Sophia’s heart pounded as she stepped closer to Adrian. Her eyes searched his face, half afraid of what she might see there.

“Adrian… are you sure of what you’re saying?” she asked softly, her voice trembling with disbelief.

Adrian’s expression remained calm, unreadable. He looked at Derrick’s frail body, then back at her. “There’s only one way to find out,” he said quietly.

He reached into his black leather bag and carefully pulled out a small vial.

The liquid inside had a red-golden colour.

It seemed as if the medicine was alive.

The room was suddenly filled with a strange, subtle hum, as if the air itself recognized its power.

For a moment, no one spoke.

Then chaos erupted.

The lead doctor’s face twisted with outrage. “You’ve got to be kidding me!” he barked. “You expect us to believe that glowing nonsense will cure him?!”

Another doctor threw up his hands. “This is insane! You’ll kill him before the cancer does!”
