The observing lady said "Mr. Ronnie, to test your close combat prowess we will need to continue various battle simulations. Once you reached the limit then we will be able to tell the rank of your skills."

Ronnie simply nodded his head as he asked "Then can I start attacking?"

"sure please go ahead."

The lady responsible for his test was deep in thought. 'His ability cannot be ranked as the system showed error. His magical spells seems to be around A level. I don't think his close combat would be as better as his magic spells. If his close combat is as good as his magic spells then I don't think I will be able to give a proper evaluation to his rank.'

Soon the combat started, Ronnie didn't know that these monsters were mere E rank monsters. He over exerted his combat prowess.

Just a single slash of his blade and all the monsters were decapitated. The observer of the test was taken aback. Soon she calmed herself thinking that it was normal for a B rank mage to annihilate E rank monsters.

Soon the next batch of monsters spawned and Ronnie continued to dominated the field. The monsters kept on spawning but were continuously overwhelmed by his close combat prowess.

Soon it was time for AA rank monsters to spawn. The field was covered by countless minotaurs. They had sturdy bones that couldn't be cut by normal blades.

'This how can this be? This hunter is much more powerful than I expected. How could there be anyone who can use both magic and swordsmanship? This is absurd. I need to inform the chairman. We need to recruit this hunter at all cost. If he can even overwhelm these AA rank hunters then our world organization would be able to recruit an S rank hunter. But it would be harder than recruiting 30 A rank hunters or 10 AA rank hunters.'

Ronnie stared at the monsters and murmured" finally this group of monsters seem to be strong enough. Now I can finally use my skills."

He grabbed his sword hilt and pulled it out in an instant. The moment his sword was pulled a thin blade ray rushed forward slicing the minotaurs one by one like a paper. There was no stopping it at all.

Moreover the blade ray slashed the sturdy wall of the assessment room into pieces. The lady was shaken to the core. The hunter in front of her was not just an S rank hunters. But a hunter strong enough to dominate even the S rank hunters.

At the same time Khusi and Melina were outside waiting. "Hmm, why is it taking so long? He should have finished by now. Did something go wrong?"

The entire hall was in an uproar. The lady on the testing site frowned as she saw Ronnie standing upright without breathing a sweat.

"Chairman, I have a serious matter to report to you."

At the same time Ronnie was in shock as there was not any monsters appearing. He turned around and asked "Hmm, is the test over?"

The lady smiled as she said "Mr. Hunter the test is indeed over. The simulators can only simulate monsters upto AA rank."

Ronnie felt relieved as he said "Then I can finally get the hunter license and become an official hunter."

"We are sorry to inform you that your hunter license cannot be provided at the moment."

Ronnie who was rejoicing a moment ago frowned as he glared at the lady and asked as politely as possible "Why can't I receive my license? I don't think there was any problem with my assessment."

She felt suffocated by the intimidating aura yet she tried to remain as composed as possible as she said "Mr. Hunter we weren't able to measure your mana so we cannot determine your rank at the moment. Please ease your anger, we Re trying to find out the reason behind this."

Ronnie sighed as he said " Does it matter? Can't you just give me the license as per the rank shown by my status window?"

The lady frowned and said" This is something we cannot. After all we need to verify the mana saturation to give the appropriate rank."

Ronnie was getting impatient as he said" Hey, Look, my status is saying that I am F rank so just give me a F rank license. I need to finish this quickly and go accompany my family."

The lady (Shelly) was taken aback by his words." Sir, are you mistaken? Your magic ability is comparable to the B rank hunters and your sword skills are comparable to the S rank hunters. How could your mana saturation be F ranked? "

As the major guild leaders were trying to find out about the recent commotion, Shelly hid it saying it was a result of a device malfunctioning.

Ronnie walked out of the assessments hall and went to the reception to receive his license. A almuniu card engraved with his name and rank were given to him. With that he soon returned to his family.

At the cirnor of the large hall a pair of eyes stared at him and his families.

"Brother, what rank did you get? I am sure you got an S rank. But why aren't there anyone coming to recruit you?" Both Khusi and Melina was surprised by this.

He smiled as he said "I received C rank license."

"Huh, what? Are you joking?" Both of them couldn't belive his words so he threw the aluminum card at them and said "Rank means nothing as long as I want to do something, nothing and no one can stop me."
