didn't respond. Her vacant eyes didn't see Vedic as a person, but rather as a line of corrupted code that needed to be purged. Sanan slowly rose from the rubble, wiping a smudge of blood from the corner of his lip with his thumb. A strange flicker of fury and desire danced in his eyes as he stared at the Fixer."Let him go," Sanan ordered, his voice low and heavy with authority. The Fixer didn't even look at him. "Sanan, you have been infected by this anomaly. You have allowed yourself to be defiled by the low-level

  • Chapter 4: The First 'Impossible' Dungeon

The ruins didn't fall like ordinary stones. Chunks of walls and concrete pillars hovered in the air, distorted by gravity that Vedic had just scrambled. The rival guild soldiers, who had been standing so arrogantly moments ago, were now shell-shocked. Hans’s ice-cold expression turned deathly pale as he saw his men trapped in Vedic’s makeshift anomaly zone."What are you doing, you idiot!" Hans screamed, trying to pull his feet free from a floor that had suddenly turned into liquid holograms. "Stop this right now!"Vedic laughed. His voice echoed through the chaos, sounding liberated and slightly deranged. He turned to Sanan, who stood right beside him, watching him with a look of admiration mixed with a certain hunger."You see that, Sanan?" Vedic asked, pointing at Hans, who was flailing through the air like a fish out of water. "The system said I should go for dramatic effect. I think this is dramatic enough to get them off our backs."Sanan stepped forward, her slender fingers str

Vedic had no choice but to throw himself toward Sanan. The moment his palm made contact with the skin of her neck, a jolt of searing static electricity scorched his nerves. The blade of light the system shadow had swung shattered instantly, dissolving into a cloud of digital dust. Sanan let out a long, shuddering sigh, a sound that was unmistakably erotic amidst the thunder of the crumbling room. Her golden eyes widened, then softened as Vedic's glitch energy flooded into her, neutralizing the frigid curse that had been tormenting her for so long."Ah, so that is how it feels," Sanan whispered, closing her eyes. She pulled Vedic closer until their chests collided. "It is true then; you are the cure and the addiction I have been searching for among millions of pieces of trash."Vedic felt like his brain was short-circuiting. He was well aware they were on the brink of death, but the sensation of Sanan's dominant touch made him lose focus. "Wait, this is hardly the time for a romantic s
