Looking at the goblin, it looked at one of it claws which got broken from the collision.

“Ahhhh” It yelled angrily before flying towards Draken at a break neck speed.

“Ahhhhhh” A claw mark was dented on Draken back with blood continuously spewing out from.

“Ahhhh” Draken yell in pains.

The goblin gave him no time to react as another wave of attacks coming after the other.

Draken was frustrated, it felt as if the goblin was purposely toying with him.

Marks after marks soon appeared all over him causing his body to be covered with blood.

“Stupid goblin,” Draken said in an annoyed tone.

He readied the blade paying no attention to the injuries he had sustained. His eyes were sharp as a sword and his ears listened to the sound around him.

His eyes can be deceived but not his ears. His past fight with the goblin, due to it astonishing fast speed he could only see after images. But now, paying attention he could clearly hear the flapping sound of the goblin wings.

“Got you,” Draken said as a smile curved up his lips.

He slashed to the right. Feeling his blade collide with something a satisfied smile curved in his lips.

The gobin soon came to sight. It eyes were focused on his shoulder which had a thick green liquid flowing out of it.

Looking at the green liquid he was his blood thirst instantly grew. He felt his rationality shaked.

He walked towards it ignoring the death stare from the goblin. He took a handful before gulping it in one go.

In an instant he felt relief. He felt energy spread from his stomach to every inch of his body. Every cell in him suddenly became energized. The wounds on his back closed a bit and the pains subside. His tire feeling was soon was replace by a burst of energy.

“Haha, come and get more,” Draken looked at it with a smirk on his face.

“Ding: Murderous intent from the goblin increase to 100. Run for your life,” The system warned.

The goblin said as he flew upwards. He opened his wings and started flapping them frantically.

Next, balls if fire decent from the sky.

“No, this isn't good,” Draken said realizing he had made a mistake annoying it.

He manage to dodge to the side narrowly evading the ball of fire.

The little hope he had shattered. The goblin is now taking advantage of the hot temperature and it flung abilities.

Draken was bounded to the ground and could only run for his dear life.

“Slash”

The weird world finally made it move. A long tentacles covered in fire flew towards Draken.

“Why are these beast just crazy. One shoot fire from it wings and the other has a break neck strike and could even detach it tentacles,” Draken complain inwardly.

He watched as the tentacle flew back to it hand almost like a boomerang and returned to it position.

Draken felt frustrated, his chances of skipping away and running thinned stvtge sight of the tentacles which has high target and great speed.

“No, I don't want to die. I am not ready to die,” Draken thought as he clenched his fist tightly.

“Ice Age,” Draken muttered silently.

The whole environment temperature took a huge change. The high temperature cause butge volcanoes became bone chilling and cold.

There was visible confusion on the face of the monsters as they wonder what happened.

The flames from the goblin sings stopped coming out as they were instantly extinguished by the cold temperature.

“Host has activated the ice age skill. It takes effect for 20 minute,” The system voice rang loudly in his ears.

“Good, this should be enough to weak them a bit,” Draken said with a smile.

The temperature difference really affected the monster powers. Their abilities dropped by 20% in an instance. Looking at their status Draken survival hopes Increased.

He bend down slightly and leaped into the air. He slashed horizontally cutting the goblin who was in a daze in two.

His lower body shake violently.

It lost its stability and fell to the ground.

“Good, that my opportunity to end it,” Draken thought as he dashed towards it at a high speed.

“Danger,” He said as his body reacted. He moved sideways dodging the tentacle that fkee right towards him at the nick of time.

In the few second, the goblin flew towards the wolf.

Draken felt tire but he knew he had to be guarded. Any slight mistake can cost him his life.

He watched as the goblin hide at the back of the second monster with an angry look.

He missed an opportunity to end it.

He walked towards the place where the goblin fell. He used his hands to scoop a handful of the green liquid before taking it in a gulp.

The blood has a foul and rotten odor with a hot and burning sensation as he drank it.

“Ahhh,” Draken exclaimed feeling energy flow throughout his body. The feeling of fatigue disappeared instantly and the wounds in his back covered a bit.

“Good, their bloods can make me stronger,” Draken thought as a wicked smile curved on his lips.

“Come and meet your doom,”Draken said as to it.

The monster didn't reveal a hint of fear.

It spread open it hands while walking towards Draken.

