Before Draken could get in striking distance, the golem swung out its blade towards him.

"Not this time." Draken spoke with a fierce look as he watched the blade head towards him. When it was only inches away from hin he leapt up into the air, making the blade miss him and go below him.

With Draken now above the golem's giant blade, he stepped on it and boosted himself more into the air until he was now in the same level as the golem's head.

Gripping his dagger firmly, Draken stabbed it forward towards the golem's head.

SHATTER!

Upon making contact with the monster's head, the dagger shattered to pieces without leaving a scratch on the monster.

'The dagger...it shattered to pieces? The skin must be really hard that it shattered such powerful dagger!' Draken pondered internally as he was now landing back in the floor.

Boom!

Before Draken could land, the golem sent out a kick that connected neatly to his face and senr him flying several meters backwards, until he crashed into a building once more.

"Ugh.." Draken grunted in pain as he lifted himself off the floor. His body were covered with bruises and part of his body were broken, but he could feel it healing up at an incredible speed.

'If i can't attack it with a weapon, then i have to feed it my fist.' Draken then clenched his fists tightly and began to charge forward while making a battle cry.

"SOLAR DOMINATION HAS BEEN ACTIVATED"

Activating the attribute, Draken could see the golem's speed slowing down.

'The attribute of the golem already dropped by 30%. It might have dropped but it's still hella sterong..i have to be careful.' Draken pondered as he watched the golem stabbed its blade towards him.

The pace of the attack was quite slow than earlier, giving Draken the opportunity to serve his body sideways and dodge the strike.

After successfully dodging the strike, Draken closed in on the golem, leaping few meters into the air, and sent out his clenched fist towards the unprotected chest.

Boom!

Draken's fist slammed heavily on the chest of the golem and caused it to roar in agony. Draken didn't stopped there, he landed back gracefully on the floor before leaping back up and sent out a clean punch to the head.

Boom!

The punch made impact, and the golem dropped it's blade and was knocked several meters backwards.

"SOLAR DOMINATION HAS BEEN DEACTIVATED."

Draken received the notification after knocking the golem several meters backwards. But the notification didn't trouble him..

"What do we have here." Draken the picked up the giant blade on the floor with his right hand.

"I expected it to weigh more than this..but it's almost like i am carrying nothing." Draken intoned as he glanced at the blade before walking towards the golem who was still recovering from the punch and was currently on its knees.

"You shall die by your own blade." Draken informed, gripping the blade with both hand before lifting it above his head and slashed it forward, taking the head clean off.

Green blood splattered around as the gigantic head of the golem was chopped off.

"YOU HAVE SLAIN A GOLEM"

"YOU WILL NOW ADVANCE TO THE NEXT STAGE OF THE QUEST"

Draken glanced at the screen while panting heavily.

'Next stage, eh? I wonder if that stage is where the boss resides.' Draken pondered intenally.

What looked like a circular blue portal appeared in front of Draken and a strange force began to pull him in until he got sucked into the portal and vanished instantly.

Seconds after vanishing from the area, Draken appeared in a whole new location.

"What the hell?" Draken muttered while glancing around the place he found himself in. The area was filled with mountains that had volcano pouring out from it like water fall. Draken was currently standing on a mountain that was as tall as a skyscraper, and below him was a river of volcano.

SCREECH!

A loud screeching sound reverberated throughout the area as a figure flew towards Draken like a bird and attempted to slash him with its blade-like wings. In the last second, Draken managed to duck low and the monster missed its Target by hair length and flew over him.

Draken swiftly regained composure and leap few steps backwards to move away from the edge and examine the monster.

The monster looked like a goblin with wings. Green body, hard scales on its body like rock, the two wings behind it were as sharp and long like a katana blade.

The monster looked like a goblin with wings. Green body, hard scales on its body like rock, the two wings behind it were as sharp and long like a katana blade.

"What the hell is this thing?" Draken gulped down and cold sweat trickled down his face. He had a hint of fear on his face feeling the ominous pressure he got which sent shivers down his spines.

“It a monster with threat level nine, save yourself” The system said.

“What do you mean save yourself and a threat level 9 monster," Draken thought with his heart beating widely. A monster this strong is enough to crush him to bits.

He was thinking about the danger when he heard a loud howl which shook the entire dungeon. A body which Draken guessed was the size of a building was revealed.

"What is this," Draken asked as he looked at the ball of blood red eyes which seemed almost as if it could see his soul.

It has the head of a wolf, 8 tentacles and two strong and massive legs. It

Second beast

Draken looked at the blue screen which displayed the monster status also showing its picture.

“Ding: Danger Detected. Host Run away from here,” The system said.

“It not like I don't want to run, it just that there is no where to run to,” Draken said as beads of sweat dropped down from his forehead.

“I have to defeat the to be able to get out,” Draken thought as he brought out the Blade he got from the previous monster.

“System I can't fight this beast with my current strength, what can you do to help me? I can't die," Dave said to the system.

"Scanning random  skill," The system said.

“Scanning completed, two skill found: Skill transfer. Ice age and Time freeze,” The system said as two notification pops up. It contains how to use the skill and their abilities.

“Ice age:Abilities: Can turn environment within 50km cold and bone chilling.

Time duration: 20 minutes

Time freeze Can freeze the world

Duration: 5 seconds.

Draken read the notification while keeping an eye on the two monsters.

“Ice age is a good skill when counter attacking monsters of fire elements. Time freeze is also good. But to maximise their power I have to get the perfect timing to use them,” Draken thought.

“Screech,” The gobin yelled as it moved at a very fast speed towards Draken baring it long claws and fangs.

Draken turned the blade using it to collide with the claws of the goblin blocking it.

The force blasted him back making him fall hard to the ground.

Draken used struggled to stand up.

“What a powerful force,” Draken thought as he wiped the blood that trickles down the corner of his lips with the back of his hands

They became more themselves, but with widened possibility. Repair clusters grew bolder. Innovation cells became less reckless. Yet their pressure had eased. The overwhelming weight of constant evaluation had thinned, allowing the living system to breathe in something closer to freedom.Jacob noticed it immediately. Not because anything changed in the structure itself, but because the way everything reacted to it softened.Entities moved with less hesitation. Patterns resumed their earlier unpredictability. Even fractured clusters that had paused during the confrontation began attempting reintegration.Lira exhaled slowly beside him.“I feel like I just survived being stared at by a mountain.”Jacob gave a faint nod.“That’s not far off.”The transformed second signal hovered near them, its pulse steadier now but still carryi
