"Did you see them?"

Claire hurried to close the pace between herself and Tendzel who had just entered the abandoned hut.

"Yea. They found the jet. I found them eating meat. I almost got caught, so I ran away."

Tendzel reported to the bevy of ladies. The only person missing in the group was Alison.

"But I couldn't find Alison with them."

"Did you move any closer?"

Lisa walked towards Tendzel now. Tendzel shook her head. Lisa continued,

"She probably is in the jet. Since you didn't get to check the jet, we can't be sure what to decide on."

Claire on the other hand was restless. She kept on pacing the displaced inn of the hut. It smelled like shit inside.

"But how is that possible? That loser! How could he had suddenly settled in to this island as though it's his father's house!!! How could he get whatever he want... where did he get all the items from. And you said he was eating meat. How could he when us, the high-class ladies have been starving since yesterday."

She screamed on top of her voice in frustration. Majority of the rest of the ladies couldn't say a thing. Claire had the royal gait.

"I say we go to the jet and claim it. It was ours after all!!! How dare he steal it from us?!!"

"Yes... yes!!!"

Lisa supported and the rest joined in one after the other.

"And that Ayisha bitch! How dare she betray us. I can't think of what she saw in that loser. Well, I won't be surprised, writers do have weird tastes."

Claire shrugged the thought of it off as though thinking of Damien was like doing a puke.

"All these sound good, but shouldn't we be looking for something to eat right now? We haven't had anything since yesterday."

Jada, the shy, collected and reasonable of them all called their attention. Each girl was beginning to see sense in what Jada had just said.

Noticing the girls' aligned reactions, smart Claire quickly said,

"That's true. We should eat something first. After all, we can't fight for what is ours on empty stomachs."

She looked across the room, picking each of the ladies in her rude but gorgeous eyes. She was a hell of a beauty.

"Lisa. Lead three of the girls out to find something to eat. The rest will fix this place up."

Lisa didn't argue with her. She picked three of the girls.

"Jada will stay with us."

Claire made an exception when Lisa almost picked Jada. Now in two groups, the ladies left to work.

Speaking of how the ladies escaped. It was quite a group rescue and Claire was the one who saved almost all of them. Now you know why the bunch owed their allegiance to her.

Damien was back to the plain. The plain was in a square form. It was quite large but not too large.

IT'S A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE CLAIRE AND HER TROUPE FIND THE JET. I SHOULD START BUILDING SOMETHING. AND THIS A GOOD SPOT.

"But how do I get all these traps away. How do I?"

He tried to come to a conclusion. He knew that there were a lot of possibilities tied to the decision he was about to make, but he was ready to take risks. He wouldn't refuse to act because of the fear of the unknown. He'd rather act and wait for the consequences, then face it heroically.

Back at the jet, he'd left Ayisha sleeping. He was sure to keep her safe inside before leaving her all by herself. And now was the time to worry about the main deal.

He threw a stone this time into the plain. The traps grew out. He continued to throw more, observing the pattern of the traps and how they'd been coordinated.

Then he noticed that their was a connection between the four large trees in each corner of the square, and the traps. There must be a very subtle formation.

WHOEVER MADE THE TRAPS MUST HAVE QUITE A CIVILISED MIND. AND IF NOT CIVILISED, AT LEAST MUST BE VERY DEADLY.

He decided to walk round the edges of the plain and used his climbing skills to get to the top of each tree to cut off the connection of the traps.

AS INTELLIGENT AS THE TRAP MAKER WAS, HE'S QUITE DUMB TO HAD MADE THIS KIND OF CONNECTION. EVEN A DULLARD WOULD FIGURE IT OUT TOO SOON.

He threw several stones but the traps had been disengaged. He smiled to himself. That was a first and promising step he had taken towards progress.

He walked into the plain and stood in the middle.

THIS SPOT WILL BE FOR THE BIG PROJECT.

He decided to walk to the East of the plain to one of the trees. He decided to start building a small space there.

He flipped out the system window and look through the skills. There were few skills unlocked, and numerous still locked! Amongst the unlocked were, JUNGLE CHEF, WILD CAPENTER and LORD OF THE HUNTS.

He didn't think twice. He clicked on the WILD CAPENTER. The usual three levels came up,

Level one - 800 points

Level two - 1500 points

Level three - 3500 points

He clicked on the level two and exchanged 1500 points for the WILD CAPENTER skills.

[Ping! Wild CAPENTER level two unlocked. 1500 experience points used.]

He started work. Each skill comes with the tools for work: meaning he could bring out amateur tools from the system for the exchanged skills.

He cut as many trees as possible, making them into planks suitable for the construction. After several hours of working, he had erected a four cornered five feet apartment, with a one large room, a kitchen place and rest room.

He was very sure to demarcate the bathing space and the John. He had learnt from the skill that there was a kind of leaf which suppreses the smell of waste. He had cut enough of them. They wouldn't have to worry about having a toilet around.

He had made sure to set traps in some thoughtful places because of wild animals!

Initially, the new construction was just for the time being. He knew anything could happen anytime. And if nothing happened for real, he would start the real project.

[Ping! Constructed a safehouse and gained 2000 experience points!]

He smiled to himself at the little achievement. He was glad that he got much experience points!

