Benjamin's face was definitely a study in confusion. He looked from the older man to the others, then back again. He lifted his hand to shake the man out of politeness.

He didn't waste time in asking however,

“Who are you and what do you want with me?”

The older man cleared his throat, ridding his face of any kind of expression and doing his best to keep a level of professionalism in his extremely respectful manner.

“I am Herbert McKlin, master Knox. If you wouldn't mind coming with us, you will be made fully aware of what this is all about.”

He gestured to the car he'd just alighted from, urging Benjamin to enter.

Benjamin looked at the car, then back at Herbert.

“You really think I'm going to get into a car with some strangers? Just like that?”

He wanted to say that he was sure they had the wrong person and they should just leave him alone to deal with his issues. But they knew his name. And there weren't very many Knoxes around this region.

Then a thought dawned on him.

Andrew.

The asshole could have sent these men to ‘make him disappear’. But it looked a bit overkill, even for Andrew. And the cars these men brought were almost thrice as expensive as Andrew's. Even if he didn't know the extent of Andrew's family's wealth and they actually could afford these, he didn't think they would expend this much on a pauper like him.

“Mr Knox, I assure you, we have no intention of harming you in any way. We would just like to have a civil conversation with you.”

Benjamin scoffed, taking a step backward.

“Aren't we civil enough right now? We can have the conversation right here.”

Herbert was becoming a bit unsettled, he didn't like where this was headed.

“Sir, it is paramount that you follow us, I must appeal to your better judgement on this please.”

Benjamin wasn't convinced. He was the only one who could care for his grandmother. If anything happened to him without anyone who could take care of her, he would hate himself.

He frowned.

“I'm sorry but I can't. If you cannot say whatever you want here then you'll have to forget about it.” He gave a polite nod and then turned to walk away.

Herbert nodded at the men and they instantly sprang into action, surrounding Benjamin.

“What the hell!” Benjamin yelled, pushing them out of his path but failing at it miserably because these men felt like they were chiseled out of rock.

“Please come with us young master.” the one who looked like the leader, stated calmly, firmly urging Benjamin in the direction of the third vehicle.

“I said no!” Benjamin flung a punch at the guy, sending him stumbling a few steps.

The other guys immediately closed the gap, holding on firmly to Benjamin. But Benjamin didn't give up, he kicked at as many as he could but it was like they just kept coming.

He realised that they weren't retaliating to his violent attempts but merely trying to contain him.

He tried headbutting one of them to provoke them and ruin their formation but the guy dodged and the rest used that opportunity to bundle him into the car.

“Help! Somebody help!” Benjamin screamed, but it was futile, there was nobody around, and Herbert had him right where he wanted already.

He kept trying to struggle but they overpowered him and next thing he knew, his hands were being tied together.

“What the hell! What is the meaning of this! Is this being civil?” Benjamin kept yelling.

Herbert slid in next to him, his expression apologetic.

“I apologise, master Knox for the somewhat inhuman treatment but really I have no choice. I hope you forgive me when you realise why I had to do this.”

“Damn you!” Benjamin spat, his entire body vibrating from restrained anger as the vehicle sped out of there.

They drove for a while. Giving Benjamin time for his anger to dissipate. He was still pissed but his thoughts had begun to be reoriented. What could they possibly want with him? They'd basically abducted him. But he couldn't think of anyone he could possibly have offended to warrant this.

They soon reached what looked like a remote estate. As they drove through the gate into the area, Benjamin could feel himself begin to be taken away by the aura of the place. They had long left the city and were on the outskirts of town and the vegetation had been beautiful but inside the estate it was even more so.

Every inch of this estate screamed luxury. The trees seemed to have been crafted by the hands of humans, yet, the fruit some of these trees bear was proof that nature had been allowed to take its course as well.

As they arrived at the house— a mansion that challenged the white house in every ramification, Benjamin's jaw dropped.

His eyes widened and every shred of anger was replaced by awe.

The area was like a presidential villa. There were armed guards and bodyguards everywhere, looking like something out of a James Bond movie. Benjamin couldn't believe his eyes.

What could a person who dwelled in this sort of place possibly want with him?

Herbert got out of the car and gestured for Benjamin to do same.

“Welcome home, Master Knox.” Herbert bowed as he made this greeting.

Benjamin could care less though, as he was still looking around at the magnificence and pure opulence of this place!

He was soon led inside and it was as though the outside paled to what was contained inside. His mouth became permanently agape as he stared around at the grandiosity that was the complex architecture of this mansion. The place was basically like a modern palace. He could almost swear that he was in the home of some sort of royalty.

He was directed by Herbert into a large hall where he found an old man sitting at the end of the exquisitely designed room.

This old man immediately sprang up, his eyes lighting up as soon as he saw Benjamin.

