"Can you understand why the eyes of the sacred beings are upon you? Not only did you purify the solid faster than anyone else, but you also forced yourself to do it. Normally, those chosen for Hell Difficulty are the children of high gods and goddesses. Like Eris or her brother Moros, who had purified the solid before."
When Altair heard all these words, he realised how narrowly he had escaped.
He had indeed shown more courage than necessary and had almost gotten himself killed. Still, he was alive, he was here, and that was what mattered.
"On top of that, you need to think. Your choices had consequences. You could have entered any part of the city to reach the mission area. You could have met people who could be considered side streets, main areas, different NPCs, made companions, and spent a day or two trying to clear this floor. Your choices would have led to change, but you proceeded in the most perfect, most courageous way." Hazel added to her own words.
With that, she fell silent and looked at Altair, who was sitting directly opposite her. The young man was clearly surprised, but it couldn't be said that he was shocked.
"Well... Could you tell me what I should do next?" Altair asked, clearly not wanting to dwell on the previous topic.
The young man had cut the piece of meat in front of him in half and, eating it with relish, had begun to listen to Hazel:
"No, unfortunately, after this floor, another admin will be the one to help you clear the remaining tutorial floors."
When Altair asked, "What about the rewards?", Hazel's smile returned to her face, and she said, "Of course, if you're not hungry, I'll give you your rewards," and snapped her fingers once.
As soon as Hazel did this, the table disappeared, and an empty table appeared. Altair had just started eating when the table in front of him vanished.
"I'll show you twenty-five cards. Each one will be a unique grade or higher. You will choose exactly two of these cards, and these will be your rewards. After that, I will send you to the next floor," Hazel said suddenly.
With these words, the table was instantly filled with cards, and Altair gently stood up.
It was happening again.
The young man could see the colours and grades of the cards.
He pretended to think for a moment. After all, he didn't want to reveal that he was a cheat. Still, it would be wrong to say he wasn't excited.
He was very curious about what prize he would choose from here that could win him.
There was only one black card on the table, which meant he would have to choose one white card.
The young man instantly chose the black card and then, pretending to glance over the cards, picked up one of the white cards.
With that, Hazel took the two cards and cleared the table.
The woman looked at the two cards in her hand, quite astonished, and said, "Lucky," loading both cards into Altair's system.
Immediately after that, two large system windows opened in front of the young man:
[Selene's Hunting Knife (Replica) (Godly+)
Some people used to say that the Moon Goddess loved carving moonstones. Well, of course, this was as true as Selene wanted it to be.
As long as the player's will holds, it will always be a knife that can be summoned by the player with the energy of the moon.
The chance of piercing has been increased by 40%.
The chance to bleed has been increased by 40%.
Attack damage has been increased by 40%.
As this weapon is a replica, its properties have been reduced by 90%.]
[Star Slash (Holy+)(Upgradable)
Let the weapon of the stars' formation shine upon you, show your enemies that life is but a dream. Star Slash will pass through all walls and become a power worthy of you.
When the skill is used, the skill itself will adapt to the element or elements the user is currently using, enhancing the user's attacks.
When the ability is used, the next attack will be 50% more powerful.
This is an upgradeable ability.
To upgrade the ability, you must slay magical beasts of all sizes.
Ability upgrade progress: "0.00%".]
The young man smiled when he got his hands on these two rewards.
"Do you have any idea how I'm supposed to use these things, my lady?" Altair inquired.
"Ah! I almost forgot to mention. All you need to do is enter your inventory, just like any other user, and select one of the items there. As for the skill you've gained... you'll see it in your system profile, but my advice is not to do this until you've cleared all the tutorial levels." Hazel replied.
With that, the young man had nothing left to do here and stood up.
"In that case, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to continue on my way. Thank you for all your help," said Altair.
Hazel bowed her head politely and said, "It is highly unlikely we will meet again, but if we do, I hope you are alive and well, Mr Altair. As one of Aculon's five administrators, I wish you the best of luck with all my heart."
Meanwhile, a grey passageway had formed a few metres ahead of Altair.
The young man nodded his thanks to Hazel and quickly entered the passageway.
When he emerged from the other side of the passageway, he saw several doors around him.
To be precise, seven doors.
There were seven doors, identical to each other, with no differences whatsoever. The only difference, of course, was the colours on them.
So perhaps normal eyes couldn't see them, but again, the young man could see the difference in these colours.
He turned around briefly and saw that the seven different colours on these seven different doors shone at seven completely different levels.
Every colour from green to black.
Of course, one didn't need to be a genius to figure out where to go, but the other admin, Hazel, had mentioned was nowhere to be seen, so the young man wasn't sure whether he should wait here or start everything himself by choosing the black door.
After waiting there for a few minutes and realising that no sound came, he understood that he had no other choice and headed towards the door glowing with black light, opening it.
