"Harm the family? My mistake?" Elder Wang was dumbfounded. He didn't know what he had done and who this young man was but thinking about what Xiaojian had said to him when he summoned him, he had to believe it. Xiaojian had explained to Elder Wang how Lu Zhen had changed and that he shouldn't dwell much on it. "Young master, this lowly one doesn't  know what you're talking about." said Elder Wang innocently. 'This isn't a simple change, it's a complete makeover!' he thought to himself but dared not to be disrespectful to this young man.

"Elder Wang! Even your ignorance is harmful to the family. Should I KILL OR CRIPPLE YOU!?" shouted Lu Zhen. He was furious to the extreme and he really meant what he said. Elder Wang was already sweating bullets when he felt the killing intent that Lu Zhen released. Although it wasn't as powerful as the one he released in the forest. "Have mercy Young Master!" screamed Elder Wang as he slammed his head on the ground, blood ran down the elder's forehead.

"Too..." before Lu Zhen could finish speaking, the doors opened and the elders as well as the Patriarch could be seen standing there.

They were surprised to see Elder Wang kneeling in front of Lu Zhen who was seated on the Patriarch's seat. The Patriarch as well as the elders didn't notice this as they were engrossed in Lu Zhen's appearance. He had a gaze that prevented anyone from looking at him straight in the eye, flawless looks that could charm even Immortals and Gods. He had a noble air around him that enabled him to be given respect without earning it. He sat there looking down on everyone.

The reason everyone came here was because Xiaojian was so excited after seeing that Lu Zhen was no longer a cripple that immediately after calling Elder Wang, he ran to the Patriarch's courtyard to report these joyous news.

Coincidentally, the elders were also present so they went together to see with their own eyes. Xiaojian did of course tell them that Lu Zhen had changed, that's why they were looking at him from top to bottom.

After looking for a while, they noticed Lu Zhen sitting on the Patriarch's seat and one of the elders shouted, "Lu Zhen! How dare you seat on that chair? Get down from there right now!" Lu Zhen calmly responded "It's just a chair. No need to be so dramatic." Everyone was flabbergasted by Lu Zhen's response 'It's just a chair!?'

"Lu Zhen, get down from there right now or else..." "OR ELSE WHAT!?" Lu Zhen interrupted the elder with this question as he coldly looked at him. He couldn't let such a weak person threaten him, his pride wouldn't accept it. The elder wanted to retort but he found that he couldn't voice out his words as if he said one more word then he would literally be slapped into meat paste.

"Enough! Lu Zhen, why don't you tell us what you're doing here?" The Patriarch didn't mind Lu Zhen's actions as he was his nephew and had been raising him since his parents died due to an illness. He was more curious about why the elder was kneeling in a pleading position with his body drowned in sweat.

This was his first time seeing an elder so afraid and respectful of Lu Zhen. This of course made him happy, Lu Zhen had lost his respect from the elders the day he was crippled.

"Elder Wang deserves punishment by death for wasting Lu's talent." said Lu Zhen calmly.

The elders were confused and surprised by Lu Zhen's words. To be so cruel and ruthless at such an age because of a mere servant. They were also confused when he said Lu's talent was wasted. The only talented person in this branch family was of course Lu Zhen himself. They looked at him strangely.

"Xiaojian," said Lu Zhen suddenly.

"Xiaojian?"

The elders became more confused when Lu Zhen talked about a mere servant. Seeing their expressions, Lu Zhen sighed and explained, "Xiaojian has been gifted by the heavens with the Divine Sword Constitution."

"Divine Sword Constitution?"

Lu Zhen was a bit annoyed by their lack of knowledge, "This constitution is special, their body is especially suited for the sword.

If a sword cultivator has this constitution, in the future, he will be unmatched and unparalleled. Every part of his body can be used as a sword, from a strand of his hair to a drop of his blood or sweat, of course this will be possible when he reaches a higher level in cultivation.

Meaning he won't need a sword because his body will already be one. If grown to the extreme, one can be able to even split the heavens and sever the earth. With a sword in hand, they are untouchable, they can traverse the universe and the galaxy unhindered and unrestrained!" Everyone was astonished by such information.

"Xiaojian!" shouted Lu Zhen. A few minutes later, Xiaojian appeared. "Yes Young Master."

"I want you to exchange pointers with Elder Wang," he said calmly.

"Absolutely not," said the elder who wanted Lu Zhen to step down from the Patriarch's seat.

