Amanda’s heart thudded as Victor’s car rolled to a stop at the dimly lit cabin on the outskirts of the city. Amanda hadn’t seen Viktor in person since the last time that she almost had him killed by Devin, after revealing his secret to him. She’d agreed to meet him at a secluded hangout spot where she had to pay to merely enter. It was a place that was built for secret meetings and to discuss confidential things. People paid a huge sum just to enter the place, and it was just as she expected. There were signs when she got there, it just looked like a regular building.
