First Sight

When Arin's mom looked at him, what she saw was tears flowing down through her son's eyes. She asked " Arin why are you crying ?" Arin wiped his tears using his T-shirts sleeve and said.

" Nothing mom, it's been so long since I last ate anything delicious"

Dad - you could eat your hearts fill, eat slowly and here drink this.

His dad pour a glass of water and gave it him.

They all ate the food and it's about the time to sleep.

Arin began to think about what was happening lately in his life. " Is it just a dream or reality, why do I get this super phone? Is there really any kind of supernatural things out in the world? "

When he was thinking about all that, there was a small black and white fur kitten playing on outside by chasing frogs and moths.

Even he didn't know when did he fall asleep, but he woke up by hearing the roosters morning call.

Arin yawned and rubbed his eyes after that he go towards his bathroom for brush his teeth. He then also finished his morning activities and go to the hall where his father and sister eating.

Arin's mom gave him Banana pancakes with honey and a glass of milk.

He started to eat that pancake slowly and took a sip of milk from the glass.

Arin - mom, these are really really really great.

His mom didn't say anything but smiled at him.

After a long poss Arin said. " Mom I'm going back to City after finishing the meal. " His mom looked back and asked.

" Why are you returning so early? "

His dad and sister also asked the same question.

Arin - mom i need to return quickly, there is something i need to do in the city.

His family tried to convince him for returning after a few more days but he insisted going on today.

They knew that he wouldn't listen to them no matter what once he decided on something.

Arin - Dad can you please give me your number.

His dad handover him the phone, Arin opend the zerxpay and transfer 100K. After that he returned the phone.

Dad - Arin? What is this?

Mom - what? What did he do?

Arin's mom asked and grabbed the phone from dad's hand. Her eyes wide opened and she asked. " Arin tell me the truth where did you get this much money? Did you do something? "

Arin : no mom, i didn't do anything bad, infact i got this from a lottery.

Mom - lottery? When did you start buying lottery?

Arin - mom, i just bought it because my shop owner insisted me. And it's not even the first price i got about 150K zerx, i used the 50K for my college funds and bought some necessary items.

His parents are still in confusion but Arin tried to talk them that he didn't do anything illegal.

* Sigh * his parents let out a sigh and said, " Arin, we know that you didn't do anything illegal bu we are still worried. That's why we keep asked you about it "

After finishing the breakfast he returned to his room and started to pack, he packed his dress on his backpack. And then changed his clothes.

He closed the bedroom door and walk out, his family was waiting for him in the hall. When they saw him his sister Lyra came and hugged him.

" Brother, when are you coming back? "

He didn't said anything to that question he only smiled and then patted her head.

Arin " mom I'm going back, dad take care and buy some medicine for your coughing. Lyra you need to study hard. "

His family hugged him and then he took out his phone and called someone.

Dad - did you call someone, who's that?

Arin - Dad it's a taxi driver, i called him yesterday night and told him to come to our village. He is waiting for me in main road.

He bid farewell to his family and walk towards where the taxi was, he greeted the taxi driver and entered the taxi.

The taxi began to move, Arin looked through the window and waved his hand to his family. They also waved him back.

Finally the taxi leave the verdin village and entered the highway, the sky was filled with dark clouds like it is going to be the start of storm.

The sidewalks are filled with trees, the wind was blowing the leaves. Slowly the wind became more powerful and Arin closed car's windows.

Taxi driver - sir, it seems there will be a huge storm today.

Arin - yes, i hope we don't have any trouble on our journey.

The car was going through the road it splashed the puddle of muddy water on to the side.

When Arin looked through the window he saw someone was standing on the sid of that road, that person was wearing a tattered clothes also he was holding a pitchfork in his hand and there is some kind of liquid oozing from that person's body.

Arin closed his eyes and rubbed strongly and then looked once again, there was not a single sign of that kind of person in the road.

" Uncle did you saw someone on the road just now " Arin asked that to the taxi driver.

Taxi driver - no, i didn't saw anyone. What happened?

