Victor sat in silence, unsure of what to do or say. He listened quietly as the man spoke, only to realize the man had fallen asleep, his head resting on the bench.

[System Notification]

"Congratulations! You are now a genius song-writer and have also been rewarded with a composed musical piece." Victor felt conflicted about receiving a reward from the entertainment god system. He glanced at the sleeping man and sighed, feeling the weight of his promise to help him.

Reaching into his pocket for his phone, Victor's car keys fell to the ground, reminding him of the car he had abandoned at the hospital. He had left it there due to the persistent pestering of Luciana and Butterfly.

As he picked up the keys, he pondered his next move and quickly started walking away.

As the realization that it was already midnight sank in, he quickened his pace, the silence of the entire street broken only by sporadic dog barks and distant conversations. Hailing a taxi, he made his way back to the hospital, retrieved his car, and drove home.

Upon his return, he noticed Gabriella's car had been parked in front for quite some time. Anxious thoughts raced through his mind as he recalled that every newlywed couple traditionally embarked on a honeymoon.

"We won't have a honeymoon or share our first moments together because this marriage is a sham," he murmured, wrestling with uncertainty about his decision to stay out late.

Standing at the door, he hesitated, unsure whether to ring the bell. After four minutes of indecision, he sighed, muttering, "Never mind," and turned away, heading towards the dog house nestled in the corner to spend the night. He had barely taken three steps when the creak of the door caught his attention.

Turning around, Victor was surprised to see Gabriella leaning against the door. She looked as stunning as always, her flawless face illuminated by the moonlight. Despite her cold and aloof demeanour, she always had a refreshing presence.

"I have arranged for a vocal coach and enrollment in a singing training academy for you over the summer. Don't worry, I'm not pressuring you to release a song," Gabriella stated coolly, her expression unchanged.

Victor was taken aback by the generous offer. If it had been anyone else, the company would have rushed to capitalize on it and start profiting immediately. He would have been pushed to work tirelessly to fulfill the deal; it felt like his beautiful wife was compensating him for being lazy.

Straightening his posture, he replied, "I don't believe that's necessary."

Gabriella furrowed her eyebrows, but as her expression softened, she gave him a quick glance and headed into the house. Victor hurried after her. "I'll introduce you to your management team tomorrow," Gabriella said before disappearing into her room.

That night, they slept in separate rooms. Victor lay awake, a mix of excitement and anxiety keeping his eyes wide open. Fears of everything being a dream gnawed at him, leaving him restless. He reached for his phone, seeking distraction. His performance video ranked third among trending topics, with "Butterfly" in the top spot and "For You," his upcoming single, following close behind.

Images of Butterfly and Luciana inundated the media, intensifying his irritation. Shutting off his phone, he finally succumbed to sleep.

The following morning, he awoke to the chime of a system notification.

[System Notification]

"Reward Hi-Music record label Jenny with the composed music piece."

Upon seeing the task assigned to him, Victor found himself torn between amusement and frustration. It seemed unfair that he had to relinquish his hard-earned reward from staying up late the previous night.

"Perhaps I'll receive a new reward," he mused. A renewed sense of determination swept over him as he readied himself for the day.

As he made his way downstairs, the only person he encountered was Mrs. Wang in the living room. Her eyes brightened with joy at the sight of him.

"Young master, your breakfast is ready. Come and eat before it gets cold," she exclaimed.

Victor warmly greeted Mrs. Wang before heading to the dining table. Noticing the absence of Gabriella and the meaningful look in Mrs. Wang's eyes, he mustered the courage to ask, "Aunty Wang, has my wife already left the house?"

Mrs. Wang's smile brightened as she replied, "I was expecting you to ask, young master. She left the house three hours ago and instructed me to let you know that a company driver will pick you up after you finish eating to take you to the office."

Victor glanced at the clock and realized it was already past 9 a.m. He hurriedly finished his meal, causing even Mrs. Wang to become anxious as she cautioned, "Take your time, young master."

A few minutes later, he thanked Mrs. Wang and left the house. The company's driver was already waiting in the car to take him to the office. Upon arriving, he was greeted by the sight of the impressive building, and Edna personally escorted him inside.

Edna ushered him into a room where five people were waiting for him.

"Victor is going to be the face of the company," Edna stated abruptly before swiftly departing. Victor found himself alone with five strangers, all of whom were scrutinizing him intently.

As the awkward silence lingered, Victor cleared his throat and decided to break the ice. "I'm Victor Valentine, and I'm looking forward to collaborating with all of you."

Upon hearing his voice, the five strangers appeared taken aback. Suddenly, a man in his late forties stood up, his eyes filled with excitement. "Can you sing any popular songs?" he asked eagerly, as if he had just struck gold.

Victor was caught off guard by the manager's enthusiasm. "Is there something wrong with my voice?" he asked, feeling flustered.

The man shook his head and beamed. "I'm your manager, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with your voice. In fact, it's perfect. It's no wonder the company wants to invest in you. I'm eager to hear the range of your voice."
