Mist Village, a secluded hamlet nestled at the foot of the Thousand Dragon Mountain, was shrouded in thick fog year-round. The fog was not just a natural phenomenon, but also a veil of mystery that hid ancient secrets. In this village lived a young man named Ren Tian, an orphan raised by the village elder, Old Li. Despite his simple life, Ren Tian possessed a strong spirit and a kind heart, like the sun trying to pierce through the dense fog.

That morning, the fog hung heavy, making the village look like a gray painting. Old Li, with his hoarse voice laden with life experience, called Ren Tian from their small hut. "Ren Tian, don't forget to bring firewood from the forest," he said, his wrinkled eyes gazing at Ren Tian with love.

Ren Tian, who was tidying his worn clothes, smiled warmly. "Okay, Grandpa. I'll go right away," he replied, picking up his axe and wooden basket. "The forest won't run away, will it?"

Old Li chuckled, his voice like the rustling of dry leaves. "Be careful, boy. The forest holds many secrets, both beautiful and dangerous."

Ren Tian nodded, understanding Old Li's meaning. The Thousand Dragon Forest was not only a source of firewood, but also a place where legends and myths flourished. The villagers believed that the forest was inhabited by ancient creatures and powerful spirits.

Ren Tian entered the dense forest, where towering trees stood like giant towers and the sounds of wild animals could be heard faintly, like mysterious whispers. The fog hung between the trees, creating a gloomy yet captivating atmosphere. As he gathered firewood, he felt a strange aura, like an unseen presence.

"What is that?" Ren Tian muttered, his eyes scanning his surroundings.

He followed the aura, his curiosity overcoming his fear. The deeper he went into the forest, the thicker the fog became, until he could barely see anything. Suddenly, he found a hidden cave, its dark mouth like a giant eye staring at him.

"What kind of cave is this?" Ren Tian whispered, his steps hesitant.

His curiosity led him into the dark cave. The air inside the cave felt cold and damp, and the silence within was so thick that he could hear his own heartbeat.

He lit the torch he carried, its light dancing on the rough walls of the cave. The deeper he went, the stronger the strange aura became. Suddenly, he saw a red light flickering in the distance. With a pounding heart, he approached the light.

Inside the cave, in a hidden alcove, he found an ancient altar made of black stone. On the altar, there was a red crystal stone that glowed with dazzling light. The stone looked like a beating heart, emitting a powerful and mysterious energy.

"What kind of stone is this?" Ren Tian whispered, mesmerized by its beauty.

Unconsciously, he reached out and touched the stone. As his finger touched the cold crystal surface, a strange energy flowed into his body, like lightning striking. Ren Tian felt an incredible sensation, as if his whole body was on fire.

"Aaaargh!" Ren Tian screamed in pain.

The red light from the stone became brighter, and the energy in the cave became stronger. Ren Tian felt dizzy and weak, and his vision began to blur. Before he could do anything, he fainted, lying unconscious on the cold floor of the cave.

The fog outside the cave thickened, hiding the secret that had just been revealed. Ren Tian's destiny had changed, and the world around him would soon change with him.

As Ren Tian fainted, the cave trembled, and the red light from the crystal stone filled the entire space, illuminating ancient carvings on the cave walls that were previously hidden in darkness. The carvings told stories of ancient gods and their extraordinary powers, as well as warnings about the evil forces lurking in the shadows.

A few hours later, Ren Tian slowly opened his eyes. His head felt heavy, and his body ached as if it had been beaten. He sat up, confused, and looked around. The cave looked different now, as if it had changed. The carvings on the cave walls glowed faintly, and the red crystal stone on the altar emitted a warm and friendly aura.

"What happened?" Ren Tian muttered, his voice hoarse. He touched his chest, feeling something strange. There was energy flowing inside him, like a rushing river.

He stood up and walked to the altar, staring at the red crystal stone. "You... you are the source of this power?" he whispered, his eyes fixed on the stone.

Suddenly, a voice echoed in the cave, a deep and ancient voice. "I am the Blood of the Gods, the source of the gods' power. You, Ren Tian, are my vessel now."

Ren Tian was startled, his eyes widening. "Who are you? How do you know my name?" he asked, his voice trembling.

"I am the voice of the past, the echo of gods long gone. You have been chosen, Ren Tian, to carry my power, to change the destiny of the world."

Ren Tian felt confused and afraid. He didn't understand what was happening. "I... I'm just an orphan from Mist Village. I don't understand what you're saying."

"You will understand, Ren Tian. Time will explain it. Now, you must leave. The fog will soon descend, and you must return to the village before nightfall."

Ren Tian nodded, still dazed. He picked up his axe and wooden basket, and walked out of the cave. As he walked, he felt the strange energy flowing inside him, making him feel strong and excited.

When he returned to Mist Village, the sun had set, and the fog had become very thick. Old Li was waiting for him in front of their hut, his face full of worry.

"Ren Tian! Are you alright?" exclaimed Old Li, rushing towards him. "I was worried you wouldn't come back."

"I'm fine, Grandpa," Ren Tian replied, smiling. "I just... got a little lost in the forest."

Old Li looked at him suspiciously, his sharp eyes scrutinizing Ren Tian's face. "You look different, boy. Something has changed about you."

Ren Tian was silent, not knowing what to say. He couldn't tell Old Li about the cave and the voice. "I... I'm just tired, Grandpa. I'm going to rest now."

Old Li nodded, though he still seemed worried. "Alright, boy. Rest. We'll talk tomorrow."

Ren Tian went into their hut, feeling confused and uneasy. He lay down on his bed, staring at the dark ceiling. The voice continued to echo in his head, its words mysterious and threatening.

