San Francisco was immersed in a sea of people tonight.

Fortunately, they went out early tonight, leaving the house at around seven-thirty, or it would have been challenging to find an ideal spot to watch the fireworks by the river.

Due to the large number of people passing by, the outdoor bars by the river were closed. To protect the fireworks, one could only find a place to stand.

Because of the crowd, Jonathan held Curtis in his arms, not daring to let her down. Adela walked closely beside him.

They genuinely looked like a family of three.

“In the kitchen earlier, I saw Aunt Sienna talking with you. What were you two talking about?” Jonathan initiated a conversation while waiting for the fireworks to begin.

“Does it have anything to do with you?” Adela asked back, but her cheeks flushed pink.

It certainly did.

Tonight’s conversation topics between her mother and her revolved around Jonathan.
