The moment Altair shook his head, the woman reached for the lock and then closed her eyes.

Within seconds, blood began to drip from her eyes, and the priests and nuns who had been following her began to carry her away.

The woman said as innocently as possible, "Please save us..."

Altair pulled open the unlocked door and entered.

He climbed directly up the interior of this enormous statue, which was as tall as a clock tower, and managed to reach the top.

At that moment, he began climbing the goddess statue's robe. One step at a time, without stopping. Then he managed to reach the chest area of her dress and finally her shoulder.

At that moment, he pulled the knife from its sheath at his waist and said to the blade, already cracked in several places, "Please hold on."

As he said this, he plunged the knife right into the statue's left eye, the eye of this legendary statue.

The moment he did this, a huge system notification popped up before his eyes:

[Congratulations!

You have brilliantly completed Hell Difficulty Tutorial Mode.

You are the 1447th person to enter this mode in the tower's ten-billion-year history.

You are the sixth person to clear this mode.

Clearance rewards will be delivered to you upon leaving the tutorial mode area.

To complete the mode, please say 'Leave'.]

"Leave!" Altair shouted instantly, and the moment he said it, everything... suddenly stopped.

Completely.

All existence was covered in a grey colour, the voices of those around him suddenly ceased, and the screams were no longer audible.

Altair saw a platform hovering in the air right next to him.

On the platform was a wide, white gate.

The young man had leapt from Nyx's Status onto the platform and passed directly through the gate.

Upon doing so, he had returned to that pure white space. However, this time he was not alone.

In front of him, perhaps ten metres away, stood a woman. She was dressed in a suit, but she had horns, wings, and a tail.

"Welcome, Mr Altair. Today, I, Hazel, one of Aculon's Five Main Admins, will be accompanying you. Please, come in," said the woman politely, gesturing to a place for Altair.

Suddenly, two chairs and a table appeared in the indicated spot.

The table was laden with all kinds of food and drink.

The young man calmly approached the spot indicated to him and sat down, looking curiously at the woman across from him.

"You've achieved something astonishing, Mr Altair. Thanks to your immense potential, you weren't just thrown into a tutorial on Hell Difficulty; you also managed to clear this level, and at an astonishing speed," Hazel said suddenly, a broad, pure smile on her face.

"You are the sixth person to clear this mode... It is such an honour to meet you," Hazel added to her own words.

Altair was truly transfixed where he stood. He had many questions in his mind, but upon hearing the rank of the person in front of him, everything had already vanished from his mind.

Perhaps it was embarrassment, perhaps it was fear.

"It is truly rare for the Gods and Goddesses to take an interest in someone before they have fully entered the tower. Normally, it would be correct to say that this is a trait reserved only for their children. And of course, considering that you are an ordinary human from Earth, it becomes clear just how blessed you are," Hazel said suddenly.

The woman cut the meat from the large chicken on the table with a knife and then placed two pieces of meat on Altair's plate.

"I'm sure you have questions you want to ask me before I give you your rewards and start the remaining tutorial levels. Still, please be careful. The absurdity or accuracy of your questions may distract the holy beings watching us right now from you," Hazel said calmly but with incredible seriousness.

Altair, relieved as if he had been granted permission to speak, immediately asked his question:

"I'm sorry, Miss... Hazel. I'm still curious. This Hell Difficulty, that was the tutorial's difficulty level, but... wasn't it a bit easy?"

Altair might not have realised it, but these words were incredibly absurd. It would be fair to say that the gods and goddesses watching them had their mouths slightly agape.

"Haha... I couldn't have imagined hearing such a sentence even if I thought about it for millions of years! I'm amazed!" Hazel said, laughing.

"Did I say something wrong, my lady?" Altair said suddenly, and then, without pausing, added, "After all, I only took a few lives, went straight ahead, and gouged out a status's eye. It didn't seem that difficult..."

Hazel stopped laughing at these words, but didn't lose her smile.

"What do you think the other difficulties are like, Mr Altair? Do you have an answer?" Hazel asked suddenly.

Altair shook his head from side to side. There was really no way he could find an answer.

"Think about it this way. For someone set to Easy Difficulty Tutorial, all they need to do is collect a few apples and deliver them to a villager, or maybe kill one or two slimes," Hazel said immediately.

"For Medium, killing a few goblins might be appropriate. For Hard, you'll need to kill ten goblins in the arena, in a protected area."

"Hell Difficulty, however... It starts you at level one, reduces your experience gain rate to 5%, increases the monsters' attention towards you, boosts the monsters' intelligence, and tries its best to make sure you die no matter what you do," she added to her own words.

After that, she took a deep breath and said in her gentle voice:

"You existed in a city that was beginning to crumble, you protected people who no longer exist, and you completed your mission. And you did it with just three levels. You killed not one but two wild trolls. I assure you. Among those who have cleared Hell Difficulty before, you are the one who cleared it best, if not one of the best. I swear on my life."

"Perish," said the entity, and began to lunge forward. At that moment, Altair spoke:"Exile!"As soon as Altair managed to utter the name of the skill he had barely summoned, several chains covered in blue flames emerged from the temple’s floor and ceiling, seizing the entity and flinging it away from Altair.“What is this magic?” the entity muttered. It tried to move but could not.“Cough! Cough! Cough!”Before Altair could even reply, he coughed repeatedly. His throat was in excruciating pain. The entity had not killed him outright. Someone that powerful could have killed him simply by squeezing his neck.He was lucky."It is the shackles that imprisoned Prometheus. Where I came from, he was one of the gods most loved by humanity.
