"Did you miss your way?" A sudden hoarse voice knocked Jaai out of his thoughts.

Ever since he stepped out of the cab, his gaze has been glued to the blue car that was parked on the other side of the road. The car looked familiar, but he wasn't sure what to think.

Now that he has been interrupted, he could focus on why he had come here.

"Is the director home?" Jaai went straight to the point.

He could see the condescending look in the eyes of the gate man. That was not his business. It wasn't his fault that some people don't understand what basic manner means!

"Even if he is home, he surely does not want to see you." The gate man argued.

"You either open the door or we make a scene here. The choice is yours." Jaai was very resolute as he staked his claim.

The gate man was surprised to see him act like this. Jaai was usually an easygoing man. The fact that he was acting like this must mean that something is wrong.

The gate man thought for a moment. His boss didn't tell him anything about Jaai, so he didn't know how to react to the sudden change in Jaai's reaction. He knew that Jaai runs errand for the director all the time, so Jaai might be here on another errand.

The gate man didn't want to lose his job while trying to caress his ego.

He stepped out of the way and Jaai walked straight in.

When Jaai got to the door, he pushed the doorbell first. He wanted to push it the second time when he noticed that the door was not locked.

"Why did he leave the door open?" Jaai wondered as he carefully pushed the door open.

He was about to announce himself when he suddenly stepped on something. He stopped in his tracks for a moment and looked down.

He had stepped on a shoe. He gently kicked the shoe to the side to clear his path. Looking up again, he became aware of the situation.

There were red panties, tie, trousers, bras et cetera, littered all over the floor from the door towards the couch.

Jaai sighed. He knew that his boss has been seeing a lady recently, but it has never been his business to try and find out who the lady was.

In fact, most times whenever he was attending to the boss, the man would be on a call with the lady laughing and making jokes.

Jaai was disappointed. He figured that this might not be the right time to meet the director. No man would ever leave sex midway to attend to business.

He didn't want to leave at once. He was reluctant. Yet, he understood the complications of the situation he was in.

What if his boss found him here, wouldn't he be mistaken for a thief of some sort? He might be accused for break-in.

He looked at his old wristwatch. The leather of the wristwatch was torn in several places but the engine was working quite well.

"It's 1pm. I can go and return in an hour. He should be done by then." Jaai decided and turned to leave.

He was scared to disappoint his wife again. It was already enough that the whole family of his wife thought of him as a deadbeat who didn't deserve their beautiful daughter and sister!

Perhaps if he makes her happy this once, they will start showing him some respect and stop tormenting him with the idea of marrying her off to someone who was very much wealthier than him.

He pulled the door open and was about to step out when he heard a door creak open behind him.

He stopped at once and turned with the same breath.

When he turned, he saw his boss wearing only his boxer's short. Jaai could see an outline of his recently softened rod.

When the director saw him, he froze at the spot. Jaai was stunned by how frozen his boss looked.

Naturally, if the Director walks in on him, the director would hardly look at him or even tell him off at the same instance.

But right now, the Director was staring at him like he had just seen a ghost. Jaai couldn't understand, but he didn't really mind.

"Director." Jaai called, taking two bold steps back into the living room.

"You! What the hell are you doing here?" The director snapped, getting a grip of himself again.

Jaai refused to be intimidated by the loud voice of the director. He knew why he was here. It was his right to collect his salary!

"This." Jaai brought out the envelope, walking closer. He stopped again by the couch. "This is why I am here."

"What the hell is even that?" The director yelled. He looked very nervous and impatient.

It would seem as though he wanted to get rid of Jaai as soon as possible.

"Don't you know about it? Did the secretary do this all by herself? Didn't she tell you first?" Jaai wondered, getting his hopes up.

"That's right. I was confused. I have always dedicated my energy and time to working for the progress of this firm! It didn't make any sense that you would sack me out of the blue." Jaai defended himself brilliantly, getting really enraged at the secretary.

"You can just ignore me and return to what you were doing. I'll go meet her right now that she was mistaking!" Jaai smiled brightly as he turned around.

"This loser." The director murmured, watching as Jaai turned to leave. "What a bother."

Jaai didn't hear this, so he was ecstatic as he headed to the door.

Jaai stopped all of a sudden,

"How about my salary? Should I put you on the phone when I get to the office?"

"Bring my trouser." The director said all of a sudden.

