Chap 9: VVIP Guest's

"Mr. Austin Whisley Dalbert, you officially take back your restaurant property rights. Your remaining debt to the bank has been paid off," said one of the bank officers who finished removing the foreclosure attributes at Austin's restaurant.

Austin reached out and shook the bank officer's hand. His smile curved in relief.

"Thank you, sir," Austin replied formally.

The bank officer then left Austin and Rudolf's presence. After the bank officer's departure, Austin's gaze shifted to the building before his eyes.

Austin watched for a moment, remembering that this small restaurant building was proof of his hard work. Since Austin could not reveal his identity and wealth, he had to start his personal business from scratch.

"I've only owned this little restaurant for years of hard work," Austin told Rudolf.

Next to Austin, Rudolf looked at the simple building with a detailed view. Actually, although small, Austin's restaurant building design is quite eye-catching. It's just that some corners look unkempt.

"You don't have much money to pay for the restoration of this building, do you?" replied Rudolf without taking his eyes off it.

Austin nodded his head. "Yes. The family who took me in kept asking for money, and I paid the rent on our apartment," he said, starting to tell a story.

After a moment of silence between them, Austin continued, "Since I married Ellina, I've also given my money to her. I try to be a husband who can provide for her financially."

"You must be exhausted because Ellina is a woman who loves luxury goods."

Hearing that, Austin just chuckled. He did not reply as the system's hologram screen appeared in front of his face. Austin was a bit startled, almost jerking back, but he tried to hold his body.

Austin then took out his cell phone to check his account. There, Austin can read the amount of money that has increased abundantly.

[Remaining Balance: $129,599,970]

Austin's mouth dropped open in disbelief. This was a huge amount of money! In his entire life, Austin had never seen this amount of money in his account!

'How is this possible? I didn't do anything big, but I got this much money!' Austin thought to himself.

Even though he had already inherited from his parents, this amount of money was still astounding. Austin still had to manage all his inheritance rights from scratch.

Because for years Austin did not know how his parents' company worked. Also, Austin does not have much knowledge to manage the company.

That is the reason why getting inheritance rights must be balanced with commensurate management knowledge.

His surprised reaction caught the attention of Rudolf who had been watching the restaurant.

"What's wrong, Austin?" asked Rudolf who had been looking at Austin worriedly.

Austin immediately looked back at Rudolf and realized that his reaction was excessive. At that moment Austin immediately shook his head while giving an awkward smile.

"It's okay, Mr. Rudolf. I was just... surprised to read that there was a description of the food promo menu," Austin lied back.

Rudolf didn't immediately believe Austin's words. He realized that Austin's gesture seemed to be hiding something. However, Rudolf decided not to prolong the topic.

"Gosh, you're hungry," Rudolf replied with a chuckle. "How about you start your business now, Austin? I'll be your first customer."

Austin thought he had heard Rudolf wrong. But after seeing Rudolf's reassuring smile, Austin couldn't help but laugh with relief.

"Alright. Welcome my first customer, Mr. Rudolf!" Austin welcomed Rudolf as if welcoming an exclusive unknown guest.

(10 Days Later)

It's been one week since Austin's restaurant opened to the public. Austin deliberately disguised himself as a waiter in his restaurant to monitor the progress of sales. Within one week, Austin's restaurant, which had received a building renovation, was slowly crowded.

Ever since Rudolf deliberately left a review of the restaurant, several people have tried to come. Austin didn't expect Rudolf to have such a big impact.

Today is Sunday. Austin was surprised that since the restaurant opened, the diners haven't stopped coming.

"Charlotte, two orders of French Mayo and Smoked Salmon combo side dish!" Austin called out to Charlotte who was the main chef at this restaurant.

Charlotte just gave him a thumbs up and smiled obediently.

Then when Austin had finished attaching the order papers to the hanging rope, Austin was about to return to guard. But it turned out that behind him was Kimberly, the woman who became the manager of this restaurant.

Because Austin didn't want himself to be exposed as the owner of the restaurant, he deliberately looked for a manager to manage. Rudolf took care of that.

Even Kimberly didn't know that Austin was the owner of the restaurant.

"The side dishes here are very popular," Kimberly says, her gaze twinkling with relief at the bustling restaurant.

Austin stopped walking. He looked in the direction Kimberly was looking, and smiled too.

"They seem to be crazy about the promo prices, Miss Kimberly," Austin replied without losing his respect.

Kimberly chuckled. "Who doesn't love promos? Ever since we introduced the side dish promo at the grand opening, the restaurant has been packed."

"Isn't the crowd also thanks to Mr. Rudolf's help?" Austin remembered that when the restaurant first opened, it was Rudolf who helped him gain popularity.

Kimberly nodded. "That's right. Mr. Rudolf had a hand in the restaurant's development."

Austin didn't answer again. This time Austin just paid attention to the crowd situation. It was such a relief to see his restaurant experiencing the same crowds as the first time he bought the shop.

"Oh, I forgot, we have a VVIP guest coming today," Kimberly said, warmly informing him. "This is the first time we've had a VVIP guest!"

Austin's eyebrows furrowed. "Who's the VVIP guest, Miss?" he asked.

Before Kimberly could answer Austin's question, there was a sudden tinkling of bells. A sign that a guest was coming through the door.

Kimberly and Austin's attention was immediately drawn to the source of the sound. At that moment, Austin's whole body suddenly stiffened when he witnessed the arrival of Ellina, Jack, Simon, Petra, Katherine, and Luciana.

"These are our first VVIP guests, Austin. Welcome them," Kimberly said giving orders.

In the midst of his dumbfounded state, Austin turned to Kimberly, wearing a confused expression on his face.

"I'm welcoming them?" What a silly question. However, Austin really didn't expect that he would have to face Ellina and Jack's family again.

"Of course. The other waiters are serving guests, Austin. You're the only one with time," Kimberly replied. "I can wait here. Bring them to me."

Despite his apprehension, Austin was finally forced to go to Ellina and Jack's family.

At first they didn't realize Austin's existence. But after Ellina patted Simon and pointed at Austin, Simon and the others immediately realized.

"Oh my, Austin!" Jack greeted him with a big smile. "Hey, idiot, do you have another job as a waiter now?"

Austin tried to contain himself at Jack's mocking sarcasm.

Arriving in front of them, Austin bowed in respect.

"Welcome, our VVIP guests. I am the butler who will help provide service to you," Austin said, introducing himself.

In front of Austin, Ellina and Jack's family smiled sarcastically. Their gaze condescended to Austin.

"Austin... my guess was right. In the end you remained a servant. No progress in your life. Poor you, Austin."
