Chapter Two- Getting together Fiasco

''So, tomorrow is your graduation and you're still working today? shouldn't you be chatting with your friends about your plans after graduation and stuff?" Min's co-worker asked her.

"Plans? There's no need, am just gonna prank some unlucky fools with some alcohol tonight, and for that I need cash, therefore hard work is needed"

'Besides that annoying lawyer won't spare me a glance If I tell him what I'm using the money to do' Min thought

"What a saint" another co-worker with dark circles rolls her eyes at min

"I might sound mean but what has to be done, has to, besides those morons probably ain't gonna get to the next stage without my help, trust me if you've experienced what i have by being third wheel in their romance, you'll do exactly what i've done"

The other co-worker giggles while the one with the dark circles rolls her eyes.

Min works as a Waitress in a bakery café and due to her natural charisma and beauty, she's very popular among the customers.

Sometimes she helps in the kitchen to earn some extra cash and since her Baking and Beverage making skills were superb, she was allowed;

She was once asked to work as a baker but she rejected stating that her desires for pulling pranks might cause something.... not so good, so in the spirit of kindness, she rejected.

Of course her employee was not happy, but Min was a good kid and she would never force her into doing anything she didn't want to do, so she reluctantly gave up but still pestered Min every now and then, making their relationship quite close.

"'Sup girl,

yeah I am pretty much ready for the graduation,

hmmm, a suit,

yup, I'll be looking hot on that day,

yeah tell them I'm paying~ for all of 'em,

okay see ya!'' She hangs up.

"Damn I really should rest, my body's all sore, but I need to deliver all this for Mrs. Jim (her employer), well~, since there's cash".

*Leaves*

"FML, I can't believe I overslept on my Graduation, ah!" hurriedly buttons up cuffs and grabs a cupcake before speeding off.

She arrives only to be cautioned by Claire severely.

Soon, the graduation commenced and the principal took a long time blabb… ahem! Giving a speech before awarding the various students for different achievements, min got a gift for most intelligent student of the year getting up to 99% of questions and Claire for most responsible student of the year. The students were all given gifts and congratulated.

"Claire and Dong, when are you two finally going to confess that you like each other and finally date? your game of love has been going on for ages!"

Min blatantly exposed her two friends without a single shame or guilt in the get together for her class after their graduation.

Some cheered for them (C & D), while the two victims were red that they could drip blood, glaring furiously at the culprit who "Innocently" stared at them like they were the bullies.

Dong was so pissed he nearly vomited blood, while smokes were literally flaring from Claire's ears. As if not enough min still smashed their remaining control into smithereens with her words:

"Hey come on, what? you guys won't thank me? I really suffered being a third wheel, hai! you should at least say thank you, right classmates?"

Min said, requesting backup from her classmates who readily gave it to her.

"Come on guys, apologize!"

"Poor min"

"It must have been hard on you"

"Yeah, go on and apologize"

'Sorry guys, but this is the power of free food' a classmate who slightly pitied Claire and dong thought.

"Thanks guys, I'm alright" Min 'grudgingly' awaited her friends' apology.

Dong who was KOed by min's shamelessness finally vomited blood while Claire's eyes practically shot flames at min.

Min: ...Maybe I was a bit too much, Ah

In the end everyone let them be and decided to play a game as proposed by min.

"uh~, I suppose am the king or queen, No. 3 sit on No. 5 lap till the next order" Min ordered

A boy with a dark expression went to sit on another boy's lap who looked like he wanted to shove the one sitting on his lap into the depths of hell.

The game became practically a way for Min to practically boss everyone around, no one knew how she did it but she got the king nearly every time.

Many got drunk because they refused to do many embarrassing stuff min told them to do,

Claire got so drunk that she couldn't figure out left from right again, just to avoid fulfilling min's perverted command of kissing dong and dong wasn't any better since not only did he drink his own drink, he took Claire's too.

But in the end they had to kiss since Claire couldn't survive another drink and they couldn't quit or more alcohol as penalty (it was practically a trap they foolishly fell for),

Therefore min saw her most awaited kiss~ even though it was just a peck on lips, yeah, quite sad.

Dong was angry, not only did he kiss Claire without her permission he did it when she was drunk, he felt like scum.

He gave min a hard glare, in which min returned with a cute smile, making him vomit blood again which had others wondering if he'll pass out from blood loss.

T/N: Claire is a lightweight and can't handle alcohol much

Since min got what she got the game progressed normally with many trying to get back at min, but not only that the name rarely got min,

When it did she always forfeited and she could surprisingly hold her alcohol well, not only that but she always made sure to play with the alcohol while giving them a provoking smile,

Deliberately annoying them, but even with all their annoyance they couldn't do anything they could only watch on and be provoked.

They could only glare at this demon of mischief and some started wondering if they were invited just to be played with.

Min: Great intuition

In the end the 'getting together' was more of a game for min to play around with all of them, after knowing how terrible min was, they started pitying her friends.

Later ~

Min carried the two unconscious and unlucky idiots each on her left and right shoulder and called a taxi dropping them at each of their houses. She personally carried Claire to her room since her grandma wasn't around.

As Claire's key was in her cloth's pocket, Min was able to unlock the door to her house.

She brought dong home and his worried parents took him inside after thanking min, which made min a bit guilty since it was kinda her that KOed him to the state he was in.

As an apology gift to her friends, min gave them (not literally since they passed out) a drink to help cure their hangover.

She bought some dumplings and a drink and returned home.

Walking into her house her facade completely cracked,

She looked at a picture with a beautiful lady with blue round eyes and dark brown hair hugging a 3 year old kid, the kid had round eyes just like the lady, only that hers' were bigger than the lady's,

The kid had big cheeks and was laughing in the picture while being tickled by the lady.

A sad smile adorned min's face as she sat on her bed admiring the picture,

"Mom, you always wanted me to finish middle school without getting kicked out of school, I promised you that but since I was SO naughty when I was small, you told me I'll probably have a bad record if I managed not to get kicked out. Well mum…" smirks

"I finished middle school with my mischievous character, with a perfect record and a gift!, aren't I cool?" giggles childishly

"Mom ,you should sing a song for me to congratulate me, I miss your voice so much even though I listen to them in the records everyday.

I proved you wrong by graduating middle school without being kicked out of school or getting a bad record, so shouldn't you give me a pat in the head and compliment my awesomeness?"

Hugging her knees to her chest with a pout she continued-

"Everyone else has someone with them right now, even Claire's parents will probably call her and congratulate her later and that makes me so jealous, I envy them mom, I miss you so much mom, so very much..."

"They say you never appreciate the value of something until you lose it, I love you so DANG much mum and now I've come to realize that more than ever before..."

Min touched the lady in the picture that was smiling in happiness, the moon shone from the window into her dark room directly illuminating min's pale beautiful face.

She had her lights off, she was ready for sleep but seeing this picture directly being shone on by the light from the window reminded her again that she had no one at home to care about her, even the gift she had gotten was just hers to appreciate and that ruined her sleeping mood.

Sighing she turned the picture backwards on the edge of her bed, closed the window, covered herself up with a quilt and forced herself to sleep with a heavy heart, she would hide that picture somewhere to not see it again.

Sometimes, certain things were better off forgotten, BUT, she would never forgive herself if she forgot someone who loved her THAT dearly.
