Veronica sat down at Alfred's side and remarked, her expression reflecting fear. She still could not accept that her daughter had been poisoned. She was perplexed as she sought to identify the offender. This time, they were fortunate because Adela wasn't adversely impacted by the poison. However, they also knew that poisons couldn't harm Adela or kill her. But who had the gall to carry out such a task?

"Alfred, who can do it? Adela doesn't come across any new people, and I don't think it's conceivable here. Someone has poisoned her at the training center," Veronica said.

"We can't say anything for sure. What if someone poisoned her in this place? We can't trust anyone," Alfred remarked.

"Alfred, I know Elise; she can't do this," Veronica replied, shocked that one of their own could do it. But it was her child's case, and she had to make a choice.

"I know, Veronica, what you're trying to say, but we can't trust anyone in this matter," he began, but Veronica cut off Alfred in the middle

He spoke out in a severe tone. Richard scowled at the academic area since he felt something serious beckoning him there. As he took in his surroundings, Richard stated, "Let's head for the academy. We hadn't yet met our master.""Prince, what about the weather? It has abruptly changed," Levy remarked. They could feel the chilly wind beginning to blow, and the leaves on the trees were fluttering. Richard turned his head to the southern side before returning his attention to the palace."Let's get over to the academy, Levy."When Levy heard Richard's order, he said, "As you say, my prince.""But be alert. "Of course I am. She is my dearest friend."Francis inquired with a cheerful voice and a head tilt."Well, what about me? Don't you have the same thoughts about me?"He was curious whether Adela regarded Francis in the same esteem for Camilla as she did. Adela raised her eyebrows when she heard him. She glared at his cheerful expression. He was giddy.Adela wondered aloud, "Francis, what are you saying?"Francis stated directly, "I just want to know if something happened to me. Would you take care of me exactly as you do for Camilla?" His eyes were eager for her answer.Adela's jaw tightened as her last memory of Francis flashed through her thoughts. Her heart twisted abruptly, and she also felt enraged. When he was lying on her lap, gasping for breath, did Francis know what Adela was experiencing? Did he know how Adela was feeling at the time?Adela bit her lower lip in rage and was ready to reprimand Francis when the carriage came to a halt. They heard a knock on the door."Sir, we

"Has anything happened between you and the first prince?"Adela stiffened her spine as she heard Francis. Francis' comments on the first prince surprised her. Did the first prince ask Francis a question after she departed from them?Adela considered this as she pressed her lips together. Although she spoke tensely, her expression didn't reflect it."No, we were simply wandering around.""Just wondering? Adela, you just met him, so don't put too much faith in people," Francis said."Oh, come on, Francis, that wasn't what you were thinking," Adela replied as she groaned and shook her head. "We were only introducing ourselves."Francis tightened his lips, and he didn't ask Adela further about it. He took a deep breath and continued."I need to let you know something important. I suppose it's time to tell you."Francis started to say something, but Adela interrupted him. Adela reasoned that she was all-knowing and knew what Francis might say to her at that moment. She didn't feel the need

"Your Royal Highness."James grinned and said, "I was expecting you. Are you okay?" He approached Camilla a bit closer."Yes, your royal highness," Camilla responded with a smile as if nothing had happened inside the room.James had the smarts to go with her to her house instead of just standing there. He then remarked, "Okay, let's move. I'll accompany you.""What?" After hearing that, Camilla was stunned. Did she mishear or did the prince say it? While adjusting his long, white coat, James turned to Camilla's front. He was looking dashing as he unfastened his long coat... He was even more mesmerizingly handsome with his deep blue flat boots and white leather pants. Camilla batted her large eyes briefly. James replied while flashing a sensual smile."Do you have any problems?"Camilla was speechless when she heard James' proposal and didn't know what to say to him. She found it unbelievable that the second prince wished to accompany her. She hastily answered, "But I already have my c

Her entire body was in pain. She had already put in a lot of effort to gain strength. She looked up, tearful, at the partially rooted tree."I simply cannot raise a tree. My father is right; I'm just worthless," Camilla thought. Camilla's eyes welled up with tears, but she restrained herself from crying. Everyone was staring at her, laughing in her face, even though she was well aware of their jokes. They made fun of her weakness. But it was not her fault. She tried her best to learn magic. But her fate was betraying her again and again.Camilla let out a long sigh before turning to look at the grass. She bit her lower lip. Wilson moved toward her and halted behind her. Alfred said in a troubled tone, "Ian." What was running through his head was known in his heart. Nobody had a deeper sense of the emperor than he did.Alfred said, "I'll go along with you.""Uncle, I—" Ian was about to say he could go alone, but before he could finish the sentence, Alfred cut off his sentence. Alfred said, "Ian, she is my daughter. You, people, do not know what I'm terrified of. I'm not sure what's happening there, but I have a bad feeling about it. We are all responsible for paying for it."Ian didn't try to persuade his uncle, since he understood what was going through Alfred's head. Ian agreed with Alfred's claim by nodding. His uncle was right, so there was no way to refuse him; Adela was his daughter, and it was natural for him to be nervous. Ian knew well that his uncle was stronger than everyone else. Therefore, if he visited the palace, the emperor would be hesitant to act.Adela asked Ian to notify her about the emperor and Alfred, but he ran out of time to d
