The Head Hunter stood over Karvel's bloodied form, his mind churning with conflicting thoughts. Part of him felt satisfied at having put the arrogant businessman in his place, but another part remained deeply unsettled.

"Clean this mess up," he ordered his thugs. "And dump him at the nearest hospital."

Giuseppe Romano wiped blood from his brass knuckles. "You want us to finish him off, boss?"

"No. Let him live with the humiliation."

As his men began dragging Karvel's unconscious body toward the exit, the Head Hunter couldn't shake his lingering suspicions.

"Maybe he really is just a punk who likes to run his mouth," he muttered to himself. "All talk and no substance."