Then he stepped through the door.

Exile
"Perish," said the entity, and began to lunge forward. At that moment, Altair spoke:"Exile!"As soon as Altair managed to utter the name of the skill he had barely summoned, several chains covered in blue flames emerged from the temple’s floor and ceiling, seizing the entity and flinging it away from Altair.“What is this magic?” the entity muttered. It tried to move but could not.“Cough! Cough! Cough!”Before Altair could even reply, he coughed repeatedly. His throat was in excruciating pain. The entity had not killed him outright. Someone that powerful could have killed him simply by squeezing his neck.He was lucky."It is the shackles that imprisoned Prometheus. Where I came from, he was one of the gods most loved by humanity. Well... past humans."When Altair replied, the entity looked at him intently and said, "Never heard of him," then tried to move.Although the chains were straining and making a noise, they wouldn’t budge. As the blue flames wrapping the chains began to cre
Great Evil
By the time Altair had finished reading each page, he felt so sick that he couldn’t hold it in and vomited several handfuls from the podium.Aether and the others couldn’t make sense of what was happening.[What happened? Are you alright?] Aether asked, the message filled with both curiosity and fear. The young man looked at the message window with tears in his eyes and then asked, “Didn’t you see?”[See… what?]Altair paused when he heard this question.Throughout the time he had spent reading those six pages, he had seen it all. He had lived through everything written on those pages.People being sacrificed, harassment and rape, how others were tortured, children, women and men being mercilessly killed. He had seen it all.Yet he couldn’t stop himself. It was as if he had to read those pages. He was as if in a trance. But how had this happened? He possessed the Unparalleled Mind ability.Something like this, be it a spell or whatever it was, shouldn’t have worked on him.The Moon an
How Nice...
The young man began to move forward with simple, calm and very careful steps. The surroundings really did look like the interior of a normal, low-ranking god’s temple.Simple statues, a few portraits... in short, apart from a few works of art, there was nothing else to be seen.Yet everything was tattered and broken. This place was very old, almost like an ancient region. After walking a little further, Altair came to a podium. On this podium stood a prayer table, and on that table lay a book. The writing on the book’s cover had been erased... no, it seemed to have been scraped away with a knife.Altair was worried. He knew this was truly bad news, yet his curiosity was beginning to grow.He approached the book and, as he did so, noticed something was pushing him towards it with increasing force. He wasn’t losing his mind, but it felt as though something was calling to him. When the young man finally touched the book, something he hadn’t expected at all happened. The book... had turne
ERROR
Altair had given orders to each of the slave guards under his command... that is, to the guards.Ever since he’d heard that their slavery contracts had been abolished, he’d been feeling a bit odd. He hadn’t even known how to address them; it had taken him a long time to get used to other things.According to the orders he had given, they were to continue climbing the tower and grow stronger in the process.Altair had wanted them to enter the tower in two groups of eighteen or as a single group of thirty-six.They had chosen to enter as a single large group and had thus reached the forty-first floor.Altair, however, had assigned someone to handle every task that could be carried out automatically and had eventually reached the twenty-first floor. The floor he had entered was different. It was an... arena.Yet it wasn’t like any arena he had entered before. It was bigger. It was a MUCH more colossal arena. There was no one around, that is, no one watching him inside the arena.Neverthe
You Did Good, Kid
By the time Altair reached one of the dining halls, he had ordered a few cuts of meat.He really didn’t want to eat anything other than meat.Whilst he was waiting for his meat, word that he had already woken up had spread throughout the palace.Arthur and Slyvie really weren’t leaving him alone. The pair were waiting right behind where he was sitting. No matter what the young man did, he couldn’t get them to sit down, and in the end, he had given up.Altair’s order had arrived shortly afterwards, and just as the young man was about to start eating, the dining hall doors burst open.Aurelion, Eve and Ilyana had entered. All three looked as though they were sweating. It was obvious they had run here.Altair had placed the fork in his hand back on his plate. He was well aware that from this moment on, he was in for a terrible telling-off.And so it was.For a full ten minutes, without a break, the young man had been scolded in front of all the servants and guards by the Emperor of the E
It Happened Already
Altair had listened carefully to what had happened over the past month and had managed to find out how the war had ended. The Empire’s powerful mages were still trying to clear the eighty-third floor, which was why he had been curious to know exactly how the war had ended. It was truly a miracle that the mage near the 32nd Noble House had managed to escape. In the end, everything had turned out well.Although...No matter which way you looked at these events, you were looking at something terrible. After all, tens of millions had died in a single explosion. The eastern district was the least populated area of the city. That was why so few people had died.Although ‘tens of millions’ was by no means a small number. That was the reality when you considered the total population within the city. The young man had returned to his bed and lain down, as his body was still aching. At the same time, he had muttered, “How is it going, Aether?”He had told Arthur and Slyvie not to let anyone int
