THREE WEEKS LATER. (At the Carneys Villa)

"Damon, welcome darling, how was the case?" His mother asked as he entered the house, tired and hungry.

"It was a blast mom, didn't you watch it on TV?" Damon asked as his mother kissed his forehead.

That's his mom's little ritual, kissing him on the cheeks or the forehead. He had tried to stop the little tradition because it was weird and for the fact that he was now a Boss but the older woman would have nothing of such, so he was stuck with it.

"Welcome Teddy, she didn't watch it on television and she forbids anyone from telling her, she wishes to hear the news from you," Artemis said with a smile and Damon just beamed.

"Okay, so mom..." Damon began, clearing his throat, "We didn't only win the case, Dad's name is cleared and his company now bears his name, we are cleared Mom, our family name has been vindicated." He added and his mom began to sob and hugged his son.