"You have been chosen, Ren Tian... to change the destiny of the world..."

Ren Tian closed his eyes, trying to sleep, but his mind kept racing. He knew that his life had changed forever, and he didn't know what would happen next.

  • The Dark Shadow Attack

The sky roared. Not the roar of the wind, not the roar of wild beasts, but the soul-shaking roar of dark energy. The Shadow of Darkness, an evil entity that had only been a horrifying legend, was now real. The attacks were brutal, merciless. Major cities are devastated in an instant. Skyscrapers collapsed like playing cards, torn apart by an unimaginable force. The oldest sects, the last bastions of humanity, were reduced to smoking ruins. The world was plunged into despair.Amidst the panic and chaos, the Alliance of Light, an alliance of the strongest warriors from across the world, stood firm. They are the last line of defense against the encroaching darkness. However, even they seem overwhelmed. Their enemies were not only powerful, but also countless in number. Black shadows of horrifying shapes swarmed from every corner, sowing terror and death."We must survive!" shouted General Kaelan, the leader of the Alliance of Light, his voice loud amidst the roar of battle. Hi

  • Final preparations

The sky above the Sacred Valley emitted a golden purple tinge as dusk approached. This was where the power center of the alliance had gathered, a sacred place chosen for its sheltered position and rich spiritual energy. Allies from various sects, clans, and kingdoms had arrived, forming the world's last circle of hope against the threat of the Dark Shadow. In the center of the practice field, the sound of weapons clashing echoed. The students practiced in formation, surrounded by elders who watched vigilantly."Your movements are still too slow, repeat from the beginning!" shouted Xue Li, the leader of the Ice Mountain Sect. His eyes were sharp, his white hair fluttering in the mountain wind. "We can't give even the slightest opening to such a big enemy."Ren Tian stood beside Lin Yue and Mr. Ji, watching the entire preparation."So much has changed since our journey began," Lin Yue murmured as she looked at the warriors practicing."But one thing hasn't changed," Ren Tian said, his e

  • Combined Strength

Dusk was falling when Ren Tian, Lin Yue, Xue Li, and their allies arrived at the plateau called the Valley of the Divided Sky. It was in this place, according to Mr. Ji, that the energy of the sacred artifacts could be harmonized into one unparalleled force."This place feels... heavy," Lin Yue murmured as she touched the cracked and charred surface of the ground, like it had once been a battlefield.Ren Tian nodded. "This soil bears traces of the blood of the previous owners of the artifacts. We must be careful."Xue Li spun a snowball of energy in his palm, his eyes sweeping around. "We are not alone. Something is watching."Ren Tian opened the God's Blood Eye. A crimson aura flashed from his eyes, piercing through the twilight mist. "Three shadows, above the cliff to the east. But they're not attacking. They're just observing.""Maybe they're guards from ancient times," Lin Yue said quietly. "Or remnants of the Dark Shadows."Despite the tense atmosphere, they began to prepare the

  • Exploring the Ancient Ruins

A thin mist shrouded the rocky ground as Ren Tian, Lin Yue, and the other two alliance members, Yao Zhen and Mei Lian, stood before the mouth of the ancient ruins. Giant pillars towered up, most of which had collapsed with time, but still left behind an ancient aura that suppressed the soul."This is the place," Ren Tian said, his voice low. He grasped the guidance crystal that emitted a faint glow towards the ruins. "The sacred artifact should be inside here."Lin Yue stepped forward, staring at the carvings on the outer wall of the ruins. "These are ancient letters from the Age of Emptiness. It seems that this is not only an artifact hiding place, but also the tombs of the old era guardians."Yao Zhen squinted. "Are you sure we can face the creatures guarding this place? Legend has it that they are not just ordinary guards.""That's why we're here together," Mei Lian replied. "If anyone can break through this place's defenses, it's us."They entered a hallway of ruins. The walls wer

  • Searching for Sacred Artifacts

The morning sky welcomed the long journey of Ren Tian, Lin Yue, and Xue Li. The cold air from the Misty Mountains slipped through their robes, but none of them complained. Before them lay an uncertain path-a mission to find a sacred artifact that could supposedly withstand the rise of the Dark Shadow."Where do we start?" asked Xue Li as she looked at the old map Lin Yue had laid out."The ancient manuscripts in the Black Dragon Library mention four sacred artifacts. The first one is called the Sky Blood Stone, stored within the ruins of the Temple of Light in the southwestern region," explained Lin Yue.Ren Tian nodded. "Then we head for the Temple of Light. But we must be prepared to face whoever is guarding the place."The journey towards the ruins took two days. On the way, they faced heavy rain, slippery roads, and attacks from beasts that had been corrupted by dark energy. On the third night, they stopped at a cave for shelter."I feel like this artifact isn't just another holy

  • A New Threat Emerges

The Floating City still hung fragile in the sky, the remnants of the battle clearly visible from the building debris floating slowly to the ground. Ren Tian stood at the edge of the huge balcony overlooking the golden clouds, his body still trembling from the effects of the "Eye of God's Blood: Life Breaker". Behind him, Lin Yue and Xue Li watched with a mixture of awe and anxiety."Your strength... has already passed the limits of ordinary humans," Xue Li murmured.Ren Tian turned his head, his breathing still heavy. "But I feel... that's not the end. There's something more. Something lurking."Lin Yue nodded slowly. "I feel it too. Ever since this city was shaken, there's been an aura... darker than the Dark Sect."Suddenly, the previously clear sky turned cloudy. Pitch-black clouds swirled above the horizon, forming a giant vortex."What is that...?" whispered Xue Li.A heavy voice echoed from the sky. "You've thwarted the pawns' plans... but you won't be able to fight the root."I
