Ch.4 - Satisfying Feeling

"Oh, look who finally dared to crawl out of his cage." Shu Ming smiled mockingly.

"Your face is still as ugly as ever. You should lock yourself in your room and stay there until you rot." Shu Lin looked at Shu Xiang in disgust, covering her mouth and nose with the folding fan in her hand.

Shu Xiang glared sharply at them before walking away, completely ignoring them. This only made the two of them even more irritated.

"This brat actually dares to ignore me." The corner of Shu Ming's eye twitched.

"Looks like the lesson we gave him yesterday wasn't enough." Shu Lin gritted her teeth.

Shu Xiang clenched his fists. He was truly furious, but he chose to ignore them.

'They are both at the Intermediate Stage. Shu Ming is already at its peak and is close to breaking through to the Advanced Stage. If I fight them, there's no way I can win, especially considering how little Qi energy I have.' Shu Xiang understood his own limits.

He did want revenge, but now was not the time. Fighting them would only put him at a disadvantage. Of course, if they left him with no other choice, he would fight back.

Just like now.

Shu Ming blocked his path, standing directly in front of him with a contemptuous gaze.

"What?" Shu Xiang asked with an indifferent expression.

"Looking at your face makes me want to vomit."

"Then why are you looking at my face? You even deliberately blocked my path just to do it. Are you stupid?"

Shu Xiang's reply made the veins on Shu Ming's neck and forehead bulge with anger.

"Looks like the lesson I gave you yesterday wasn't enough. I'll teach you some manners when it comes to respecting your older brother!"

Shu Ming threw a punch toward Shu Xiang's face.

But Shu Xiang calmly tilted his head to the side, causing the punch to pass harmlessly beside his cheek.

Shu Xiang had already concentrated all of his energy into his open right hand. He thrust it forward with all his strength, striking Shu Ming directly in the solar plexus.

"Ugh!"

Shu Ming's eyes widened until they almost popped out of their sockets. It felt as though his stomach was being squeezed from the inside, causing his knees to go weak.

Before he could fall, Shu Xiang drove his knee into Shu Ming's chin, forcing his head upward.

Shu Xiang then delivered the final blow, slapping Shu Ming across the face and sending his eldest brother crashing to the ground, where he immediately vomited the contents of his stomach.

"You... How dare you!" Shu Lin was shocked when she saw what had happened and immediately moved to attack Shu Xiang.

But the moment she met Shu Xiang's sharp gaze, Shu Lin immediately stopped. She held her breath, fear gripping her heart.

Only then was she able to think clearly and question everything that had just happened.

How could her elder brother have been defeated so easily by this piece of trash?

The same trash who couldn't cultivate at all!

Moreover, he seemed completely different now. Could the beating he received yesterday have damaged his brain?

"Hmph." Shu Xiang snorted before walking away. "Don't bother me again. Otherwise, you'll end up in a much worse state next time."

Shu Xiang walked out of the Shu Family residence.

Meanwhile, Shu Lin helped her brother back onto his feet.

Shu Ming's body still felt weak, and his stomach hurt so badly that he could barely breathe normally.

"Brother, are you alright?" Shu Lin asked.

"Tch! That bastard... I'll... ueeekk!"

Shu Ming vomited once again.

"Ah, alright. We'll get back at him later. For now, you shouldn't talk. I'll take you to a physician to get treated."

"No! Don't!"

"Eh?"

"You want me to explain... that I was beaten up by that piece of trash? The news would spread immediately, and... where would that leave my dignity?!"

If Shu Ming were taken to a physician, he would have to explain what had happened. The story would undoubtedly spread throughout the family, and he would become everyone's laughingstock.

Shu Ming absolutely refused to let that happen.

"Just take me... to my room..."

"Alright."

Shu Lin helped her brother walk back toward his room.

Shu Ming's expression was ugly, his anger burning fiercely as he imagined all the things he would do to make Shu Xiang pay for what he had done.
