"What the hell..."

Alves' jaws dropped when his eyes registered with the brain what was right in front of him. There were a couple of elders not far from where he was.

Akulia was still standing beside him, but he was more worried about what was ahead of him.

He turned quickly to look at Akulia,

"How is this possible? How does this make sense?"

Akulia didn't answer his question in the first place. Instead, he pretended as though he didn't understand what Alves was talking about.

"Talk to me. What is happening? Why is he here?"

Alves' voice held a great amount of concern. He sounded sceptical and on an edge. Like someone who had been put on a spot.

"Perhaps you should ask him."

Akulia answered. As much as the word sounded like an insult, there was a manner at which Akulia had delivered the words.

Alves turned away from Akulia to look at his front again. He took the first two steps forward. He pushed a lump down his throat.
