Chapter 11: You're Mine And Mine Alone

Lu Zhen returned to his courtyard to get some sleep since he had a long day. He quickly fell asleep but something else happened while he was sleeping. The Spiritual Qi in his surroundings, albeit in small amounts entered his body. Yes, Lu Zhen was cultivating in his sleep, it was also an innate ability he had when he was the Supreme White Lion. And as he slept,  he started to snore and his snore was terrifying. 

It sounded like an ancient beast was laying dormant in his room.

The next day, Lu Zhen was woken up by Xiaojian telling him that the Young Miss had come to visit and had requested his audience. Of course Xiaojian was kept in the dark about Zhenzhen's visit until It was announced. Lu Zhen then instructed Xiaojian to have her wait for him in the Butterfly garden as he readied himself. He wore red robes, his hair dishevelled making him look more wild and unrestrained.

In the Butterfly garden, a maiden with looks that were out of this world stood there. She looked like a fairy, very picturesque. Her face as if made of the most precious jade the world could give, her body as if it was molded with the highest clay quality and moulded with godly techniques. She was simply too beautiful and the renowned  Lin Zhenzhen. "How dare he make me wait this long. Trash like him doesn't deserve me!" she said. She was unfortunately very arrogant.

Lu Zhen admired her beauty from afar before slowly approaching. Lu Zhen's gaze then lit with a profound colour as he approached which made Zhenzhen freeze on her spot. Beads of sweat cascaded down Zhenzhen's beautiful face, making her more enticing. "Is there some kind of monster lurking in here?" she thought to herself. It was all Lu Zhen's fault, just as he was checking her out with his profound eyes, she felt that a monster was lurking here somewhere, ready to pounce once she lowered her guard. "Looking good, Zhenzhen." Lu Zhen suddenly whispered in her ear, completely startling and scaring her. 

"Aaahhh!"

She screamed as she attacked him, her hand was covered in a golden light. After attacking, she distanced herself from Lu Zhen. "Who are you? How dare you sneak up on me? Courting death?!" she said. Lu Zhen couldn't help but laugh out loud, "I'm your future husband of course and I wouldn't dare to sneak up on such a dangerous person like you. " Lu Zhen chuckled as he pointed to the hole in his clothes. 

Zhenzhen's cheeks turned red due to being embarrassed and teased by Lu Zhen. 

"How can someone change so much in so little time?!" she asked him with disbelief written all over her face. She didn't believe that this was the same Lu Zhen of when they were kids, he was a totally different person. 'Isn't he supposed to be a waste?' she thought to herself. 

Lu Zhen didn't waste his time explaining himself and only said that he had a lucky encounter which changed his life completely.

"So, why have you come to visit? Did you miss your future husband so much that you couldn't resist visiting him?" Lu Zhen teased.

"I came here to break off our engagement. Lu Zhen, you're a frog lusting after swan meat and a powerful Elder from the Grand Inferno Sect has accepted me as her disciple. Sign these divorce papers and let's both go our separate ways." Zhenzhen said as she gave Lu Zhen the papers. 

Lu Zhen didn't even glance at the papers as he coldly spoke, "So what if you have joined a Sect? What if I'm lusting after swan meat? What if I don't want a divorce? Zhenzhen, I won't be signing those papers because..." Lu Zhen paused for a moment and looked her straight in the eye, "YOU'RE MINE AND MINE ALONE!" an aura of dominance that one couldn't oppose spread out, engulfing the whole garden with its terrifying might. 

"Lu Zhen, you're dreaming if you think that I'm yours. I'll decide who I want to spend the rest of my life with! " Lu Zhen had spoken as if he owned her. "HAHAHA! This is the first time hearing such a statement. You? Another man?  You can forget about it." said Lu Zhen. He was clearly pissed off about Zhenzhen's words.

"What are you going to do about it? You've already wasted three years of cultivating. Most people are at the Qi Condensing Realm."

"Those who look at you with their malicious eyes, I'll gauge the eyes out of those who are courting you, WHOEVER IT IS, WHOEVER THEY ARE... I'LL KILL THEM...I'LL KILL THEM ALL!" Lu Zhen's eyes then flashed with killing intent. He really wasn't joking. As a lion at heart, he was extremely protective and possessive of what is his, especially women. 

Lu Zhen would definitely fight to the death if someone dared covet his woman.

Lin Zhenzhen was awe struck by Lu Zhen's bold statement that she didn't even realise Lu Zhen reaching out his hand and softly pinching her silky smooth cheeks.

He then kissed her on the lips and she realised everything too late. She felt awkward when she looked at Lu Zhen kissing her and slowly closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment. 

She became engrossed in the kiss that when their lips parted, she leaned closer as if she still wanted more. "That's enough for now." said Lu Zhen and his words rang through her ears, she opened her eyes only to see Lu Zhen staring at her, "I...I...I...Aaahhh." she stammered, then ran away with a red-like tomato face. Lu Zhen smiled but moments later his expression became cold after she left.

He then went to the library to look for information.

Lu Zhen had been relying on the memories he obtained but they were too limited because the former Lu Zhen only focused on his sword training.

He read books for hours without breaking a sweat. He then let out a long sigh. He didn't get the information he needed the most which disappointed him greatly. His only option was to ask his uncle if there were places where he would acquire abundant knowledge.

The next day Lin Zhenzhen left and Lu Zhen watched the carriage as it scurried off.

Later that day, "Uncle, do you know any places where one would be able to obtain all the information he needed." Uncle Hung pondered for a while before responding, "What about the Grand Inferno Sect?  They have quite deep roots and have existed since long ago." said Uncle Hung.

'Glaze Inferno Sect.' Lu Zhen thought to himself.
