CHAPTER FOUR

*" SILSA'S TEMPLE**

MARIUS

You've just crossed a treacherous border, where danger lurks at every turn.

Suddenly, a voice echoes through the thick darkness.

"Only time will tell if you've crossed the wrong lane," a harsh voice warns.

I retort angrily, "You have no idea who you're dealing with."

But then, a chorus of voices chimes in, "Oh, but we do."

My heart races as I demand,

"Stop spitting nonsense and show yourselves!"

As the shadows begin to shift and take shape, I can't help but laugh when I realize it's King Remus, playing yet another game.

"It's been too long,"

I teased him.

But he snaps back,

"I'm not under your authority, and I am not your match."

I smirk,

"And yet, you came seeking the seer's guidance then it means you're nothing but a weakling."

But he kept quiet

I make him an offer he can't refuse, "Join me as my personal guard when I become the king of the supernaturals."

The tension hangs thick in the air as we both wait for his response.

With a fiery determination burning within me, I glared at Remus, my eyes locked on the throne that rightfully belonged to me.

But he stood there, smug and confident, taunting me with his words.

"You are a mere dreamer,"

he sneered.

"And you will remain one because I am the rightful owner of that throne."

My blood boiled with anger as I charged towards him, my sword raised high but he was too quick, dodging my attack with ease.

"Go and learn some skills before thinking of attacking me,"

Remus mocked, his arrogance infuriating me even more.

I attacked again, my fury driving me forward but once again, Remus evaded me effortlessly.

"Your skills may have improved,"

I growled,

"but I know how to handle you."

With a swift movement, I twisted my hand and struck at him seven times. But to my surprise, no fire formed.

Confused, I looked up to see the seer standing beside Remus, signaling that the use of powers was prohibited in her temple.

Filled with a dangerous mix of hatred and anger, I gave Remus one last glare before disappearing into the thick, dark night, determined to dealth with him at all cost

** GREEN VALLEY KINGDOM**

DEREK

As Queen Chiara continued to rant about Marius' arrogance, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Something was brewing, and I could feel it in my bones.

"I don't know why he's so full of himself,"

I muttered under my breath, trying to shake off the ominous feeling that hung in the air.

But Queen Chiara was too caught up in her own excitement to notice.

"All I know is that a new king will emerge," she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with anticipation and am I am very much happy that the king, as prophesied, will not be among them."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

Chiara was always one for dramatics, but this time, I couldn't shake the feeling that she was right.

"I don't think it's time to rejoice yet," I said, my voice low and serious. "Instead, let's wait and see the manifestation of the prophecy because those three kings can do the unimaginable, especially Marius."

My frustration and anger were palpable, but Queen Chiara remained unfazed.

"Whatever the case might be," she said, her voice tinged with concern.

"I just hope that this new king that is about to emerge will be able to tackle the problems the supernaturals are facing, essentially the enmity which has been inherited for ages."

As we sat in silence, waiting for the prophecy to unfold, I couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. Would Marius' arrogance lead to his downfall? Or would the new king rise to the challenge and bring peace to our troubled world?

Only time would tell, and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out.

As I spoke, a shiver ran down my spine.

"We could never underestimate his abilities, nor fathom the extent of his potential.

The looming threat of his arrival hung heavy in the air, suffocating us with uncertainty.

But for now, we could only cling to hope, praying for a miracle to save us all"

I blurted out confused

Suddenly, Chiara's words pierced through the silence like a knife making my heart skipped a beat as her revelation sent chills down my spine.

" How could we have missed this? The cruel and heartless kings had been leading our kind to their doom all along, and we were none the wiser"

"The weight of the impending collapse of the supernatural world bore down on us, threatening to crush us under its immense pressure would and the question here is we will be able to survive this Or would we be doomed to a fate worse than death?

Only time would tell, and the suspense was killing us."

She added before we finally departed

**********

As I arrived at the palace, my heart was pounding with anticipation.

But as I approached the door, my worst fears were confirmed - it had been broken down.

I took a deep breath and stepped inside, my senses on high alert.

Every creak of the floorboards made me jump, every shadow seemed to be hiding something sinister.

Suddenly, a dark figure darted past me with lightning speed.

I froze in terror, my mind racing with questions.

"Who was this intruder, and what were they after?"

I summoned all my courage and demanded answers.

"Who are you, and why are you in my kingdom?"

I demanded, my voice shaking with fear and authority.

The figure turned to face me, its features obscured by the darkness. "And who are you to question me on my mission?"

it hissed, its voice sending chills down my spine.

The suspense was unbearable like what was this mysterious figure after, and what did it mean for the safety of my kingdom?

"I don't give a damn who sent you,"

I spat, my voice dripping with venom. "But you better leave or you'll regret it."

Silence hung heavy in the air, broken only by the sound of my pounding heart.

Suddenly, a deep, menacing laughter echoed through the room, sending chills down my spine and then, as if by magic, a figure began to materialize before my very eyes.

I gasped in horror as I realized who my invader was.

It was someone I never expected to see again, someone I thought was long gone.

And now, they were standing right in front of me, ready to unleash their wrath.
