"Royo, I remember you," Abraham replied casually with a slight smile. "Good... At such a young age, you've already accomplished a lot. Since you're hosting an event this big, of course I had to come to show my support."

"Thank you for your support, Uncle Abraham Edric. The younger generation still needs guidance from seniors like you," Royo said with a smile, then gestured politely. "Please, come in and have a seat."

Abraham nodded and walked in. To everyone’s surprise, even Jack was nowhere to be seen.

"He must be insane!" some people whispered.

Abraham came without his personal bodyguard. It was as if he either believed the assassination threat was just a rumor or was simply too confident in himself.

Beatrice’s heart was pounding. She had no idea what Abraham was thinking. She had even gone to the Edric family estate to warn him to stay away from this exhibition if possible.

Yet Abraham still came. Even worse, he came alone without Jack, his well-known, skilled bodygua

Meanwhile, Royo did not dare make any more mistakes. It was not just because he still wanted to become the head of the Biz family one day, but more than that, it was about keeping himself alive. "Move faster! Find the assassin, now!" he shouted loudly. "I don’t care what it costs! Track him down, understand?!" "Yes, Young Master Royo Biz!" Several dozen men immediately split up to hunt the assassin. Royo’s expression was grim. He knew he had messed up. But he still could not figure out where things went wrong. How had he ended up leaving an opening that Dixon could use? He had no idea how Dixon had done it at all. Dixon hadn’t even shown up, and yet he had completely taken over Royo’s plan for the exhibition. This was the first time Royo felt like his intelligence and strategies were nothing but a joke compared to Dixon. Dixon had predicted everything Royo would do, while Royo had never even thought about what Dixon might do. And Royo was still completely lost. Where had it

Rou narrowed his eyes, his voice turning sharp. "Are you... questioning me?" Royo held his breath. "I just want clarity. Even if my own father said it, I would still ask." "Tch!" Rou let out a cold laugh. "If your father were here, you’d already be dead." Royo flinched. His throat went dry. He dared not say another word. "Stop wasting time. Send people to hunt down that assassin. Bring him back alive." "Uncle Rou..." "The Biz family isn’t fully prepared yet. If your actions ruin your father’s plan, you’ll pay for it with your life!" Rou snapped. Royo gritted his teeth. "Understood!" he replied shortly, then rushed out. What was the point of being the heir? Over the years, the title of “heir” in the Biz family had changed hands so many times. Royo didn’t even know how many had been erased before him. No one truly held power, not even Rou. Rou sighed deeply as he watched Royo leave in a hurry. "It seems we’ll have to move forward with the plan..." Rou entered the d

"What is there to thank him for?!" Edo snapped mockingly. His eyes were sharp, as if he was ready to explode and destroy everything around him. Yonus quickly turned away. "He's your uncle. Isn't it only natural for him to save you?!" Yonus froze. That sentence… shook him deeply. All this time, Edo had never truly acknowledged Abraham as Matty’s husband or as a member of the Sazz family. But now, he himself had called Abraham Yonus’s uncle. "That’s enough. Get some rest," Edo said. Without waiting for a reply, Edo walked away. He made sure Yonus received proper treatment, then assigned a dozen strong men to guard his son around the clock while he was in the hospital. He would not sit still. He was determined to find the killer. Was it the Biz family who sent the assassin? Or was it just a random accident? But even if it was accidental, Edo would still hunt down whoever dared to threaten two lives from his family. He summoned three grandmaster-level fighters to his home.

"He's still in the operating room." Edo glanced at Matty with an unusual expression. He was still holding onto the anger he felt toward his younger sister. He still could not accept that Matty had married Abraham and taken a significant portion of the Sazz family assets with her. "Don't worry, he's going to be fine," Abraham said, trying to reassure her. "That's good... thank God," Matty said with a sigh of relief, placing a hand on her chest. Her face was pale from fear. She had heard that something terrible had happened at the exhibition. Yonus had nearly been killed, and even Abraham had almost lost his life. Matty fainted when she heard the news. As soon as she regained consciousness, she rushed to the hospital, terrified that something truly awful had happened. But after learning that Abraham was safe and Yonus was not in critical condition, she felt somewhat relieved. "He's going to be fine? You say that like it's guaranteed!" Edo snapped. "Don’t talk so sweetly unti

Royo truly didn’t know what to say. The head of security was still standing in front of him, waiting for instructions. "Why are you still standing here?! Go after him now!" Royo shouted loudly. The situation was already a mess. He could only hope nothing bad happened to Yonus. If something did, Edo would surely direct all his anger at him. The Biz family wasn’t afraid of clashing with the Sazz family. But a conflict at a time like this was the last thing they wanted. It could even push the Sazz family to join forces with the Edric family. And if that happened, things would become even more complicated. Royo furrowed his brow deeply. He couldn’t understand where his plan had gone wrong. Everything had been arranged perfectly. Even if Dixon hadn’t shown up, he had other ways to reach his goal. But now, everything was in ruins. The exhibition had to be canceled, and all the guests had left. No one dared to stay at a place that had just become the scene of an attempted murder. Royo

Meanwhile, The atmosphere slowly calmed down as dozens of security guards flooded the scene. "Call an ambulance! Hurry!" Edo shouted, his voice echoing. Yonus was still lying on the floor. Although he was no longer pinned down, the two arrows were still lodged in his legs. No one dared to pull them out, fearing it would worsen the bleeding. Abraham supported Yonus with one hand while pressing down on the wound with the other, trying to stop the steady flow of fresh blood. "Hold on a little longer. Once the doctor arrives, you will be fine," Abraham said, trying to reassure him. Yonus’s lips trembled. His face was pale, his eyes red and watery from the unbearable pain. Even so, he forced himself to speak. "Uncle... Abraham... th-thank you..." His voice was weak and broken. "Don’t talk anymore," Abraham shook his head firmly. "Stay strong. The ambulance will be here any second!" Yonus only gave a faint nod. In his mind, he vividly recalled how, at the brink of death, his own fa
