Lorenzo and Ricardo had arrived before Grant Dickson, just as expected, for his treatment.

The expression on Ricardo’s face was mixed. He was never a fan of the herbal mixture, but he had no choice but to do the needful; his hope was that Grant would heal him as promised.

“What’s taking you time? Aren’t you done with the mixture?” He asked.

The scent of herbs had filled the air, making Ricardo want to throw up. He felt like suffocating, but when he remembered he had come to be cured, he tried to endure.

“I am coming, I need a few minutes,” Grant said.

“He will be here soon, hold on, Mr. Gallo.” Lorenzo mouthed.

At that moment, Grant stepped forward carrying a bowl filled with thin slices of dried ginseng, curled strands of liquorice root, delicate chrysanthemum petals, and a darker herb that gave off a sharp, earthy scent.
