Anon put the knife down and sat down on the bed in the lab thinking of how he would find Emma when suddenly a lady rushed into the building and said

“sir we just received a distress call from X9, he might not survive this mission”

“Who is X9” anon asked

“Robert” Trevor replied

Anon thought that by now he would not give a damn about Robert, but just hearing he was in danger made him scared. He really wanted to get Emma out of this place, but Robert was probably at the point of death. Anon was double minded, he would look at the lady who just walked in and then Trevor, not knowing what to do. Finally , he made up his mind.

“I'll go” anon said

“Go where” Trevor asked, confused about the concept of what anon had just said

“I want to go and help anon” anon answered

“You can't, it's too dangerous” Trevor said to anon

Trevor knew that anon could handle the whole situation, but he did not trust anon to come back to the agency.

“Please he needs me, come on we don't have much time” anon pleaded

After much hesitation, Trevor accepted and to the lady who broke the news to them to get anon a suit and take him with five other recruits and find Robert.

The young lady turned to anon and signalled him to come with her, and, without hesitation, he followed. The lady then introduced herself as Christine tank, the daughter of Trevor tank. Christen was dark skinned with long black hair and brown eyes, she was about 5ft7in (1.7 m)ches tall, and she was twenty-three years old.

Christen took anon to the dressing chamber or just as they call it the XRS chamber. The XRS chamber was a room dedicated for keeping the matrix agents, or rather the X Agent's suits. It had varieties of suites, and each one was built to give the wearer a particular advantage.

“Woah, look at all these armors" anon said as he entered the XRS chamber.

“Well don't just stand there, pick one” christen ordered

Anon searched round, and he could not find one that suites his powers. He needed one that would not burn up like his clothes anytime he used his powers.

“I can't find the one that suites my powers” anon complained.

“Then just type in the description of the one you want on that system and one would be made for you” christen said, pointing to the computer screen on the other side of the room.

Without hesitation, anon hurried to the system and typed I NEED AN ARMOR THAT WILL NOT BURN OFF LIKE MY CLOTHES WHEN I USE MY POWERS. After five minutes, his suite was ready, it was black and had red patterns on it. He hurriedly wore it and the duo raced to the car waiting outside the building

For them.

In a few minutes of driving, they reached an abandoned building where Robert was held hostage and being tortured and interrogated.

“I thought Trevor said you should take five men with me, I only see the two of us” anon whispered as they got off the car and headed stealthily for the building.

“Well Trevor underestimates my abilities. That's why he asked me to take five recruits” Christine replied

“Oh and when on a mission we address each other by our code names, as for me, I'm X5”christen added

“Maybe your dad is just the overprotective type 'X5'” anon said making an air quote with his fingers while saying X5.

“Well I am not a child any more, so he should get over his insecurities” christen said

"Whatever, so what's the plan of attack?” Anon said trying to change the topic.

“Simple...... attack” christen said, breaking down the door in front of them.

As they entered the room they saw Robert tied up to a chair with his mouth tied up, he had been seriously beaten had he had blood all over him.

They looked round and no one was there, and Robert, on the other hand, was unconscious.

“You get him, I'll cover you” christen assured anon as she pulled out a ketana from its sheet at the back of her suit.

“Ok X5” Anon said as he walked towards Robert.

As anon got to Robert and started cutting him loose, Robert woke up and started mumbling some words which anon could not understand because his mouth was tied.

“What's it man, we are here to help you, it's me anon” Anon told him, removing the piece of cloth preventing Robert from speaking.

“It….it's a.....it's a trap” Robert said weakly.

“What do you mean, it's a.....” Anon said, but was interrupted by the boom timer that was underneath Robert's chair.

Time paused just as the bomb was about to go off. Anon had been able to channel the energy in his body to increase his speed fast enough before the timer went off. Anon loosened Robert completely and carried him and ran across to christen and grabbed her and ran out of the room. As he was running everything started moving but very slowly.

Anon had not eaten or rested in a while and, as a result, he was getting tired couple with the weight of the two people he was carrying, he was becoming slower and time was playing faster. He ran and ran and just as he was about to run out through the front door…

BOOM!!!!

The bomb exploded, taking the whole building with it. The bomb blast sent Anon, christen and Robert flying, suddenly a blue orb covered the trio taking the full impact of their crash causing them to take no damage or injuries.

“Ughh… We made it” anon said as the blue orb vanished in the same way in appeared.

“Yes all thanks to me” christen said proudly

“You? I'm the one who Carried your sorry asses out of that building” anon complained.

“Really….how?” Christen asked.

“It's my superpower" anon said proudly

“But I saved us from getting hurt but the explosion.....the blue force field was my doing” christen said.

“Well can you both stop arguing and get me to a hospital” Robert said in a weak and feeble tone?

“Sure” anon and Christine chorused

The trio were just about to get into their car when suddenly......