"HAHAHA, who asked for your opinion? Xiaojian is my servant and he does whatever I tell him and as for Elder Wang..." Lu Zhen looked at Elder Wang, "I'M SURE HE KNOWS WHAT'S GOOD FOR HIM." grinned Lu Zhen.

Elder Wang knew that he was in no position to refuse as most of the elders didn't refute Lu Zhen's words.

"But Young Master!" cried Xiaojian out of shock. He'd never trained in the sword, much less held it.

"Don't worry. It's just a spar."  Seeing that his Young Master wasn't joking, he didn't have a choice but to agree.

He just kept watching, studying his enemies, learning all that he could about them and he'd collected a lot of data these past few days. Now, he knew that the Abyssals receive insane boosts and enhancements when nighttime arrives. He also noticed that the Abyssals grabbed the heads of his knights in order to kill them and death was instant once the head was grabbed. And he also discovered that the Abyssals weren't moving fast but actually teleporting to their targets and their form of teleportation was so perfect that it didn't leave any trails to follow or how to predict their movements. …“For how long will you watch as your men die?! For how long will you watch them being slaughtered like chickens without even the chance to retaliate?! Give the retreat command and save your men from this pointless death!” angrily s

[Ah, look what we have here. A bunch of rats that we've been looking for for months. I'm glad that you're all gathered in one place. It saves me the time of hunting you down one by one!]A giant of a man stood calmly in the air, above his helmeted head was a halo that made the knight in shining golden armour look like a being that was sent from the holy lands. The figure was three meters tall, very large and broad body and was wearing heavy armour. He held a massive shield on one hand and a long sword on the other. His white cape with a Lion Emblem fluttered in the wind. Bang! A pillar of light shot down from the skies, creating dust and debris. Once the dust cleared, another knight had arrived and was kneeling on one knee. Another pillar shot down from the skies, followed by another, and another. Soon, the pillars of light falling down from the sky were like rain due to the huge number and each pillar of light was actually a knight falling from the skies.Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Ba

Collapsed buildings, broken windows, potholes, dead plants and trees and the utter silence this place had. “Commander Leo, we've searched everywhere but there's nobody here, no survivors and no corpses, nothing alive, not even insects.” an armoured knight in gold reported to another golden armoured knight. On the armour was the Sun Crest and on the cape of the armour was the Lion Emblem. These knights were the Sun Knights of the Lionheart Order, a newly risen organisation after the disappearance of the Gods and it was the only Knight Order that currently existed. Wherever they went, the gentle golden light would follow, changing even the colour of the sky to golden, holiness oozed from every fibre of their beings.“I can smell the stench of the heretics, this is the work of those damned cultists, the Pupil Cult was behind this!” said Commander Leo in a cold and authoritative voice. “The Pupil Cu

  • Chapter 370: Horror

Inside a large room with dozens of shelves placed in an orderly manner with numerous books inside these shelves, there was a small table in an inconspicuous corner where an old man sat and was reading an untitled book. There was a lantern placed on the table to provide light for the old man. This old man looked refined in his old model grey suit and a hat. He used a monocle as a reading tool. Whilst reading, a group of people suddenly appeared before him without any spatial riples or Mana fluctuations. The old man immediately became vigilant as he took out a sword from under his table.“Lights on.” said the old man and the whole room lit up, completely revealing the figures of the intruders. Clang! “It can't be…” muttered the old man as he dropped his sword with tears in his eyes. He himself dropped to his knees and crawled towards a certain individual within the group and bowed his head just inches away from the individual's feet. Amongst the group was a drop dead gorgeous woman a

  • Chapter 368: Delicacy

Neither the Empress nor the other Gods knew what the lion faced monster was saying but they could guess from the level of excitement it was showing. The monster then felt the gazes and looked up where there was a massive space crack with multiple powerful figures looking at it but the monster showed no fear. The monster only stared directly at the strongest figure amongst those looking at it, directly making eye contact with a God Empress, an entity beyond the Omniversal scale. What was even more shocking was that the figure suffered no damage from staring at a God. In the eyes of the monster, all he saw was blinding brilliance of milky gold, a cluster of particles that could bend reality if they so wished to do so. The Empress didn't back down from the challenge and also stared back at the absolute darkness that had taken roots in the eye sockets of the monster. The other Gods were also attracted by the darkness of the monster’s eyes as though something deep within was beckoning th
