Ten thousand years of cultivation. One family to protect. A universe that shouldn’t exist. Adrian Vale was the strongest cultivator in existence. Then he woke up in the body of a nineteen-year-old university student on Earth—a world without spiritual energy, without immortal sects, without anything he understands. His new family is drowning in debt. His new sister is being threatened by criminals. And the people responsible are connected to a hidden supernatural world that should not exist on this planet. He could return to his own universe. He chooses to stay. But Earth holds secrets older than humanity—and Adrian’s arrival was no accident. Something brought him here. Something that has been waiting for him. He is the Eternal Sovereign. And he will not let anything happen to his family. Not while he is still here.

Chapter 1

The Eternal Sovereign’s Final Breakthrough

The sky above the Endless Plateau had not changed in ten thousand years.

Adrian remembered when it had been blue. Now it was a deep, bruised violet, streaked with the golden veins of spiritual energy that had saturated the atmosphere after centuries of cultivation wars. The plateau itself was a scar on the world—a flat expanse of black stone where nothing grew, where no mortal dared to tread, where even the strongest cultivators of the current era would have found their spiritual energy drained within minutes.

He stood at its center. Alone.

The wind did not touch him. The cold did not reach him. The weight of the atmosphere—heavy with energies that would have crushed an ordinary cultivator—did not register against his skin.

He had not felt those things in a very long time.

Adrian exhaled slowly. His breath did not mist in the cold air. It simply… existed, a brief disturbance in the spiritual currents that flowed around him like water around a stone.

Ten thousand years.

The thought was not melancholy. It was simply a fact. A measurement. A span of time that had once felt infinite and now felt like the space between two heartbeats.

He raised his hand. The air before him rippled. Not with spiritual energy—he had transcended the need for such crude manipulation millennia ago. The ripple was something deeper. A disturbance in the fundamental fabric of existence itself.

The Origin Boundary.

He had spent three thousand years searching for it. Another two thousand understanding it. And the last five hundred preparing to cross it.

It was not a place. It was not a barrier. It was a limit—the theoretical edge of his universe, the point beyond which the principles governing reality were said to originate. Every cultivator who had ever lived had sensed its existence, in the way a fish might sense the surface of the ocean. Few had ever approached it. Fewer still had returned.

Adrian had never been interested in returning.

He closed his eyes. His perception expanded—not through spiritual sense, not through any technique he had developed, but through the simple act of understanding. He perceived the universe around him as a structure. A lattice of principles, connected by relationships, bound by laws. Space and time. Causality and consequence. Life and death. Creation and destruction.

He had mastered them all.

Beyond the lattice, something else existed. He could feel it—a pressure against the edges of reality, a presence that was not a presence, a structure that was not a structure. It was the source. The origin. The threshold.

Adrian opened his eyes.

And stepped forward.

The world did not change. Not immediately. He simply… shifted. The plateau was gone. The violet sky was gone. He stood in a space that had no dimensions, no colors, no sounds. It was not empty—it was full. Full of things he could not name, could not perceive, could not understand.

For the first time in ten thousand years, Adrian felt something he had almost forgotten.

Uncertainty.

He reached out with his perception, trying to grasp the nature of the space around him. His senses—honed over millennia to detect the faintest fluctuations in spiritual energy, the subtlest shifts in reality—registered nothing. Not because there was nothing to sense, but because there was too much. The space was saturated with meaning, with structure, with principles that operated on a level beyond anything he had encountered.

He was not afraid. He had transcended fear long ago. But he was cautious. Careful. He had not lived this long by underestimating the unknown.

He took another step.

The space around him shifted. Not physically—there was no physical here. But conceptually. He perceived, suddenly, a vast array of structures stretching out in every direction—not in space, but in something else. Something his mind struggled to categorize.

Realities.

The word came to him unbidden. He was not seeing one universe. He was seeing many. An infinite lattice of realities, connected by structures that existed outside of space and time. He was standing at the intersection of everything.

The revelation should have overwhelmed him. It did not. He had spent three thousand years pursuing this. The confirmation of his theories was not a shock—it was a vindication.

But there was something else.

Something that should not exist.

He felt it before he saw it. A presence. Not an entity—not in any sense he understood. It was more like a pattern. A consciousness that permeated the structures around him, watching, waiting, aware.

Adrian spoke. His voice did not carry through the space—sound did not exist here. But the intent of his words, the meaning, projected outward like a ripple in still water.

“Who are you?”

The presence did not answer immediately. Adrian waited. He was patient. He had waited ten thousand years for this moment. He could wait longer.

Then, finally, a response.

Not in words. Not in sound. In something deeper—a direct transmission of meaning that bypassed language entirely.

“At last. Someone has reached the threshold.”

Adrian’s eyes narrowed. The voice—the presence—was not hostile. It was not friendly, either. It was… expectant. As if it had been waiting for this moment for a very long time.

“You know me?” Adrian asked.

“I know what you are. What you have become. You are the first. In this reality, at least.”

“The first to do what?”

“To reach the Origin Boundary through understanding rather than force. The others—those who came before—tried to break through. They failed. You did not. You understood. That is why you are here.”

Adrian considered this. “What do you want?”

“To show you what lies beyond. To offer you a choice. But first—”

The presence paused. Adrian felt something shift in the structures around him. Something was changing. Something was wrong.

“—you are needed elsewhere.”

Adrian frowned. “What do you mean?”

“There is a disturbance. A fracture in the structure of existence. It must be addressed. You are the only one who can address it.”

“I have no interest in other realities,” Adrian said. “I came here to understand. Not to intervene.”

“You will intervene,” the presence said. “Not because I ask it. But because the fracture is connected to you. To your understanding. To your arrival here. You cannot avoid it, any more than you could avoid the Origin Boundary once you perceived it.”

Adrian felt a flicker of something he had not experienced in millennia. Irritation. He had not come this far to be manipulated.

“I am not a tool,” he said quietly. “I am not a pawn. If you think I will—”

“I do not think you are a pawn,” the presence interrupted. “I know you are the Sovereign. The Eternal. The one who mastered the principles of this reality. But mastery of one reality is not mastery of all. There are things beyond your understanding. Things that even I do not fully comprehend. And one of them is coming.”

Adrian fell silent. The presence was not lying. He could sense the truth in its words—not through any technique, but through the simple recognition of an intelligence that had existed for far longer than he had.

“What is coming?” he asked.