Jaai quickly returned to the couch and picked up the trouser. Was the director going to call the secretary and scold her for being rude to the employee of the month? Jaai couldn't wait!

"Dip your hand in the back pocket." The director instructed.

Jaai did as told but all of a sudden he froze. He looked straight at the boss. He slowly pulled out what was at the back pocket. It was durex. A pack of condom!

Jaai swallowed at first. He hated insults. He found this very disrespectful. But since the director wanted to help him get his job back, he would let it go.

He took the pack of condom and climbed up the staircase towards the director.

"Here." He handed the pack of condom to the boss.

"Now leave and never come back." The director said bluntly then turned around to leave.

Jaai was stupefied in the first few seconds, but he quickly got a grip of himself. Then he got a grip of the Director's arm.

"What do you mean?" Jaai tried to catch his breath. "Did you really sack me?!!!"

"What! Do you want me to throw a party at Eclipse Grande? A farewell party for a great worker?!" The Director scoffed. "Get over yourself. What a joke!"

The director tried to snatch his arm from Jaai's grip, but Jaai held on strongly.

"This little shit." The director was in disbelief. "Do you want to die? Let go right now!" He bellowed.

"After all I did for your firm? How could you do this? I was even with you in your office throughout yesterday! Where's this coming from?"

"Get lost, you entitled prick! I employed you and I can sack you whenever I want."

Jaai couldn't believe his ears. The director cannot be serious, can he?

"How about my salary?! At least give me this and I'll leave!"

"I promise you! What you'll be taking home will be a broken face if you don't let go of me right now!!!" The director blarred.

While the argument got heated, the door behind the director suddenly creaked open.

"Baby, what's taking you so long? I'm so fucking horny." A feminine voice said.

Jaai's gaze inadvertently shifted from the director to the lady who had just spoken.

When Jaai saw the lady, his head went blank and his entire body froze.

At that very moment, the director yanked his arm off Jaai's grasp and Jaai lost his balance.

He fell down from the top of the staircase, rolling to the floor as he bumped his head heavily against the floor…

How come he is here? "Is that the deadbeat?" Baron whispered, hardly looking at any member of his family. "Elaine's family surely know how to create a scene." Wirtz gritted his teeth. Ever since what Archie cost his family, Wirtz has been looking for a way to lay claim of a scapegoat on whom he would exhaust all his rage. "Why does he look quite different?" Archie muttered, snapping out of his own problems. "Different?" The lady with him wondered. "Yea. Like he's been spending on his skin lately." Archie added, nodding. Jaai stood at the door for a moment. His gaze traversed every corner of the hall. He looked from one family

Archie was looking like an imbecile who just transmigrated into a new planet. "Speak you fool!!!" Wirtz blarred like a siren. "It wasn't supposed to be like this. I did as told." Archie mumbled. "You did what? Who told you to do what?!" Elaine asked looking concerned. "The pot. I was supposed to hold it to his face for a while. It will help his bones. He will stop getting tired easily..." Archie tried to explain. "For how long?" The caregiver interrupted. "Huh? For how long were you told to hold the pot up?" "Long enough." Archie mumbled. "Get lost!!!" Wirtz barked. Archie felt useless and dejected. He still didn't understand what he did wrong. He dragged his feet away. "Enough." The old man called for order. "Father! We cannot let this slide. This could have gotten worse! We need to punish Archie and his entirely family!!!" Wirtz argued fervently. "Really, Wirtz? And his entire family?" Elaine asked. "Why drag his family into it when it was a mistake?""A mistake? Did you

His family will definitely get the favor of the old man. He could walk back to his family with his head in the sky. His father met him with a big smile. There was no limit to chivalry and planning. The fifth man was leading the way. He was making sure that there was no obstruction as the other four ventured through the aisle. The leader of the henchmen walked straight to Baron and Wirtz. He bowed to them, and the four took suit. "Why are you stopping here? Move along." Wirtz snapped at the men. The men quickly picked up themselves and headed straight to the patriarch. "I'll leave my son to do the honor of presenting this gift to you, father." Wirtz said with a full smile, placing his palm on his chest as he bowed. Then he took his seat. All eyes were on Baron and the five men. There were murmurs flying around. "His family loves to make a big show. What the hell." The son of the caregiver grunted as he watched. His wife, a young petite lady, held his hand to help calm his nerves. He took a gl