Arin - nothing.

" it might be my imagination " Arin thought himself. After that he started to sleep.

After a few hours later they arrived at the city, the taxi driver woke him up.

This time Arin paid him 4500 zerx, because he came when he asked.

Arin looked at his phone the time was almost 1:40. Before the taxi driver go he asked him. " Uncle can you please drop me at grains mall "

Taxi driver - yes ofcourse, come on hop in.

They arrived at the grains mall before 2:30.

Arin was about to pay the taxi fare, but the taxi driver stopped him. " Sir i don't need more money, you can keep it yourself you already gave me enough money. " After saying that the taxi driver quickly drive away from Arin before Arin could speak anything.

Arin was shocked and then he smiled, even so he paid 200 zerx through the zerxpay app.

After doing that he quickly go to the fancy shop where he was working previously. The shop owner was doing some chores.

Arin - ma'am?

Arin called the owner and she looked back then saw Arin. " You brat why didn't you came to work "

Arin " ma'am i want to focus on my studies, so i will stop working "

The shop owner looked at Arin and asked him is it truly what he wanted, and Arin that this is what he wanted.

After answering to the shop owners question she then gave him 5000 zerx, " Arin my boy this is all what this old lady can give you now so please continue to study and became successful "

Arin politely gave the money back to the shop owner but she didn't take it and insisted on Arin to take the money with him. While holding the money arin's eyes was filled with tears. " Ma'am i don't know how to repay your kindness, I'll always remember this "

After saying that Arin put those 5000 zerx in his purse. On his way back he decided to go to the cellink mobile shop.

He opened the shops door and entered the Mobile Shop.

" Ohh it's you, why are you here for? "

The shopkeeper asked him.

Arin - i want to say thank you for selling this phone for me.

Shopkeeper * does this brat have any mental illness? He is thanking me for selling a broken phone "

Arin - i forgot the reason why I'm here, i want to buy a headphone.

Shopkeeper looked at him with a disgusted face and said. " We are not selling anything to a begger "

Arin - b...but I'm...

Shopkeeper - i don't want to hear anything from you begger, get out of my shop right now.

The shopkeeper shouted and kicked him out of the shop, without listening to him.

Arin falls on the ground, ten slowly get up after that he goes to another shop and asked them if they are willing to sell it him.

The shopkeeper of that shop looked at him, arin's dress was full of dirt and dust and a side of his pocket was ripped.

" Hello sir, my name is Jean. We do have the headphones what is your budget. If you wanted to buy something cheap I'll recommend the 700 zerx headphone. "

The shopkeeper Jean said that while smiling.

Arin - No... I'm not looking for something cheaper do you have anything for 5000 zerx.

Jean was surprised by hearing that * This is why we don't judge a book by it's cover * Jean thought himself.

Jean - yes we have.

After that he showed some of the products for the designated price.

He selected one with light blue and black colour, after that he opened his purse for the 5000 zerx the Shop owner gave. His face becomes pale.

Arin * the....the money is gone, but i did put in the purse, and now it's gone. *

The shopkeeper Jean noticed his sudden change in facial expression. " Sir if you don't have the money, don't panic you can always come back to buy this one or buy another chep one. "

Arin looked at the shopkeeper. " Mister Jean do you have zerxpay "

Jean - yes sir we do.

Arin then scanned the QR code and paid 6000 zerx. The shopkeeper Jean looked at him with confused face and asked.

Jean - sir i think you payed more than the products price.

Arin - nope, i paid the right amount. The extra 1000 zerx is for your hospitality.

I hope that you don't mind if i return to this shop in the future.

Jean - Sir, you can come to my shop anytime you want.

Arin - Hahahaha, is that so. Then I'm going now.

While exiting the shop his eyes caught on the new model smartphone, but he didn't buy that.

Arin left the mall and waited for the bus,a few minutes a later a bus arrived and he got a seat on that bus. While sitting on that seat his mind was wavering and he thought to himself what happened to the money he had in his purse. He had a guess but decided to check it out.
