 I take a deep sigh as I flip the next about four pages with different images of mages, knights and tankers. The following page was of fair Maidens: one is clad in a deep forest-green dress, its fabric shimmering with subtle, magical energy, embroidered with intricate vines along the sleeves and neckline, a practical leather belt cinching her waist, holding pouches filled with herbs, while a hooded cloak of darker green drapes over her shoulders, her chestnut hair partly braided with tiny wildflowers.

The other wears a flowing white dress, glowing softly as if touched by the divine, silver filigree resembling constellations adorning the bodice, a thin silver chain with a moonstone pendant resting at her waist, while a sheer, lace-trimmed veil covers her head, her blonde hair gathered in an intricate updo beneath it, giving her an ethereal, serene appearance. Down was a bold subtitle,

Healers

Healers are individuals who harness Aether to mend wounds, cure ailments, and restore vitality. Their Innate Spiritual Realm often manifests as lush gardens or tranquil lakes, filled with life-giving energy.

Augmentors within the Healer path focus on enhancing their physical and spiritual senses, allowing them to detect and cure even the most subtle ailments.

Vital Augmentor: Enhances the body's natural healing processes, allowing them to rapidly close wounds and mend bones, even in the heat of battle.

Empathic Augmentor: Heightens emotional and spiritual sensitivity, enabling the Healer to sense pain and suffering from afar and deliver comfort or healing.

Purification Augmentor: Increases resistance to poisons, diseases, and curses, enabling them to cleanse such afflictions from others with a mere touch.

Conjurers among Healers use Aether to create healing constructs or summon spiritual entities that aid in their restorative duties.

Floral Conjurer: Summons plants and herbs from their spiritual realm that possess powerful healing properties, capable of curing even the most stubborn wounds and illnesses.

Spirit Conjurer: Calls upon benevolent spirits to assist in healing, either by directly mending wounds or by providing protective auras that ward off further harm.

Well of Life Conjurer: Creates a source of life-giving Aether within the spiritual realm that can rejuvenate an entire group, restoring their energy and health over time.

Maidens are those who use Aether to protect, guide, and inspire. They are often seen as spiritual leaders or guardians, whose presence alone can bolster the morale and resolve of those around them. Their Innate Spiritual Realm often appears as sacred groves, peaceful sanctuaries, or ancient temples.

Augmentors in the Maiden path enhance their spiritual and emotional influence, using Aether to inspire and protect those around them.

Aura Augmentor: Enhances the Maiden's ability to project calming or invigorating auras that can soothe allies' fears, increase their resolve, or boost their combat abilities.

Ward Augmentor: Uses Aether to create protective wards around allies, shielding them from harm and repelling dark forces or negative energy.

Inspiration Augmentor: Amplifies the Maiden's natural charisma and influence, allowing them to lead and motivate others with unparalleled effectiveness, often turning the tide of battle through sheer force of will.

Conjurers within the Maiden path focus on creating protective constructs or summoning spiritual guardians that serve as defenders or advisors.

Guardian Conjurer: Summons ethereal guardians from their spiritual realm, which act as shields or bodyguards, defending against physical and spiritual threats.

Sanctuary Conjurer: Conjures a temporary sanctuary, an impenetrable space where allies can rest, heal, and strategize without fear of attack.

Oracle Conjurer: Summons spiritual entities that provide visions or guidance, offering foresight in battle or wisdom in times of need.

Cultivation Stages and Breathing Techniques

Cultivation Stages within the Aetheric Power System are divided into levels that reflect the expansion and complexity of one's Innate Spiritual Realm:

Awakening Stage: The initial phase where one first awakens their Innate Spiritual Realm and begins to cultivate Aether.

Foundation Stage: The cultivator starts to build the foundations of their realm, increasing its size and beginning to refine their abilities as an Augmentor or Conjurer.

Core Stage: The cultivator solidifies their spiritual realm into a powerful core, allowing for more efficient storage and use of Aether. Abilities become more potent, and advanced techniques become available.

Ascension Stage: The spiritual realm reaches its peak potential, expanding into a vast domain where the cultivator can wield immense Aetheric power. At this stage, a cultivator's abilities can alter the landscape of their Innate Spiritual Realm.

Transcendent Stage: The cultivator transcends their mortal limitations, achieving mastery over their Innate Spiritual Realm. They can draw Aether from the environment or even other beings, becoming legendary figures in Aetheria.

Breathing Techniques are essential to harness and cultivate Aether within the Innate Spiritual Realm:

Celestial Inhale: Draws Aether into the body with each breath, purifying and enhancing it before storing it within the realm. This technique is used to build and expand the realm, as well as to prepare for combat.

Ethereal Pulse: A breathing technique that circulates Aether through the body, enhancing physical abilities or rapidly healing injuries. Often used by Knights and Tankers.

Arcane Flow: A meditative breathing technique that refines Aether for use in complex spells or constructs, favored by Mages.

Elemental Resonance: Aligns the cultivator's breath with the elements, allowing for better control and amplification of elemental magic. Crucial for Elemental Conjurers and Augmentors.

To be honest, this was more than I can take, especially the breathing technique. The breathing technique was more intriguing than I could handle, and the sequence of images—people in their striking outfits—made my heart race. I wasn't sure how long I'd been reading, but when I finally looked up, Jolt was gone, and the sound of laughter from the living room had vanished. A cool breeze slipped through the window, and it was already pitch dark outside. I closed the encyclopedia with a deep sigh and jumped onto my bed, the images still vivid in my mind. The overwhelming sensation coursing through me only made me more anxious, and eager to experience my own awakening. I'd probably end up with a Knight awakening.

"A Knight, huh? Still, healers were more interesting," I murmured, folding my hands behind my head. "Mother was always a natural at it, and she made it look so fascinating, especially when she healed my wounds," I whispered to myself as my eyes grew heavy, slowly and steadily drifting off to sleep.
