Vampire's trap

Zaiden rested for a night to plan everything, Curtis and he flew towards Mexico. They both entered a five star restaurant dressed casually as tourists, no doubt they had to conceal their identity. And for the particular reason they both used fake names, creating farce passports wasn't a big deal for him.

Everyone was within the snap of his fingers and especially when his company had been investing a big chunk in the research department. Zaiden Rivers was well aware how to use money and connections of his rich father after his death.  They both asked for a table for three people and the waitress approached them to take the order.

"Two fresh orange juices." Curtis replied in Mexican language effortlessly. After the waitress was gone Curtis watched her keenly until she vanished out of his sight. Although he was having the kid sitting in front of him, it didn't bother him to behave.

Curtis' eyes darted on the round butt of the waitress while she went away, Zaiden cast a look at his lustful face and then turned his head to see the source. 'Why are his ears suddenly red?' He could not comprehend why Curtis' behaviour and gait suddenly became different.

No matter how skilled he was in technology and science, Zaiden never got to interact with women since his mother went missing after his father’s death. Zaiden Rivers turned his head and tapped on the table gently to snag Curtis' attention, who finally managed to hold his desires back into the cylinder!

'Oh shit! I shouldn't teach him all this nasty stuff.' Curtis stared at him without blinking and his stern face didn't change expressions. 'He is still a kid and young enough not to focus on these things.' Curtis scolded himself inwardly upon the blunder he committed which could possibly corrupt the young brain. Well, wasn't Zaiden already past the initial seed of corruption?

"Where is he?" He slumped back in the chair asking Curtis who uncovered the Rolex under his cuff to calculate the timing.

"He should be here in 5 minutes and 10 seconds precisely." He narrated the speculations which never had been wrong. Zaiden skimmed his gaze around and saw a few comrades exiting the restaurant while a couple walked in.

The waitress approached them with the order who was accompanied by a man. "Young master of The Rivers family!" He addressed Zaiden with utmost respect. Curtis stood up from his seat to give proper greetings to the count of the Lancaster family. He bowed a little and gestured to him to sit.

Zaiden speculated about him briefly but keenly as the man reacted with the same gesture of analysis. He spoke as soon as the man seated himself. "I want to meet the actual Lancaster heir." The man became stunned but didn't flinch although Zaiden sensed slight dilation of his pupils.

"What are you implying, young master?" He questioned in a cold tone turning towards Zaiden. While Curtis remained sitting there watching the whole show.

'As expected from this boy, I still wonder up to this day how his analysis is always correct?' Curtis was holding a revolver under the table and was alert to shoot if something happened.

"You clearly know what I am talking about, you are an imposter who couldn't even mimic a vampire count." Zaiden mocked his efforts of mimicking the count making the man dazed this time. He stared at him and then laughed scornfully.

"You really are something, young lad." He giggled with a grin when his one sharp canine got exposed in the process. "But how did you catch me?" The man became curious and leaned in on elbows to hear the wonderful explanation.

Zaiden Rivers crossed his arms and sat back with a meaningful smile. Whereas Curtis admired the young boy for his observation although his grasp around the gun didn't lose. He was well aware that the gun loaded with silver bullets can kill any vampire no matter what powers he or she had.

"The actual Lancaster heir knew my name and was supposed to be conscious enough to consider table manners." Zaiden presented his simple theory which was absolutely correct. His eyes moved towards the imposter whose cuff was licking the plate.

He let out a chuckle and moved his arm away while praising him. "Excellent. I'm impressed. I was told about you but didn't believe the information." The imposter grinned smugly. "I guess that was true."

"Now if you are done with the weaponry check, I want to meet the count." Zaiden knew that they were conscious regarding the meet up. And it was expected because he was their nemesis and had killed numerous vampires.

The Lancaster heir held a legendary lineage thus his safety was a necessary thing. "Sure." The man stood up and exited the restaurant. Curtis was still admiring the young boy who looked at him when a thick black smoke began to enter from the windows.

'What tricks are they trying to pull?' Zaiden panicked but apparently seemed calm knowing that they wouldn't kill him. If the count was supposed to harm why would he invite him for  a meet up? Or the nurse sent by him would've killed him already. Was it possible that they needed Zaiden for something, just like he was using the vampires?
