"Did you miss your way?" A sudden hoarse voice knocked Jaai out of his thoughts.
Ever since he stepped out of the cab, his gaze has been glued to the blue car that was parked on the other side of the road. The car looked familiar, but he wasn't sure what to think. Now that he has been interrupted, he could focus on why he had come here. "Is the director home?" Jaai went straight to the point. He could see the condescending look in the eyes of the gate man. That was not his business. It wasn't his fault that some people don't understand what basic manner means! "Even if he is home, he surely does not want to see you." The gate man argued. "You either open the door or we make a scene here. The choice is yours." Jaai was very resolute as he staked his claim. The gate man was surprised to see him act like this. Jaai was usually an easygoing man. The fact that he was acting like this must mean that something is wrong. The gate man thought for a moment. His boss didn't tell him anything about Jaai, so he didn't know how to react to the sudden change in Jaai's reaction. He knew that Jaai runs errand for the director all the time, so Jaai might be here on another errand. The gate man didn't want to lose his job while trying to caress his ego. He stepped out of the way and Jaai walked straight in. When Jaai got to the door, he pushed the doorbell first. He wanted to push it the second time when he noticed that the door was not locked. "Why did he leave the door open?" Jaai wondered as he carefully pushed the door open. He was about to announce himself when he suddenly stepped on something. He stopped in his tracks for a moment and looked down. He had stepped on a shoe. He gently kicked the shoe to the side to clear his path. Looking up again, he became aware of the situation. There were red panties, tie, trousers, bras et cetera, littered all over the floor from the door towards the couch. Jaai sighed. He knew that his boss has been seeing a lady recently, but it has never been his business to try and find out who the lady was. In fact, most times whenever he was attending to the boss, the man would be on a call with the lady laughing and making jokes. Jaai was disappointed. He figured that this might not be the right time to meet the director. No man would ever leave sex midway to attend to business. He didn't want to leave at once. He was reluctant. Yet, he understood the complications of the situation he was in. What if his boss found him here, wouldn't he be mistaken for a thief of some sort? He might be accused for break-in. He looked at his old wristwatch. The leather of the wristwatch was torn in several places but the engine was working quite well. "It's 1pm. I can go and return in an hour. He should be done by then." Jaai decided and turned to leave. He was scared to disappoint his wife again. It was already enough that the whole family of his wife thought of him as a deadbeat who didn't deserve their beautiful daughter and sister! Perhaps if he makes her happy this once, they will start showing him some respect and stop tormenting him with the idea of marrying her off to someone who was very much wealthier than him. He pulled the door open and was about to step out when he heard a door creak open behind him. He stopped at once and turned with the same breath. When he turned, he saw his boss wearing only his boxer's short. Jaai could see an outline of his recently softened rod. When the director saw him, he froze at the spot. Jaai was stunned by how frozen his boss looked. Naturally, if the Director walks in on him, the director would hardly look at him or even tell him off at the same instance. But right now, the Director was staring at him like he had just seen a ghost. Jaai couldn't understand, but he didn't really mind. "Director." Jaai called, taking two bold steps back into the living room. "You! What the hell are you doing here?" The director snapped, getting a grip of himself again. Jaai refused to be intimidated by the loud voice of the director. He knew why he was here. It was his right to collect his salary! "This." Jaai brought out the envelope, walking closer. He stopped again by the couch. "This is why I am here." "What the hell is even that?" The director yelled. He looked very nervous and impatient. It would seem as though he wanted to get rid of Jaai as soon as possible. "Don't you know about it? Did the secretary do this all by herself? Didn't she tell you first?" Jaai wondered, getting his hopes up. "That's right. I was confused. I have always dedicated my energy and time to working for the progress of this firm! It didn't make any sense that you would sack me out of the blue." Jaai defended himself brilliantly, getting really enraged at the secretary. "You can just ignore me and return to what you were doing. I'll go meet her right now that she was mistaking!" Jaai smiled brightly as he turned around. "This loser." The director murmured, watching as Jaai turned to leave. "What a bother." Jaai didn't hear this, so he was ecstatic as he headed to the door. Jaai stopped all of a sudden, "How about my salary? Should I put you on the phone when I get to the office?" "Bring my trouser." The director said all of a sudden. Jaai quickly returned to the couch and picked up the trouser. Was the director going to call the secretary and scold her for being rude to the employee of the month? Jaai couldn't wait! "Dip your hand in the back pocket." The director instructed. Jaai did as told but all of a sudden he froze. He looked straight at the boss. He slowly pulled out what was at the back pocket. It was durex. A pack of condom! Jaai swallowed at first. He hated insults. He found this very disrespectful. But since the director wanted to help him get his job back, he would let it go. He took the pack of condom and climbed up the staircase towards the director. "Here." He handed the pack of condom to the boss. "Now leave and never come back." The director said bluntly then turned around to leave. Jaai was stupefied in the first few seconds, but he quickly got a grip of himself. Then he got a grip of the Director's arm. "What do you mean?" Jaai tried to catch his breath. "Did you really sack me?!!!" "What! Do you want me to throw a party at Eclipse Grande? A farewell party for a great worker?!" The Director scoffed. "Get over yourself. What a joke!" The director tried to snatch his arm from Jaai's grip, but Jaai held on strongly. "This little shit." The director was in disbelief. "Do you want to die? Let go right now!" He bellowed. "After all I did for your firm? How could you do this? I was even with you in your office throughout yesterday! Where's this coming from?" "Get lost, you entitled prick! I employed you and I can sack you whenever I want." Jaai couldn't believe his ears. The director cannot be serious, can he? "How about my salary?! At least give me this and I'll leave!" "I promise you! What you'll be taking home will be a broken face if you don't let go of me right now!!!" The director blarred. While the argument got heated, the door behind the director suddenly creaked open. "Baby, what's taking you so long? I'm so fucking horny." A feminine voice said. Jaai's gaze inadvertently shifted from the director to the lady who had just spoken. When Jaai saw the lady, his head went blank and his entire body froze. At that very moment, the director yanked his arm off Jaai's grasp and Jaai lost his balance. He fell down from the top of the staircase, rolling to the floor as he bumped his head heavily against the floor…Latest Chapter
Chapter 113
'Eon' That was the name that the elderly woman had just referred to him as. No one, in his nearest memories had ever called him by that name. In fact, he had thought that the name was just a spinoff of his surname. The fact that this elderly woman had just mentioned that name of his, he couldn't help but be moved. There was no lie that this woman knew him personally. Jaai knew that he didn't have to do anything just yet. He could just allow the moment unfold gradually. She seemed to be going through a lot of emotions. He couldn't take that away from her. While he she was hugging him and crying, Jaai was trying to think of a couple of things, too. But no matter how hard he was trying to reach into the shelves of memories, nothing seemed to work. "There she is!!!" A sudden masculine voice built behind them. When the woman heard the voice, she pulled away from Jaia instantly. The feelings and emotions she was going through seemed to have vanished into thin air because of the recent

