Into the Depths
A few minutes earlier…Ozias was struggling. He was weaponless now, having only a flipping crowbar in his inventory!He mumbled some curses under his breath, looking around for an exit. The nearest place where solid ground was was the tunnels. However, they were high up. The water level was low, and he wasn't sure if it was going to rise anytime soon. He made his way over to the wall, looking to see if he could scale it. But, the crystalline wall was slippery, as it barely had crevices or protrusions he could use as prop. ___[Second born of Zerathul]–––Ozias hesitated for a moment, before his mind went back to something his grandfather had told him once. Fighting against a current was futile most of the time. The best option was to go with it, and see where it took you. ‘That’s suicide!’ Ozias snapped internally, but it didn't look like he had much of a choice, because the next moment the crowbar unhooked, and he was taken away. ‘Grandpaaaa!!!’ Ozias screamed, blaming old Draven for his bad luck. Ozias was taken for one of the craziest rides of his life. His body flailed across the water, breaking several stalagmites and columns in the process. Ozias felt a sudden force crash into his psyche, and he groaned, falling to a knee as blood poured out of his orifices. His ears rang, his vision blurred, he tasted blood, and his grip on the guns loosened. He raised a hand to his head and grabbed it, not before dropping the gun in it though. The disorienting feeling subsided after a few seconds, and Ozias shook his head, his eyes clearing. ‘What was that?’ he thought, picking his gun again and rising to his feet. He raised his gaze up to stare at what he had seen moments prior to his disorientation, and his gaze landed on it again. In that split second where he had the chance to behold it, Ozias glimpsed its gargantuan size. The creature's head alone was large enough to encompass over a hundred metres of space. Glistening white scales, layered over one another, coated its head and sinuous body. Three twisting sapphire-like horns curved around its head like a crown, protecting its head from harm and giving it a regal look. Its

Ozias stared straight ahead at the lady sitting without care on the railings, as if she wasn't risking falling into the water below. She had long flowing white hair and striking blue eyes hidden behind a pair of blue tinted sunshades. She had a long blue dress on, with blue heels to match. Her appearance was that of someone coming from a night party or something. The cloth was revealing, somewhat, but Ozias didn't seem to be looking at that. Instead, his eyes were trained on a dog seated close to her, staring straight at him with its soulless eyes. It was a Zombie, albeit a dog. ‘Come to think of it, I haven't seen animals around since this all began… Not even birds,’ Ozias thought.The dog was a Dobermann, its body decaying already, with its spine even shooting through its skin. The dog just sat there, staring at the lady like a loyal guard dog. He stood on a bridge, and beneath it—a few inches into the water—was a circular rift in reality. Vast quantities of Flow spiralled around it; so thick was it that even without Awakened Eyes, anyone could see the Flow. The bodies of Zombies were littered around him, their heads caved in, splattered, crushed, or severed from their bodies. Ozias’ fists were bloody, covered in rotten flesh and brain matter. He was getting the hang of it. He finally gained a snippet of understanding of his Lineage.His body was a weapon… No. It was THE weapon. He was the only Blade he needed. As impressive as the skill was, it was unable to be used passively. He wasn't that skilled in using it, otherwise its use would have been mouth-watering.That said, it didn't mean the skill was subpar. Fact is, it was better than Ozias was letting on—he had replenished his Flow in merely ten seconds after all. He didn't dwell too much on it because there were more pressing matters to attend to. For example, three Zombies had entered his Awakened Eyes range, but he still couldn't open his eyes yet. “Me and my shitty luck,” Ozias mumbled, raising his weapon. Then he paused, his face paling. “Can this get any worse?” He couldn't help but say when he sensed two more Zombies entering his range from the opposite direction.