"Now that all this is done. I should find some good fruits and press them into wine. We can't keep eating drinking only coconut water."

Suddenly, he heard a whistling. At first he thought it was the idle winds playing a trick on him but the whistle came again and again.

"Ayisha."

His heart crumbled in his chest. He dropped the Saw and Hammer in his hand. He ran like crazed panther towards the jet.

"God help whoever it is!!"

"You didn't really think I was running away from you, did you?" Damien's voice had a robotic trait to it. He was standing at the foot of the boabab tree on which the watchtower was rested. "Even if you wanted to, you don't have a chance." The man dismissed. By now, Damien thought that the Samurai would be exuding the bluish fog which he did earlier, but the man looked ordinary. "You talk too fat. You must have so much faith in yourself." Damien carried on, daring. "What's faith? Isn't that one of the terms of the Nether ones? You want someone superior to do what you can't? All you have to do is wish desperately that it happens?! Lazy lots!" The man cackled. Damien had no slightest idea what was funny to the man. He couldn't wrap his head around it. But it didn't seem to matter. Not at that moment. "Enought of the talk. I need to be sure about one last thing." Damien pushed further. "Before I would destroy you and send you to your mistress or master, I should get to know

  • Der = Samurai

"Der?"Amidst all the words Damien wanted to say, the was the only thing he could. "I'll be outside."The man turned and walked out of the castle. Damien remained standing there for a while. He wasn't sure what to do or think. This seemed to be beyond his expectations. But then he knew that he couldn't keep standing there. He had to do something. He had to leave the castle. The disturbing thoughts and feelings which he had been having lately finally came out in full form. He could feel in all sense of definity that a great change was about to occur. A great change that might alter his life. That was the new feeling which had just dominated his sense of being. He took a last gaze at the Elites. They were all shivering. Not one of them could keep up the old act. He should feel pity for them, but he had himself to worry about. "Whatever happens, do not come outside."He warned Matthew sternly, then walked out of the castle. As soon as he walked out, a door grew out of nowhere and re

  • Out of the ordinary.

Damien knew he couldn't keep standing there. The cannibals had been far gone ahead of him. Matthew was still standing beside him. Asking him every now and then,"What happened?"Himself couldn't answer the question to himself let alone help clear the doubts of someone else. He wanted to get the root of what had just happened but he was clueless. When he had created the portal, he had wanted to step into it and get to the cannibal village before the cannibals. So he could go make the necessary preparations and proceed with the plans in the stock. But stepping into the portal, he had been pushed out of it by a strange force! The truth was that, he wasn't hurled into the air, or crash against the trunk of any tree at the push. But he was pushed!WHAT PUSHED ME? WHY CAN'T I USE THE PORTAL?Those were his arguments and questions. Yet he couldn't find an answer to either of them. It got on his nerves to think that he couldn't tell what was happening. The system should give him an explana

  • Partition?

"He is so full of himself!"One of the girls started. "What did you think he would do in the first place? He would come and beg you come to with him?"Another had carried on. There was a brief silence which travelled through the open space. The eight girls were sunbathing by the shore of a sea at a VIP beach in Vegas. It was an exclusive site to them. Claire was there with them. The only person who wasn't there was... you guessed right. Yea, Jada. "At least, he would have saved face. But now what? How is he going to do it?"Another girl had argued. "Let's assume that he came to beg or apologise, which will never happen. Would you have gone with him? Would anyone of you had gone with him?"That was Mira creating a stray stance. She was the first to come with something quite reasonable and controversial. "I mean, I would have. But it would be based on a condition. I mean, we all know how dangerous the elites are."Laurette had argued further. "Me too. I would have."Majority of th

  • Quest boycotted.

"I'm sure that you have an explanation for what happened out there."The young man was the first to attack. The fifty men had arrived in the mansion which Damien had created out of nothingness. The lot should be stunned by how such a magnificent building got to be situated in such a remote place. Yet, the hate in their hearts which was fueled by the incident which happened several minutes ago, wouldn't let them see the obvious. Damien was standing in a position that was justifiable to the lot. He didn't hold a precise person in his gaze. He didn't care about so many things. His mind was quite busy, thinking about how to carry on the quest. "Take as much time as you want, but tell us what the hell happened out there."He had expected the elderly man to take the reins of the young man, since they appear to work together. But he was quite surprised to see a strange man who had never spoken before. It was this strange man that had spoken after the young man. In short, he never thought

  • "Where is the third lion?"

"What do we do?""Do something lad!!!""This is on you.""Why did you bring us to an island that has never been surveyed?""Will you take responsibility if any of us get harmed?"The men took their turns lashing out at Damien. The men had found a new reason to stick together, awaiting Damien's judgment. SEEMS LIKE Y'ALL STILL HAVE MOUTHS TO TALK. He looked at the lions. They were about to charge at him. Then he stepped out of the way all of a sudden. "What is the matter?""What is happening?""Won't you do something?""Are you ---"The men wers still struggling to sort their words when the lions charged at the cluster of fifty men. The three lions chased the men around the woods, the men falling to stand up over and over again. Some would roll to one side and the other side. In a short period of time, some already had dirty clothes, smeared faces and wild hair. While some panted, some tried to hide. But it was rather strange that the lions were only chasing them. And just few of