"Hold on." Jaai tried to catch his breath. "Are you saying that the memory of my time here at the orphanage was wiped off as a consequence of mr triggering the task?" Jaai wanted to be certain that he wasn't hearing things. "You see, a system has a pattern. These set of patterns is why it's called a system. If there are altercations then there would consequences. I'm sorry that I didn't inform you about that earlier." Mumuthebull bowed to him again. Jaai had no idea why his eyes always fall on her big tits whenever she bowed to him. He could swear that it was never his intention to do that. Especially not at this moment when his mind was boggled. "But why? Why that memory of all memories? Why wasn't it one of the memories I had during the task, especially the one with those jerks!!!" He yelled. "If what you mean is the memory that served as the cheat code for the completion of your first task, then that's rather improbable." She explained. Jaai didn't know what to say to her. She

The phone slid down from Jaai's cheeks and he stared at it for a moment. His facial expression held a note of disappointment."Why isn't she answering my call?" He muttered, staring at the screen for the moment.[Ping! You've arrived at your destination]Jaai was kicked out of the thoughts by the automated voice of the virtual map on the dashboard of the Bugatti Veyron. He pulled over tightly by a corner then stepped out.He looked around where he was. It was a slum. The houses here were too shabby to be the home of anyone. A foggy feeling clouded his mind as he stared at the environment. He had decided to park the car here because he didn't want to stir any kind of attention. He still needed to walk at least a mile before getting to his exact destination. He had made sure to inquire of Diane well about the location before setting out for the journey. He didn't want to do anything that he would regret, or cause anyone trouble. After walking for several minutes, he cut the last turn an
Chapter 110
As soon as Steven walked out of the restaurant, the lanky man walked back in and dropped on his knees in front of Diane. "Did you tell him yet?" The man asked, hardly looking into her eyes out of respect. "He doesn't have to know yet." She replied briefly. "He loves money. I'm sure he'll do this for influence and the incentive. Meeting me means a lot to him and he would want to meet me over and over again."The man was silent for a while after her explanation. Even though he hadn't spoken a word yet, Diane could tell that there was something on his mind. "Spill it." She demanded. "I'm just worried about how this will play out." He replied carefully. "Speak in plain words to me." She demanded. "If they both discover whom they are later in the future, how would it look?" He asked, more like speaking to himself than he was to her. "The butler of an old family found his young master after decades. What would the scenes and emotions be?"Diane's gaze was keen on the face of the henc

Steven couldn't ask her directly how she came to know his name, but that question was killing him. He wished he could summon the courage to question a woman as powerful as Diane. It was already a wonder and shock how he found himself here, talk more of pressing the matter with intent. "You've met, Jaai." She continued, staring at him with utter seriousness. Steven swallowed a lump, not sure of how to react to this. The dead seriousness on her face was something that would naturally spark curiosity and fear inside him. "Jaai? I'm not sure if I've heard that name before." Steven tried to bring back a couple of recent memories, but the name didn't ring a note. Of course he had spoken with a couple of people who had given him money out of goodwill. In fact, some of them would tell him their names and encourage him never to give up. There was a preacher whom he came in contact with a week ago. The preacher had come to lighten his heart with a good news. At first, it was all beautiful
Chapter 108
Jaai was in disbelief and in utter confusion as he stared at his phone. What had just happened was something that he didn't prepare for. He went from expecting the call of someone to hearing the voice of an entirely different person. He redialed the number that had just called him. He put it on speaker, waiting for the receiver to answer the call. The call rang for a while then it dropped. Jaai tried again and again until the line said it was out of coverage. Jaai swallowed a lump, staring into the space as though he was trying to summon something. "Who could that be?" His heart was heavy from thoughts. There were speculations that he didn't want to give life to. The fact that the voice was that of an elderly person, and it was soft and teary left Jaai even more confused, dying to get the exact detail of the person who had called. While he was thinking about this, something suddenly popped up in his mind. He scrolled through his contacts for a while and dialed the number of Diane
