Chapter 2

Tom grinned as he saw Desmond lunging towards him; he wasn't afraid because Desmond couldn't fight.

Smack! Smack!! Smack!!!

Instead of being able to hit Tom, Desmond was severely beaten; his face was so battered that he might have died if there had been no merchant to stop Tom.

"Pooh! Dogs like you will always be rubbish! Let's go!" taunted Tom before asking his subordinates to leave.

Desmond's regular greengrocer pulled him to his feet, "Go home, don't push yourself next time."

Desmond just nodded while enduring the pain; he picked up his groceries, and all the people in the market, instead of pitying Desmond, stared at the man disgustedly.

Desmond was so used to their stares that he didn't care, so he returned to the house with stumbling steps.

Arriving home, Desmond put his groceries away and lightly treated his bruises with an ice pack.

Desmond's life is very painful, but he also has no choice but to survive, even though sometimes despair appears in his mind.

After compressing his bruises, Desmond took a short rest before resuming his activities as the Batford family's housekeeper.

Until late afternoon, she started cooking for the special guest dinner that her mother-in-law said she was having.

Desmond has cooked so much that the dining table is full of his cooking tonight.

There was the sound of a car entering the yard, not Wrenley's car but Martin's car carrying Wrenley.

Martin was seen embracing Wrenley into the house; the two were intimate.

Elizabeth, who saw Martin, welcomed him very kindly, "Martin, welcome, come on in, we've prepared a special dinner for you!"

"Madam is very kind; thank you for the welcome," Martin said kindly.

They entered the house to the dining table; Wrenley and Martin still looked very intimate; when they arrived at the dining table, suddenly Desmond, who saw it, was surprised.

"What the hell! Let go of my wife!" yelled Desmond sternly when he saw Martin embracing his wife intimately.

Pluck!

"Shut up, Desmond! I've had it with you! We're divorced as of today!" Wrenley immediately threw the divorce papers at Desmond.

Desmond was dumbfounded that Wrenley slapped him; he picked up the divorce papers; how surprised Desmond was when he saw the divorce papers for him.

"Honey, this is a lie, right?" Desmond still couldn't believe it.

"Never mind, Desmond, you saw for yourself that Wrenley prefers me to you; you should realise yourself," Martin smirked at Desmond.

"No! This has to be a lie, love?" Desmond tried to grab Wrenley's hand, but Wrenley shook him off.

"That's enough, Desmond! I don't want to see you anymore; I've endured enough ridicule from my friends! Now that you're out of here, we're divorced!" roared Wrenley angrily.

Whack!

Elizabeth threw Desmond's bag, "I've sorted out your old stuff. Get out of here!"

Elizabeth had already put Desmond's things in a bag when Wrenley told her that Martin would marry her.

Wrenley and Martin also went straight to the divorce office to make divorce papers; in the city of Aradonia, if you have money, then you can get anything, especially Martin, one of the children of the upper class.

Desmond wanted to speak again, but Elizabeth told Vicky to drag him out of the house so he could only surrender.

Vicky throws Desmond, while Elizabeth takes Desmond's bag and throws it at the man who falls in front of the door.

"Go far away! Don't ever come back to this house! Because this house doesn't accept you anymore!" Elizabeth scolded as she shut the door firmly.

Desmond was still stunned in his place, he did not expect his fate to be like that.

Suddenly, the sky darkened, and thunder and lightning could be heard. Raindrops began to fall.

Desmond instantly came to his senses; he hugged his bag and hurried away. He occasionally turned his head towards the door, hoping that Wrenley would change her mind, but his hopes were already dashed as his wife did not care about him.

In the pouring rain, Desmond walked with unsteady steps; he no longer had the spirit of life; he thought it was better to die than to live meaninglessly.

Desmond looked up, and he shouted, "If you want to kill me, kill me! I have no meaning in this world anymore! You're unfair!"

Desmond's scream was accompanied by lightning that kept flashing to and fro until the lightning struck Desmond; the man reflexively threw his bag.

Boom!

Crack!!!

The sound of the strike was so loud that you could hear Desmond's skull shatter.

Desmond collapsed on the road with a burnt body and a smashed head. But suddenly, there was a voice.

[Start of body unification with Master]

Desmond's body seemed to be electrified; suddenly, his burnt body gradually recovered to its original state.

[Super Crazy System successfully installed!]

[Congratulations, Mr 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollars!]

Shocked by the lightning, Desmond's head slowly returned to its original state. Desmond's battered face had returned to its original state, and even the man looked more charismatic.

Desmond slowly opened his eyes; there was a slight flash of electricity in his eyes; the man then got up slowly.

[Welcome, sir, I am your assistant, if there is anything to ask, please ask me]

Desmond was not surprised at all by the presence of the Super Crazy System because his brain had evolved and merged with the System, so he automatically knew about the System.

"Noisy, be quiet for a while! My head still hurts!" reprimanded Desmond to the System.

[Yes, Mr Desmond Emmanuel]

The rain slowly stopped; Desmond looked at the sky, "Is this your answer? Thank you for listening to me! Now it's time for me to take hold of this rotten world!"

There was a wicked grin on the corners of Desmond's lips; he had completely changed after getting a new Evolutionary body and brain.

"System! Can you book the nearest hotel from here?" asked Desmond as he grabbed a change of clothes from his bag as he was now without a single piece of clothing due to being struck by lightning.

[Of course, sir!]

[Start booking hotel]

[1%... 10%... 25%... 50%... 99%... 100%]

[Order successful!]

[Sir, I have booked a VIP room at Primrose Hotel!]

"Good! We're going there now!" said Desmond, putting on his clothes.

Desmond walked leisurely in his drenched clothes to the Primrose Hotel, which was quite close to the housing estate.
