From the comfort of my room, the sounds of my father's hearty laughter and Uncle Benedict's frantic, choked responses reached my ears. Their voices, punctuated by bursts of mirth, mingled with the more subdued tones of my mother and Aunt Selly, who seemed to be engrossed in a heated discussion, likely about the looming threat of war. Despite the lively and chaotic scene unfolding just beyond my door, I remained undistracted. Even Jolt's soft snores, emanating from her baby cradle as she slept soundly, failed to pull my attention away. My entire focus was fixed on the encyclopedia in front of me, its cover glistening and its title capturing my full and undivided interest.

"In the continent of Widern, every being is born with the potential to awaken their 'Innate Spiritual Realm', a personal dimension where 'Aether'—the essence of all magic and power—can be gathered, stored, and wielded. The cultivation of this realm determines one's abilities and strength, dividing individuals into distinct paths: 'Mages', 'Knights', 'Tankers', 'Healers' and 'Maidens'. Each path has unique roles and abilities, categorized further into Augmentors and Conjurers.

Awakening the Innate Spiritual Realm

The journey begins with the awakening of one's Innate Spiritual Realm. This event, often occurring in adolescence, is a rare and profound experience, typically triggered by intense emotional or physical trials. Only a small percentage of the population can awaken this realm naturally, but those who do gain access to an immense reserve of Aether.

Once awakened, individuals can cultivate their realm through various breathing techniques and meditation practices, allowing them to expand the size and power of their spiritual world. The larger and more complex the realm, the more Aether it can hold, and the more potent the abilities that can be drawn from it.

The Paths: Mages, Knights, Tankers, Healer, and Maiden

Mages are those who harness Aether to manipulate the elements, cast powerful spells, and bend reality to their will. Their Innate Spiritual Realm often takes the form of vast, ethereal landscapes—a reflection of their mental focus and affinity with the elements.

Augmentors: Mages focus on enhancing their physical and mental attributes through Aether. They increase their intelligence, reflexes, and stamina, allowing them to cast spells with greater speed and potency.

Fire Augmentor: Specializes in enhancing physical strength and reflexes with Aether infused with fire, allowing for quick, explosive movements and attacks.

Wind Augmentor: Boosts agility and speed, using Aether to create a swiftness that's nearly impossible to track.

Arcane Augmentor: Enhances cognitive abilities, including memory and spellcasting speed, allowing for complex, rapid casting.

Conjurers: within the Mage path focus on summoning and manipulating Aether to create constructs, summon creatures, or control elemental forces.

Elemental Conjurer: Summons and controls fire, water, earth, or wind to shape the battlefield.

Illusion Conjurer: Bends light and shadow to create powerful illusions, misleading enemies or hiding from sight.

Necromantic Conjurer: Summons spirits or reanimates the dead, drawing on the Aether of life and death.

 Knight (Two knights with different armors, covered with different auras)

Knights: are warriors who use Aether to augment their combat abilities, making them formidable in close-quarters combat. Their Innate Spiritual Realm often appears as an armory or battlefield, symbolizing their dedication to martial prowess.

Augmentors: in the Knight's path focus on imbuing their bodies and weapons with Aether, increasing their strength, speed, and durability.

Celestial Knight: Uses Celestial Inhale to draw Aether into their armor and weapons, creating powerful auras that increase attack power and defense.

Storm Knight: Channels Aether to control electricity and wind, striking with the speed and power of a storm.

Blood Knight: Augments physical abilities by absorbing the Aether from enemies, increasing their strength with each kill.

Conjurers: among Knights focus on creating and controlling Aether constructs in battle, such as weapons, shields, or even temporary allies.

Guardian Conjurer: Creates protective barriers or summons spiritual armor, making them nearly invincible in battle.

Weaponmaster Conjurer: Summons multiple weapons made of pure Aether, allowing them to fight with a variety of tools simultaneously.

Phantom Conjurer: Conjures shadowy doppelgängers that can fight alongside them or deceive enemies.

Tankers: are the bulwarks of any group, using Aether to enhance their defenses and protect their allies. Their Innate Spiritual Realm is often a fortress, representing their immense resilience and protective nature.

Augmentors: in the Tanker path specialize in fortifying their bodies and resistance to physical and magical attacks through Aether.

Ironclad Augmentor: Infuses their skin and armor with Aether, making them nearly impervious to damage.

Earthshaker Augmentor: Uses Aether to increase their mass and strength, enabling them to withstand and deliver devastating blows.

Aetheric Warder: Augments their resistance to elemental magic, reducing damage and reflecting spells back at attackers.

Conjurers: in the Tanker path focus on creating shields and barriers, as well as summoning protective constructs to guard themselves and their allies.

Barrier Conjurer: Conjures massive shields or barriers that can withstand even the most powerful attacks.

Guardian Conjurer: Summons Aetheric guardians or constructs to protect the group, absorbing damage and returning it to the attackers.

Fortress Conjurer: Creates entire fortresses or strongholds in the Innate Spiritual Realm, allowing their allies to retreat into them during battle.