“Oh my God! My grandson is finally home!”

Benjamin didn't hold back at all. With his fist blazing with the blue flame, he smashed it straight into the face of Don Christ Stoop. As a result, the direct impact was so great that Benjamin's fist actually smashed right through Don Christ Stoop's face, breaking out through the back of his head. The blue flame gushed out behind Don Christ Stoop's body, burning everything over twenty feet from where Benjamin stood. It took a couple of seconds for the blue flame to settle, and by the time Benjamin could get a clear view of his victim, he found that there was practically no head on Don Christ Stoop's body. He had smashed his brain to splattered tissues on the ground, burning away under the blue flame that consumed each piece with fierce hunger. The man was definitely dead.Lady Anna Ray, on the other hand, didn't even get the time needed to feel the severed bond as her lover and other half lost his life. She hung in the air, squeezed under the invisible force of April's telekinesis. For these psychics, telekinesis is their most basic yet most feasible ability ever, especially when fighting in the physical plane. They could use it in offense and defense modes. There's even an auxiliary mode which is used to help them fly. If there was any soul watching the battle, all they would see between the psychics is a bunch of air movements, making them think these people were manipulating the wind around them. Yet, that was not the case. They were simply using the invisible forces of their telekinetic abilities to attack one another. One impact can send the target flying through the air. These women are clearly trying to kill each other in one fell swoop at this point. But that wasn't even all of it. April and Anna were also deploying their telepathy, clairvoyance, Retrocognition, and Precognition to mess with each other's minds, trying to throw the other off their game so they would make one grave mistake that would leave the opponents vulnerable to the telekinetic atta

Everything was over for Christ Stoop and Anna Ray. They have reached this point. Their home base was totally ruined, and the majority of their subordinates had been killed off, the last of whom Benjamin and April had killed off with the flaming rocks that they sent smashing down on them like meteorites with deep grudges against humanity. Now, in this large estate of ruined land, stood only the Son and his lady. As it turns out, they had deeply underestimated this young couple, overly confident in their own abilities that they overlooked a lot of issues. It could be said that ruling from their grand thrones for so many years with very little to lose had caused their ability to judge to be slightly jaded, which has now led them to this point.Benjamin and April weren't just a pair of ordinary human beings. They are just like them, except better. Perfect. Complete. All of these words should have prompted Christ and Anna to think things through and prepare thoroughly for any possible mis

April smirked as she levitated forward slightly.“Energy Healing. Have you ever heard of this, Lady Anna?”Lady Anna gasped, her eyes widening in shock, and she couldn't help it as she stumbled backward.“Energy Healing. Oh my goodness, you had energy healing. Isn't that supposed to be the higher manifestations of the psychic powers that have matured in her evolution?”She stared off into the space of nothingness as she continued speaking with a broken voice. “Any psychic with their Energy Healing ability manifested would truly be akin to a god. With that ability, they are practically immortal and can heal every wound in their body as long as they still possess their awareness of the physical realm. Even the brain and heart can be regenerated from the last living cell within minutes, not to mention the rest of the body.”Lady Anna looked truly broken as she shook her head.“Such power. You had it, and yet….”She gasped, her eyes regaining focus she whipped her head back up to look a

There was a sudden burst of wind that sent many of the rocks and broken concrete parts of the mansion flying everywhere, striking a few unfortunate thugs of the Skull High Gang, including the ones who had boldly stepped forward to dig out the bodies of Benjamin and April, according to Don Christ Stoop's order. There was a huge gust of wind now blowing around as two people calmly stepped out from beneath the rubble of the collapsed building.“Who said we needed help getting out ourselves?! Christ Stoop, you didn't think you'd won, did you?”Don Christ Stoop and Lady Anna Ray were both shocked as they were now looking at the dust-stained faces of Benjamin and April. With their eyes sharp with vitality, they both raised their left hand to the sky, where the broken concrete engulfed in the fierce blue flames could be seen hanging in the air. There was no better proof to be found. It's definitely April that's using her telekinesis to hold these rocks in the air while Benjamin had put the

If there was anyone watching from the outside, no one would have seen a shit inside. It was nothing but a gigantic semi-orb of fire.Inside this semi orb of intense fire, Olivia, Max, Anthony, and Jason were all inside the SUV, which was now the only thing standing between them and the ruthless grip of death just outside. The multiple layers of fire field that the SUV has created were disintegrated one by one, and at a rapid rate, causing the overall energy reserve of the customized SUV to drop as well. With every passing minute of the fire raging within the dome that refuses to budge, the SUV was, unfortunately, bearing the brunt of the blast.Minutes later, the SUV now only had one last layer of forcefield between itself and the fierce fire trying to consume everything inside it. It was almost like the soul of Dr. Tank Kla
