The person that had just arrived was none other than Officer Conrad of the security bureau, whom Trevor recognized easily. Not long ago, the two of them had gotten into a brief confrontation regarding the exposure of the laboratory where Cale had escaped from.

Back then, their interaction had been brief—Trevor had been given the order to clean up the laboratory before the security bureau raided the place, in order to prevent any secrets from being leaked while also delaying time for Hive to arrive.

That was how the two of them met for the first time, but now here they were meeting once again in this unprecedented manner.

As for why Officer Conrad would be appearing here now and at this time, well, given the circumstances surrounding their previous meeting and the current situation, Trevor could only suspect that Conrad had discovered something during their first meeting which had allowed him to track them down.
