As the night wore on, Meredith found herself lost in a deep thought, she thought back and forth, starting from the time her mother, Odette was sick down to her father mysterious illness. She stood up from the bed and went to stand in front of the mirror, she stood there and just then she realised how bad she had become.

She was looking completely different from her usual self, if she wasn't the same person staring at the mirror she would say it's a different image entirely. She quietly moved away from the mirror her eyes fixed on the floor as she muttered to herself.

"I think I should go back home now, I need to apologise to everyone, especially Mum and Dad" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Her thoughts were a jumbled mess, was anyone going to take whatever she says serious, when she gets them? How was she going to tell them she had been controlled by a mere substance all this while? How was she going to tell them she had been fighting her addiction even before it got that