“Growl,” It let out a loud growl as it ball of red eye lock unto Draken.

“Bam” one of it 8 tentacle flee out from it position towards Draken. Draken leaked into the air dodging the fatal strike.

“I need to get closer to it, it attacks are long distance. Staying too far away from him put him at an advantage,” Draken thought as he stabilized himself.

He dash towards the monster holding his blade.

Sensing what he wanted to do. The monster stomp the ground breaking the ice around it putting a gap between them.

Draken bent forward before jumping on the ice around it. The magma which was solidify to ice were hard to break. He quickly used them to get closer to it.

“Come and meet your doom,” Draken said as he run towards it.

“Solar dominion” Draken said as he slashed with his full strength.

The monster ability instantly reduced greatly. The ice age had already reduced his ability by 20% now the solar dominion reduced it by 30% putting it at half of it original strength.

It felt instantly weak a monetarily stunned look on it face. During this period, Draken blade connected with it leg chopping off one of it.

It let out a loud furious growl that Draken was blasted away by the gust of harsh wind from it mouth.

“The blood can't gi to waste,” Draken thought as he run towards it.

Like before he took a gulp and felt refreshed instantly. Though he was disgusted by the smell and rotten taste. It is better to take some inconvenience than to die.

The monster watched in horror as Draken did the inhumane thing.

It thought Draken was a small fry that why he sent the goblin to attack and kill him quickly. But this annoying pest dares to cut off his leg.

It strike forward and all it tentacles flew out at sonic speed.

Draken was immediately trapped in their midst.

The attack from all angles giving him no time to react.

“Slash,” One of the tentacle manage to pass through his defence giving him a deep cut on his chest and the impact sent him flying back.

“Ding: Host condition Critical. Health points is running low,” The system warned.

“How much time do I got before the temperature goes back to normal?” Draken asked as he stood up again.

“You have approximately, 13 minute and 24 seconds,” The system said.

“I have to end this quick,” Draken thought.

“Bam”

Another hit sent him flying back again.

“Stupid tentacles,” Draken yelled in a loud and angry voice.

It came again but this time Draken was prepared. He target the speed as soon as it strike him.

He used his strength to catch it in his hands. And I a sharp and fluid motion he cut it and drank the blood that spill out.

The other tentacles also came rushing.

Draken wrapped the blade with the tentacles tough skin. The blade was already cracking from continuous force.

“The monster locks eye contact with me every time it strikes. What if I go out from his range if sight?” Draken thought as an idea came into him mind.

“Time to have a taste of your own medicine,” He run towards the monster who lay of the floor.

All it hands were fighting Draken and he couldn't support his weight to stand up.

The speed of the tentacles were faster than him and were catching up.

“Almost there,” Draken thought pushing himself beyond his limits.

“Almost,” He said.

As he got closer to it, hd jumped into the head of the monster.

“Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam,” Seven consecutive hot lash landed in the monster making it yelp in pains.

“Good,” Draken thought inwardly feeling satisfied that it plan worked.

“Ding: The monster is on the verge of mutating. Ding, Danger increase. You just helped the monster level up to a monster if threat level 10,” The system said.

Hearing this Draken felt as if he just heard his worst nightmare. He had an horrified look on his face.

“What did you just say?” Draken asked to be sure he heard right

“The monster is not an ordinary level nine beast, he is at the peak and with the strong restriction of the ice age and solar dominion. The were like a burden and his resistance help it to break through,” The system explained.

“Host, it is better to leave here while you can. But if you want to fight you still have a chance. It hasn't fully leveled up. And is at it strongest yet weakest moment. You can ruin it transformation,” The system said.

Chapter Title: The Balance That Refuses to Kneel The pressure did not strike all at once. It built. Slow. Measured. Deliberate. The large entity did not rush forward like the unstable ones before it. It did not lash out or distort the space in chaotic bursts. Instead, it expanded its influence with precision, testing the boundaries of the framework, pressing against it in controlled waves. Jacob felt each one. Not as pain. Not as force. But as resistance. Like something was trying to rewrite the rules they had just created. Lira stood beside him, her focus sharpened to its limit. “It’s pushing without attacking,” she said. Jacob nodded. “Because it doesn’t need to.” The presence confirmed. Strategic pressure detected That was the difference. This entity understood. It had already reached a level the others were still struggling toward. It did not need to destroy the framework. It only needed to prove it was unnecessary. And slowly… It was doing exactly that. Ano

