With a smile on his face, Quentin Mellon stood alongside the Bloom family, finding it almost unbelievable that Joanna had secured the contract in such a short span of time and they thought he had something to do with it.

Even Quentin's father hadn't been able to connect with someone who knew someone associated with General Manager Marshall himself. It was a complex web of connections.

"You don't understand how grateful our family is to you, Mr. Mellon," Madame Alice expressed, her gaze warm and her smile radiant.

Quentin shook his head politely. "Please, call me Quentin, ma'am. I simply did what I could to help Joanna in her time of need," he replied humbly.

Deep down, Quentin knew that they had no knowledge of who had truly helped them or if luck had favored their cause. So, taking credit for the successful outcome wouldn't come back to haunt him in any way.
