Immediately, a massive flood of energy and information slammed into Adrian’s mind.

Just when he thought his head would explode, a cooling stream of energy flowed gently from his forehead, slowly spreading through his brain, limbs, organs, blood, muscles, and bones ...

... until his entire body was bathed in a miraculous, soothing coolness.

To Adrian, it was like stepping into a magical dream.

Even more bewildering, he felt no pain anymore—

Not from the bone marrow donation that had tortured him so far, nor the injuries Lucian and Isabelle left behind.

Instead, a strange, soothing numbness spread through him.

What’s happening ...?

He struggled to open his eyes or move his fingers, but his body wouldn’t respond.

As the pressure faded, Adrian found his mind was flooded with strange knowledge: legendary energy techniques, powerful martial arts, miraculous medical skills, cursecraft, prophecy, alchemy ...

All recorded in a book titled Inheritance of Terra's Will, now etched into his soul.

He realized with a start—

He had come across a once-in-a-lifetime miracle!

But before he could even rejoice, another violent force erupted from his abdomen, surging through his veins like a tidal wave.

The pressure was unbearable—earth-shattering, soul-crushing.

Adrian shivered violently.

So... opportunity comes with deadly risks!

Just as he thought he was about to be consumed by this violent energy, a sweet, intoxicating fragrance filled his nostrils.

Then, cold, tender lips brushed against his.

A smooth, naked body pressed intimately against him.

Who—?!

Before his mind could work out, a cool tongue entwined with his.

Plump, soft breasts crushed against his burning chest, their coolness seeping into his fevered flesh.

Though he couldn't move, couldn't open his eyes, Adrian’s body responded instinctively, greedily matching the woman’s urgent rhythm.

The room heated up. Passionate moans filled the space.

Slowly, no matter who this woman was, her cooling aura calmed the fire within him.

Finally, with one last, powerful release, Adrian’s mind went blank and he passed out.

He knew... the danger... had passed.

Adrian felt a slight ache at the back of his skull as his consciousness slowly came back.

For a moment, it felt like he had just woken up from a long, endless dream.

His fingers twitched, brushing against soft skin and elastic flesh instead of the hard solid floor.

That feeling ... size C or D?

Adrian’s eyes snapped open.

The sight before him surprised him.

A woman, stunningly beautiful, lay on top of him.

Her bare body was intertwined tightly with his.

Adrian swallowed hard, trying to suppress the impulse.

The woman’s luminous skin glowed.

Her long, silky hair cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall.

She was extremely beautiful.

So it wasn’t a dream after all?!

And then, she stirred.

Her eyes fluttered as she tried to make sense of her surroundings, and her eyes widened in terror as soon as they locked onto his.

"What the fuck did you do to me?"

Sophia Aldridge gasped and scrambled back, clutching the sheets to her chest and swinging a towel at Adrian.

"And who the hell are you?!"

Her voice trembled.

"You bastard, you raped me!"

Adrian’s expression remained calm.

If it had been the old him, the man who had once cared too much, and hesitated too often.

That Adrian might have stammered, eager to explain.

But gone was his old self.

He said slowly and calmly, "I don't know how you found your way here... But you would have died if it wasn’t for me."

"You should be thanking me."

Money?"Ashra let out a soft laugh.“If money could buy this,” she said, brushing her thumb over the glowing cracks, “I would have sold it years ago.”She stepped closer, cloak shifting like a living shadow.“I want a favor.”Malvin blinked. “A… favor?”Ashra nodded slowly. “A day will come when I will need you. When I call you, you must obey.”Her pale eyes darkened. “No excuses. You will do exactly as I say.”Malvin swallowed hard. “That’s it? You want a favor?”Ashra tilted her head. “You must sign with your blood.”Malvin’s heart stuttered. “W-What?”Ashra’s voice dropped to a chilling whisper.“Swear it. With your blood. A binding covenant.”Malvin took one step back.People

  • CHAPTER 300

Ashra’s pale eyes tracked Malvin like a predator reading its prey.Malvin cleared his throat, trying to steady his voice. “I came because… I need something lethal. Something strong enough to kill a man. Not an ordinary man, a monster. His name is Zane.”The moment the name left his tongue, Ashra’s expression shifted. She had heard that name before. She slowly sat upright in the chair.“Zane…” she murmured. “Lightning-born.”Malvin blinked. “Y-you know him?”Ashra leaned back slightly, crossing one leg over the other. “I know far more than you do. And if you came here seeking a way to kill him,” she raised a brow, “you’re wasting your time.”Malvin’s face tightened. “What do you mean?”Ashra stood slowly, her cloak whispering across the stone floor. Her pale silver hair caught the blue light of the underground chamber.“Zane cannot be killed,” she said simply.Malvin laughed once, an ugly, strained sound. “Th-That’s ridiculous. Everything can be killed....”She cut him off with a sharp

  • CHAPTER 299

Malvin grabbed at Lucien’s boot as the duke’s son turned away. “Wait—please!” he begged, voice raw. “If I betray you, kill me. Drive a blade through my heart. I swear I’ll be loyal.”Lucien paused, the sunlight cutting the edge of his profile. He did not smile. He did not pity. He simply looked at Malvin as a man looks at an insect.“Words are cheap, I want proof.Malvin’s chest heaved as he saw an opportunity. “Name it. Anything. I’ll do it. Give me a task I can finish. A chance is all I am asking for.”Lucien turned slowly. His coat whispered against the car as he moved. “Prove it,” he said. “Bring me Zane’s head. Kill the man who moves like lightning and I will finally trust you.”For a second everything in Malvin’s world narrowed to that one order. The name hit him like ice. His mouth went dry. “That’s impossible,” he croaked. “You saw him... he tore your men apart like paper. He’s not just a man. He is a storm. His skin can’t be pierced. His speed .. there’s nothing I can do. How

He fought at first, then stopped when heavy fists took over.“Let me speak to your boss!” Malvin begged, voice high with panic. “He must hear me, this is important!”The men ignored him. They hauled him to the center of the road and threw him down. Lucien watched from his car, unmoved. He lifted a hand and a soldier moved forward and planted a sword at Malvin’s throat. Six more blades made of pure kissed Malvin’s skin.Malvin's blood ran cold.Lucien came down slowly from his car.A man stepped in closer, he had just witnessed his colleagues being slaughtered like animals and he was hungry for blood. “Shall we finish him, sir?”Lucien’s face was unreadable,

The screen lit up, showing security footage from the cooking competition. The video was not clear but it showed a shadowy figure crouched near Adrian’s cooking station minutes before the explosion.Sophia leaned forward, her heart pounding. “Is that...?”Adrian zoomed in. “Someone tampered with the gas in my station and caused the explosion,” he said coldly. He turned, eyes locking on Malvin. “I know it was you, Malvin.”The words hit like thunder.Malvin blinked, frozen for a second and then his mouth fell open, his face twisting in outrage. “What?” he cried, his voice cracking. “You’re accusing me?”Adrian didn’t blink. “You were behind the curtains throughout, don't deny it, you caused the explosion from the footage I kn