Chapter Title: The First Fracture of Certainty The shift was small. So small that, if Jacob had not been paying attention with every part of his awareness, he might have missed it entirely. But he did not miss it. He felt it. The large entity, the one that had stood as a symbol of absolute certainty, had changed. Not in form. Not in strength. But in something deeper. Its stillness was no longer complete. Its presence no longer perfectly rigid. A flaw had appeared. Or perhaps… An opening. Lira leaned slightly closer, her voice barely above a whisper. “It moved.” Jacob nodded. “Yeah.” The presence confirmed. Adaptive process reactivated The words echoed with a quiet significance. Because this was not just a reaction. It was a decision. The large entity pulsed again. But this time… The pulse was uneven. Not chaotic. But no longer perfectly controlled. It carried variation. And that variation spread. The entities aligned with it reacted immediately. Their ri

  • Chapter 154: Weight Of Too Many Choices

Chapter Title: The Weight of Too Many Choices The space did not descend into chaos. That would have been easier to understand. Instead, it became something far more complicated. Alive with decisions. Everywhere Jacob looked, entities moved through different stages of becoming. Some glided into stability almost effortlessly, adopting the framework as if it had always belonged to them. Others drifted in uncertainty, lingering between formation and collapse, their shapes flickering with hesitation. And then there were the ones that resisted. Not all of them in the same way. Some rejected the framework outright, pushing against it with sharp, erratic bursts of energy. Others circled it, brushing against the pattern only to pull away again, as if something within them refused to settle. The space responded to all of it. It adapted. The framework expanded naturally, adjusting its presence without forcing itself. The areas where stability increased began to feel different, smoothe

  • Chapter 153: The Ones That Refuse The Pattern

Chapter Title: The Ones That Refuse the Pattern They came in waves. Not all at once, not in a single overwhelming surge, but steadily, inevitably. Distortions emerged from the deeper expanse like fragments of a broken idea trying to piece itself together. Some were faint, barely holding shape. Others were already forming, their outlines flickering with unstable intent. And now, for the first time, there was something waiting for them. The framework. Invisible to the eye, but woven into the space itself. A quiet offering. A path toward balance, toward structure, toward something more than chaos. Jacob stood at the center of it, his breathing steady, his focus absolute. “Here they come,” Lira said under her breath. “I see them,” Jacob replied. The presence spoke. Multiple entities entering interaction range The entity added. “Behavioral divergence expected.” Jacob nodded. “Let’s see.” The first of the incoming distortions reached the outer edge of the framework. It pulsed

  • Chapter 152: the past

The horizon did not hold. It filled. Slowly at first, like mist gathering over water, the faint silhouettes continued to form. One became three, three became ten, ten stretched into dozens. Each figure wavered at the edge of reality before stepping forward and solidifying just enough to exist. Not fully alive. Not entirely gone. Something in between. Azrael stood his ground, his eyes scanning the growing crowd as his grip on Quinn tightened ever so slightly. His instincts told him to prepare for a fight. But nothing attacked. Nothing rushed him. Nothing even showed aggression. They simply… arrived. “…Yeah,” he muttered under his breath. “This is getting out of hand.” The woman beside him didn’t respond immediately. Her attention was fixed on the expanding field of figures, her expression sharper than it had ever been. “This isn’t supposed to happen,” she said quietly. Azrael smirked faintly. “You keep saying that.” Her gaze flicked to him briefly. “And you keep maki

Chapter Title: Echoes That Refuse to Fade The wind did not settle. It grew. Not violently, not with the chaotic rage of a storm, but with a steady, deliberate increase that carried weight far beyond air in motion. It pressed against Azrael’s clothes, tugged lightly at his hair, and whispered across the open land with a tone that felt almost like a warning. Something had changed again. Not suddenly. Not sharply. But undeniably. Azrael stood still, his eyes fixed on the horizon as the feeling settled deeper into his bones. The world ahead looked the same, stretched wide and endless, but it no longer felt like something he could simply walk through. It felt like something that would answer back. “…You feel that too, right?” he asked. The woman didn’t hesitate this time. “Yes.” Her voice was quieter than usual, more focused. “It’s spreading.” Azrael exhaled slowly. “Yeah.” A pause. “Not just here.” His grip on Quinn tightened slightly. “Everywhere.” Quinn responded im
